"Full disclosure, I'm not much of a bowler. But I love mini-golf. With the weather being a bit colder, I went looking for a few indoor mini-golf choices around Indy. Bowl 32 has a really well decorated course! It's very short, though (only 9 holes). But the decor alone is worth a play through. The course seemed well maintained, too, without any major breakdowns or issues. The staff were mostly kids from Noblesville High School, and were all friendly. Just don't expect them to offer concierge white glove service. It's a bowling alley staffed by teens in the suburbs. The bowling and arcade all looked well maintained and entertaining, too. And there was a nice food area. I think if you're looking for an afternoon distraction for kids, Bowl 32 is a great choice."
"I really like this bowling alley. It has everything you could want in a bowling alley except free daycare for toddlers. I'm kidding about the daycare but everything else is A-OK. On weekdays before 5 pm, games only cost $3.75 Food and beverages are available. Score keeping systems are very up to date and fun. There is plenty of parking in their big lot. They have a very nice mini Pro Shop here where I got my bowling ball's holes adjusted by re-drilling one of them to fit my grip better. I bought a bowling ball "suitcase" from them which I did not know even existed until I saw them. It is a bag to put your ball in, plus a side pocket for your shoes and another pocket for a towel or whatnot and the whole thing had two wheels and a luggage type telescoping handle so you can wheel it from the car into the building. But it also has carrying handle if you prefer.Austin's Bar & Grill is inside. They have a large menu. If you order food they will deliver it to your lane so you can continue to bowl while you wait. There is a game room, lockers and Tom & Jerry's Barbershop. The barbershop door is located inside the bar area. The game room is being updated and will reopen next week."
"Came here after our normal duckpin bowling plans fell thru due to popularity and crowds. I had a really fun time here, mostly cause it wasn't packed and super crowded. I think if it were any more crowded than what it was, it would have been a headache. Luckily, the footballs are mostly light, but still, it's a challenge. I was feeling it the next day for sure. I think this is an extremely specific thing that isn't for everyone, especially smaller kids since it's such a struggle to throw far distances. As such, I'd recommend that the place adds in a few different types of games, I.e. racket ball, ping pong, and games of that sort, to diversify the options for those that aren't into fowling. It was $14 per person per hour. We were able to get 2-3 games in that time and that was enough for me. Had a fun time, but probably not one of those places I'd frequent on a regular basis."
"I find myself in conflict as I attempt to write my review of Plaza Lanes. On one hand, entertainment in Connersville is fairly limited. On the other hand, I am a horrible bowler. Therefore, bowling is a semi-fun, fairly inexpensive option ($14.50 will get two people two games on a Friday night) on rainy weekends when there's nothing else going on and a big group of us are consecutively bored. I really don't feel bad spending $7.25 on gutter balls and putting myself at risk for an unidentified foot fungus in the name of some quality time with friends. But here's the but.Our group (four couples, ages ranging from 28-35) were the oldest people in there by quite a large margin. There were several dozen cracked-out-looking teenagers wandering around the premises doing everything but bowling... there was arguing, crying, screaming, laughing, holding hands... and apparently some illicit drug activity followed by vomiting and a tally on somebody's juvie record. Yep, some glassy-eyed kid barfed in the bathroom and then got hauled off by the cops after he and a bunch of his pals were searched. Party on, Wayne.So... yeah. The good part about this is that if you're actually at Plaza Lanes to use the building for which it was designed, you'll be left alone. Bowling at the bowling alley is for old fogies, I guess."
"This bowling alley is fully open and amazing. What a dramatic difference from Brownsburg Bowl. Everything is brand new. The food is good and service is on point. Nicholas our server got our food to us fast and hot. This place is the best recreation addition to brownsburg. I know it just opened however they make sure you are taken care of and happy. They also have security to make sure everything is safe."
"First visit. Found a Groupon and it was under $20 for six pairs of shoe rentals and two hours of bowling! This place is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. Best hidden gem of my 2021! Highly recommend for inexpensive family fun or date night. Definitely will be back! Kudos for a great family entertainment venue. They have signs posted that they have a zero tolerance policy for bad behavior. Really enjoyable!"
"Nice clean bowling alley with reasonable prices. It is a little dated inside but I'm there to bowl, not be dazzled by fine art. I had a hard time finding holes in ball big enough for my fingys. The girlfriend says I have sausage fingers though. They have pretty much a full bar for all your beverage needing needs. They also have a Noble Romans on sight as well."
"When I had friends visit me in Muncie, we always did three things. Heorot, Puerta Vallarta, and Clancy's. In agreement with the other reviews, if I had been in a city with anything else going on, I may not have chosen these three activities as my must-dos. But, when in Rome...Clancy's has like 50 bowling lanes or something, cheap beer, and a big pool hall. It's not the best place on earth, but I will give it five stars because it just might be one of the best places in Muncie. I was always amazed to come here, NOT on league night, and have to wait to get a lane because literally all other 50-some lanes were taken. I believe they have some sort of disco bowl on the weekends, or at least they used to. When you're waiting for a lane, you can do some quality people-watching. If you're living in Muncie, it's really something you must check out. At least once."
"My husband and I started coming here a couple months ago when we wanted to go bowling. We live in Whitestown, and this is closer any other bowling alley. Great little alley away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Wednesdays are $1 game nights, which is when we go on our bowling date night together. It's still not that busy on those nights, which I love! It gives us a chance to have fun. Kitchen and bar for those who want to drink and have a snack while they play. What more could you ask for?"
"I loooove Patricks. Maybe it's nostalgic for me, but I can't quit coming. I don't even live in Sullivan. Lol I've been coming here since 1993 when I was only 3 years old. It was a treat for after my dance recital which happened to be in Sullivan. Went there throughout the years for the pizza and bowling every time we would visit my moms family who lived there. And then morning of our honeymoon, my husband and I stopped here for lunch before taking off for our honeymoon. Idk if I'm just a sucker for nostalgia. But that was 20 years after the first time I ever went, and the pizza tastes just as good."
"This is a pretty decent bowling alley but there are some drawbacks that make other places a better option. There was absolutely no air conditioning and they had huge fans blowing hot air all over the bowling alley. There is a limited selection of balls most all of which are hand-me-downs. The lanes had almost no oil on them and we're pretty chewed up but I have to admit it added character to the lanes. I would go again if they would at least turn on the air-conditioning but it was just too uncomfortable to return"
"Woodland Bowl has stood the test of time, it seems. It's not the most modern or pristine bowling alley, but it's not overly dirty or dated, either. Although, they are in desperate need of new bowling shoes, since they still have the same neon pink/green shoes. It's $4 if you need to rent a pair. I went with a friend who is in the Thursday Pins & Pints bowling league. I hadn't bowled in awhile, but had an enjoyable experience. They have a small food court with basic offerings and two bars."

Bowl 32 has been my go-to "fun spot" for years, and I was so excited to bring my friends with me! First of all, Bowl 32 is much more affordable than most bowling alleys in our area, and it offers several more activities like laser tag, glow-in-the-dark mini golf, and an arcade. I called ahead and made a reservation for Saturday night, but I guess it wasn't really necessary. Most of the lanes were empty, and that made me really sad. More people need to come check this place out! I could spend hours here without spending too much, as bowling costs $45/hour/lane up to 5 people (a fraction of Pinhead's cost), laser tag was only $5/game, and the arcade games were priced pretty reasonably ($1-$1.50 per play, and generally arcade games are upwards of $3/play these days!) The bowling was a great time, my friends and I got a kick out of the "YouToons" where we could add our own pictures to the screen, and the disco lights and music made for a very fun atmosphere. I'm not the best bowler, and if you aren't either, I suggest practicing before you come because bumpers are only allowed for 12 and under! The laser tag was a blast, it was hilarious seeing a bunch of adults run wild together. Everyone on the staff was very kind (including the adorable robot waiters!) and they really go above and beyond to make everyone feel at home. Bowl 32 was a fantastic team-bonding activity, and will always be my favorite bowling alley in Indiana!

Hi way lane is a fun bowling place in Franklin, IN. Lot of bowling lanes, friendly staff and decent selection of beer. They also have cocktails and Pepsi products. They have a decent menu for food but don't expect great good it'spstly finger food and ok quality. Had fun time playing and also stays busy on weekends so plan your trip accordingly.

LOTS OF FUN! We had never been Fowling befoe. We did open lanes at 6:00pm on a Saturday and they were pretty open, I think that we waited about 10 minutes: which was perfect for grabbing a beer. The facility is pretty low key, there is a bar and some resturants around the property but you can go to The Garage before hand if you want more options. There is no Food (that we could find) in the facility. They have a LARGE varity of beers and some other drinks available for those who do not drink beer. Our group drank beers so we didn't go into details on other drinks. There are a few local taps on draft. Fowling in general is fun. If you are looking for regular bowling or duck pin, this is not the place. Throwing a Football is fun and you make a fool of yourself sometimes but it is so much fun. This is a 10/10

Well to start off, I love to bowl so I'm at the alley at least twice a week if not more. I personally love plaza lanes because it offers entertainment for all ages. Of course there is bowling, there are touch screen games, pool tables, a bar, great food, and even some games for the little kiddos. There are also leagues offered that are a lot of fun. But if your looking to just bowl a few frames avoid going on Wednesday nights because almost all the lanes will be taken up by leagues.

Nice updates, love the balls all in one spot and color coordinated by weights. Gets busy you can reserve a lane ahead of time but it's costly. $70 for a Friday or Saturday and $40 for a Sunday. Staff was friendly although it was difficult to get a drink at the bar,Staff was slow to get to you. I recommend either a waitress or a QR code to order from while bowling, it's difficult to stand in line for 1 beer for 10 min when you pay by the hour for bowling.Overall I would go early and definitely try the food!!

Set 'em up, KNOCK 'EM DOWN!Hindel is a great little bowling alley on the East side of Indianapolis. It's actually one of the oldest bowling alleys in the city, although it's modern interior would never show it. The alley has kept up with the updates in bowling (as lovingly low-tech as it remains), and features digital scoreboards, automatic pin-setters, etc.The facility itself is clean, and kept in good repair. I especially love that the snack bar features all of the fried, fatty things that the heart desires when tossing ten-pound balls at wooden pins. There's something absolutely relaxing about the repetitive destruction of the constantly re-set pins (that was surprisingly profound, lol).My only pause with Hindel Bowl is the location. It's a little bit away from the highway, which limits how accessible it is to some. If you make your way there in the daytime, you shouldn't have any troubling finding it. Happy bowling!

Went on a weekend with my boyfriend and his son for Cosmic Bowling. We took advantage of the coupon you can find here on Yelp. The atmosphere was welcoming and friendly, lots of smiles. There were plenty of lanes available even though it was the weekend. As we walked through I noticed everything was pretty clean and as I put my shoes on I thought, damn, the shoes are in good shape too. We ordered some seasoned fries and drinks but nothing really stood out about them, after all, they were just fries. I'm giving BLUE RIVER BOWL 4 stars because I enjoyed my experience there and I love a clean place. Unfortunately I only got to bowl one game because my boyfriend's son wanted to be a little bitch and go home because he wasn't bowling well. For that, he receives no stars.

"I have been here a few times for laser tag, and I LOVE IT. First of all, I only go with a group of adults and secondly, I am almost always under the influence of some of the 32oz beers they serve in the bowling alley. This place is a great arena to go with a group of fun loving adults who just want to kick back and shoot their friends with lasers. In the past, I've gone with groups of between 8-12 people, and we always have a great time. This place is connected to a big bowling alley that serves food and alcohol, and the staff usually lets you bring your beers into the waiting rooms at the laser tag hall. It's true that the staff isn't the most professional, but they are teenagers. What I loved about the staff last time I went, is that one of them strapped on a vest and played with us. He was fun, and wanted us to have a good time. Now, I probably would never take any kids here. If you are looking for a fun new experience, and you like 32oz beers, Laser Storm is totally the best place to go in Indy. I'd give it 5 stars because I've always had a blast here, but honestly, this place isn't quite there."
"The kids had a blast with the different style of games. Nice clean facility and then workers were curious when explaining the games."
"We had the most fun here!!The downstairs is where it's at. It's so cool. No one is coming here for, like, competition. The lanes are buckled and crazy. For the record, I totally sucked at this and had the most fun."
"Excellent Service and great place to let you your hair down and enjoy.Fantastic cheese burgers, and of course delicious fried chicken.Staff was attentive and service was excellent..Oh by the way you can bowl also!"
"Since getting back into bowling in a big way this winter, I am checking out bowling lanes whenever I find them. Pulling into the parking lot, it looked like they might be closed since there were only two cars in the parking lot. Once inside, I discovered a side entrance that most people were using and additional parking in a side lot. They have a total of 24 lanes here. I found the whole place to be well lighted and more welcoming than some. Plus there was no blaring music interfering with my concentration. The price was four dollars a game on a Friday afternoon. The snack bar was closed but there were two vending machines for drinks and snacks. It was not crowded at all. A group of seniors was bowling in the middle of the lanes, and another group at the one end, and a few of us at the opposite end. There is an empty space between the lockers and the rental cashier counter station in the center that I understand will be a future arcade. I bowled my usual three games. The scoring system is okay but could be better. Anyone watching can see the stats, such as ball speed, pins left, etc., but by the time I get back to see the screen, that info is gone too quickly. The system at my home lanes, displays that info all the time and much more, such as top possible score and has a six digit code or a QR code to pair with an app on your phone to keep your scores and stats. The restrooms were nice and clean, plus well stocked. There is no T-Mobile signal inside this building and only two bars (part of the time) in their big parking lot. I like this bowling alley and would return to bowl again."
"This is the first bowling I've ever been to that nails the screen game! The random trivia and jokes played during the game makes an extra treat for those waiting on their turn. A huge alley with tons of lanes for large groups, plenty of food and beverages for kids and adults, and decent prices made for two solid hours. Us eight people found two games for under twelve each including shoes. There's good arranged chairs and setup, easy to relax and enjoy time here."
"I really don't get why they have so many restrictions on open bowling. We went on a Thursday and it's obvious that they would make pleanty of money if they had open bowling all the time. It's too much of a hastle to bowl here, try somewhere else."
"I have been bowling at Rushville Bowl since I moved here about 7 years ago. I have to say it has been fun bowling 1 or 2 leagues a season. The owner, Jim, and his family are very nice and make everyone feel welcome when they walk in the door. The lanes are wood not synthetic and I like that about the place. It does get a little hot in there for me but you cannot make everyone happy where the temp is concerned. The also have a snack bar that serves food and you will usually find Karen, Jim's wife, back there smiling and waiting on the customers. Usually once per month on a Friday night they offer bowling for a $1 a game. That is cheap entertainment for the whole family!I will continue to bowl leagues there. Come on out and check it out."
"I've been here about 3 or 4 times. The last time I've been here was 5 years or so ago, so I thought it was time to visit again. I suck at all the things they offer, but it's still fun. I went with a friend, on a weekday right after they opened. We bowled a few games, played some games in the game room and played a few games of pool. I would have liked to stay longer and playsome corn-hole and darts, but my friend had to get home. I have never played corn-hole before. I would also like to come back with my co-workers and play Lazer Tag. I have never done that either. We ordered a few of the appetizers and a soda and a beer. They were tasty, and the portions were decent for the price. The prices for everything were very fair. The décor was fun and colorful and everything including the bathrooms were clean. The parking lot it adequate and I've been able to park right in front every time I've been here. The employees were efficient and quick but a little lack-luster. They weren't rude but seemed to not want to be there. I almost felt a little guilty for bothering them. I wonder if the general malaise was because we showed up so early. They are probably used to it being busier later in the evening. Still, I had a pretty good time and even though I suck at bowling, there isn't a lot to do in Crawfordsville, so I will be back."
"This was so much fun! We went over our lunch hour as a going away party for a co-worker and had a blast. It's small, but Franklin desperately needed a place like this and I'm so glad it's doing well. You can order pizza from Greek's as well as a few bar style snacks and soft drinks. I highly recommend making reservations if you go during the evening because there were quite a few people in there for the middle of the day."
"Great place. Lots of family unions and birthday celebrations here. Convenient to rent shoes. Have drink bar and store to sell bowling balls, shoes & bags. It has around 30 lanes. Also, support young kids throwing ball via the supporting stack, quite interesting to see little kids playing bowling."
"It's been a few years since we've been and they've updated a lot! New score screens and touch screens. Bumpers are automatic (which they might have already had, but didn't work). Very clean as well.Very affordable! And would definitely recommend!"
"My husband took me here recently after his co-worker suggested it. We walked in and immediately loved the 90's vibe and how clean it looked. The front desk man was kind and suggested we pay by the game, as that was a better deal for the time of day. There's a great variety of ball sizes, easy to find. There's a food area that offers things like pizza. The table next to us had a few pizzas and they looked really good. You can go up to order and they will call your number over the speaker when it's ready. Good system that allows you to keep bowling while you wait. It's a bit smaller than a traditional establishment but still quite a few lines. We found out that they have an awesome NYE event from 10p-12a where you get a lane, pizza, soda, and entry into giveaways (include a free lane for the next NYE) for $98. This event is so popular, some people pay/book a year in advance. We plan to attend next year!We liked the scoring system. It tells you what speed you threw the ball and at the end of the game, If you play again, reminds you of your previous score(s). Nice touch!Overall great family place, staff was very kind, and pricing was very reasonable (checkout the Discounts for Indy booklet for coupons!)."
"I went to Pinheads with some coworkers for a team building event. My manager had easily reserved a lane for us, and when we arrived we were surprised to be placed in the one of the two back private rooms, that had four or so lanes. It really was a great time being in that private area, we had the room nearly to ourselves until the end. I guess another company had booked the main area, where they had a large buffet in the main area, which made the entire place smell incredible. I'm honestly not much of a bowler, so I went in with low expectations. I am pleasantly surprised with how much fun we had! Our server was nice but was busy with the large corporate event. I will definitely give Pinheads another go."
"Went here for a team-building event. Cool little hidden gem. Reasonable prices, lots of lanes, and friendly staff. It's a pretty basic alley, no fancy screens or lighting or anything. But has everything you need to enjoy a few frames with your friends."
"I haven't been here in a good while but I remember it being fun :) the only reason I put four star is because it seems a tad run down. The staff was always nice !"
"I ended up going to the Beech Grove Bowl on Saturday night January 23rd. Since, there's nothing to do in the city every bowling of that night was sold out. I remember I called bowling alleys as far North as Noblesville which was sold out. I made out there at 8pm, and my wait time was 30mins. Everyone, that went to Beech Grove Bowl only bowled two games, the bowling alley is 24hrs, yet they made sure everyone was able to bowl which was why the limit was two games. The bowling alley is small, goes up to twelve lanes, the front entrance there's no stairs so it's accessible to everyone including if you use a wheelchair, or other devices. Beech Grove Bowl does have a small game room area, they do sell food as well as drinks. You do have to wear your masks coming in, and leaving the bowling alley. I noticed while bowling there were a lot of ppl not wearing their masks. At night the bowling alley glows in the dark, and when bowling it changes to a piano that actually makes noises when the bowling ball is rowing. A little fun fact about Beech Grove Bowl is that it's been open for 24hrs since 1948."
"For no particular reason, perhaps it was on a whim, I decided to drive the 20 minutes for me, down to Bloomington and check out their only bowling alley. It's the only one I'm aware of and for a city of this size, I would think there would be more than one. A Yelp search returns this location as the only bowling alley in Bloomington. It does not list the one on the IU campus probably because it is for students and not the public. The location was not so easy to find even with GPS. I missed the first turn because it didn't look like a street but more like a driveway. Eventually arriving close to my destination, I found the building is located behind a row of buildings on a main road and then set back out of sight on a side street to accommodate a large parking lot. Upon arrival I saw half of the overheard lights turned off making it rather dark inside. The counter person gave me an open lane sandwiched between two sets of young children. Out of 32 lanes, everyone was crammed into the last eight lanes all bunched up together. The other 24 lanes were empty on a day when no leagues were due to bowl per their website. Could I not get a lane without having to share the ball return with people that don't know proper bowling etiquette? It is customary to wait for the person next to you to take their turn so they have no distractions. This was not the case with both sets of people on either side of me, including the adults and the children. Then someone turned on the music on these large speakers mounted every ten feet or so. It was so loud people had to shout to be heard. I happen to be on a phone call and had to step outside the building to talk. I could not hear them and vice versa. If it was later in the evening I could understand but it in the middle of the afternoon. I wasn't there to party, I was trying to practice my bowling skills which takes concentration. I found it too difficult to concentrate with their blaring offensive music. Then there was the snack bar. It was closed! There were no alternatives. No vending machines providing liquid refreshments and a big sign on the door that said no outside food or drink is allowed. Is bowling a sport? Hydration during sporting events is not allowed here?I bowled four frames and left; never to return. I donated my remaining games to the children next to me."
