"Went there for lunch with some friends today. I had the fish and chips, they had the tenderloin sandwich. Everything was simply amazing! My fish was absolutely crispy on the outside, tender, and juicy on the inside. The house made tartar sauce made the dish complete. It was accompanied by housemaid fries, which were absolutely fantastic. I wish I had thought to take a picture before I devoured my lunch. The service is always fantastic at this place. I love going there in the summer when you can sit on the patio. But the inside is beautifully decorated with amazing murals and just an overall great vibe."
"This place was awesome!! If you're vegan and looking for a place to This place is it. The food is flavor and tasty can hardly tell it's vegan. I had the tenderloin , hubby had fish & chips and my daughter who is no longer vegan was super impressed. The service was as expected very knowledgeable and was able to suggest entrees. Over all service 5 stars .8The ambiance was a little dark for me would not stop me from ordering again."

"A perfect afternoon break, I popped in to Upland after checking out the adjacent bridge and enjoyed a beer before continuing my journey. Sitting at the bar, I found a power outlet and connected to the wifi for an hour or so.Quiet, comfortable, great service and the beer was refreshing. "Great food and they have an outdoor patio that is good size. They offer brunch on the weekend! Popped in before a Fever game. Pictures of the happy hour and the Frisco Melt! FYI VEGETARIANS/ VEGANS!!! The fries are fried in an animal fat/oil (as 2 of the people I went with are vegetarians and they were told this)"
"**BRUNCH REVIEW ONLY**We went here for brunch a few weeks back and I was surprised by the presentation and type of brunch that was served. I had been here previously for the Bagel Breakfast Sandwich and it SLAPPED so hard!!! We got the Chicken and Waffles, Biscuits and Gravy and French Toast. As you can see, it's very much presentation-heavy, however I found the flavors were lacking and did not meet my expectations. The chicken and waffles went pretty heavy on the rosemary / seasoning which was unexpected and not desired. The French toast was good, but too sweet for me. The biscuits and gravy were good, but I wish it were more sausage heavy!I'll totally be back for brunch, but only for the Breakfast Bagel!!!"
"I haven't been to LBC in several years, so I was excited to see specials listed on a board out front. Today, I was after a bowl of soup. It was early and a table full of local law enforcement was having lunch. Always a good sign when the locals eat there. They are housed in an old building. There is patio seating, bar area seating an another large dining room with a large beer mural. We got a table by the window. Matthew was the only server working when we arrived. He was friendly and made recommendations despite being busy. He said the soups are homemade and a guy comes in a makes them a couple times a week. The soup of the day was a Turkey Alfredo. The soup was creamy, hearty and thick. The seasoning was perfect, not too much salt. I would have traded some of the noodles for a few more vegetables. But it was really good none the less. The Tap Room Chicken Sandwich, bbq pulled chicken topped with melted cheese and deep fried onion wedges, stole the show. A generous portion of the chicken topped a fresh chewy pretzel roll. The onions were unique and delicious. Sandwiches come with fabulous house made chips. Soooo good, golden brown and not too salty. Yum. His sandwich was $2 off as a daily special. There's free street parking the building is accessible with no stairs. Kid friendly with kid menu. Adult friendly with bar. I'll be back to try the happy hour specials."

Service was a bit slow -- maybe 10-15 min before she came by to take my drink order the same wait for my food and again when trying to get my bill. I got a Rueben sandwich (that was very good) and one of their beers (that was also very good). I probably should have sat outside but was worried it was going to start raining. Their patio looked nice.

Had the Drunken Chicken Pasta and it was delicious! Just enough spicy. Chicken grilled perfectly. Great service too! Definitely try the Baby Guinness cocktail. Scotch eggs with HB sauce as an app. And the Monon Porter!! Wow. Just fantastic!

I'm back yet again! lol. This is still the best place to get a burger in Columbus. Still great speed of service. We sat in the bar tonight by choice. It wasn't too loud and the music playlist was random and enjoyable lol a lot of throwbacks. Some Billy Joel. ELO. Stevie wonder. Bonnie Tyler. Etc. I don't remember noticing the music before. Thanks Joseph Palacios for this enjoyable and delicious place of business. Ps I was waiting to post this review until I got pictures of the food but we were so hungry that we tore it up as soon as it came so I spaced it lol

Right downtown Indianapolis underneath the railroad tracks but close enough to walk to both Colts or Pacers games, this upscale Belgian-inspired brewpub can get really packed so try to set a reservation or get there early! During sports seasons they stream sports at the bar so it can get very loud and lively in there! It echos too. Service is average but as I mentioned it can get busy and staff seems spread thin. Food is unique for the Midwest and high quality ingredients!! Their chicken and waffles was honestly perfectly crispy. The chicken sandwich was average but was hoping for a spicy sauce and high quality pickles but the toppings are mostly all coleslaw. Tons of awesome brown ales, Belgian wheats, and super flavorful stouts all brewed right in house. They have two floors and an outdoor patio area with a lot of seating. Great for a classy work dinner or guys night.. you can even rent the top bar for a work party or event!

I stopped in Lafayette Brewing Co. At about 5pm on a Friday afternoon. The restaurant was comfortably busy and I was able to easily find a seat at the bar. I was quickly served and ordered a pint and it was quickly brought to me. The bartender asked me if I wanted food and I did and he made a couple of recommendations. I chose the pizza bread and was not disappointed. The portion was large and very filling. I always enjoy coming here and will try to make it back for dinner more often.

Upland Brewing Company is based in Bloomington, Indiana but they have expanded with 4 restaurants in the Indianapolis area and 1 in Columbus, IN. My family and I had stopped at the 82nd Street location in Indianapolis for dinner. They have more than a dozen of their beers on tap, including the year-round Dragonfly IPA and Wheat Ale, but they also have seasonal selections and a handful of sours. For dinner, I enjoyed the Nashville hot chicken sandwich with Broad Ripple chips ($15). The giant piece of fried chicken was topped with blue cheese slaw and horseradish pickles on a toasted brioche bun. This was a really good sandwich, not overly spicy, but with a subtle heat that I enjoyed thoroughly. My wife noticed that any of their burgers can be subbed for grilled or fried chicken, black-bean patty, local bison, or impossible meat. She had the Bad Elmer's Fav with fried chicken, sharp cheddar, applewood bacon, Bad Elmer's Porter BBQ, lettuce, tomato, and onion along with a side of brewery fries ($16.50). This was an enormous plate of food! I think the Nashville hot was the better choice, but still, this was really tasty. Our kids enjoyed their selections from the kids menu. Our service was wonderful and the meal was pretty quick for a Friday evening. We would definitely return when back in Indianapolis.

"Even tho I haven't had much here, what I have had was spot on. The fried cauliflower was the best I have had: Fresh cauliflower, tasty batter, piping hot, great dipping sauces. Cider selection was several, my drink was cold, prompt and what I wanted. Nice music mix, not to loud. Enough ppl but not over crowded. Zero complaints!"
"I've been on business travel lately and I was sent to Indianapolis for the first time. Once I checked into my hotel I did a Yelp search for food and found this brewery was very close. I like trying local places and avoiding chain restaurants so I headed over. My bartender was very friendly. I asked for a recommendation on beer and she asked what my favorite types are. I said Stouts, Reds, IPAs in that order. She told me about their beer called Teddy Bear Kisses. She also gave food recommendations, which was good but nowhere near the beer :)The Stout was amazing, one of my top five stouts all time. It was strong, very flavorful, and smooth. I wish I could have taken some home to Texas with me. Breweries here could learn a thing or two from Upland. I ordered a pizza, which was good. I don't want to take away from that, but the. Were left the impression on me. Service was excellent, everyone was friendly."
"King Jugg's atmosphere was amazing. I haven't been to a place with such a great feel in a while! The food was also outstanding! Everyone at our table loved their meals (wraps and burgers) and I had the Buffalo chicken dip app as my meal which was so so good! Unfortunately I was really not impressed with our service. The server seemed distracted and didn't know what their "secret sauce" was? Which I find weird when it's all over the entire menu. They seemed quite distracted and not entirely friendly which threw the vibes off. I also paid in cash and she brought my change but didn't bring my coins(just the bills)... not sure why it's assumed you can keep part of my change? I did tip her but maybe she was under the assumption I would not and kept my coins which... is stealing lol. I hope I can go back and get better service because everything else was perfect!!"
"I found myself in Terre Haute on a Friday afternoon and decided to stop in. Tried a few of their sour beers and the pretzel with beer cheese. The sours were both fantastic (boo-berry vizodka and reptars revenge) and I found myself puckering! The staff was SO friendly and incredibly attentive. I had parked at a table to do some reading and they checked on me often to see if I needed anything. Really felt welcome in this tap room, and the beers were great! The pretzel was HEAVEN. so fluffy and perfect! The manager told me that they've been searching for the best product, and they DEF found it. Couldn't have been happier to find myself here!"
"Don't miss this tiny place in a tiny town. Big flavors, big personality, and great beer on tap! And all with local friendly service. The Detroit style pizza (we had the Motown) was so flavorful and the crispy cheese around the edges is the best! We also tried the Yo, Paulie, which is a white pie with soppressata salami, ricotta, mozzarella, Italian sausage, garlic, basil, and a drizzle of hot honey...yeah, amazing! We'll be back when in the area next time."
"Had a great lunch! Caroline was so attentive and we just kept throwing questions at her. We so appreciated the GREAT service, delicious food (FRIES WERE AMAZING- note: GET THE BEER CHEESE), and beer selection. We have been wanting to try Purple Haze- Abita- and they had it! Thank you! And Caroline ROCKS! Would have sat and drank MUCH MORE beer- but- alas- it's only noon"
"Cannot thank the shorthanded staff enough for making the Solar Eclipse weekend a huge success. They made it a really special weekend with their attentiveness under duress (the hotel was PACKED) and the food/drinks hit the spot! Thank you!"
"Waitress was amazing as soon as we walked in explaining everything and inviting us back for their live music. Food was delicious and the fries were some of the absolute best."
