I love having all the different bbq sauces on the side to dip. The banana pudding always slaps! The potato salad is also really good. Not a huge fan of the Mac and cheese or corn bread. I've had brisket and pulled pork here too that was also really nice. It's not cheap, but it's totally worth it. I also feel like the sandwiches are a much cheaper way to get some great bbq!"

It comes with a lot of food.Their collard greens are one of the best I've had in my life and I've had plenty. Their brisket is amazing. They don't give you the fatty brisket they give you the good stuff. Ribs are also spectacular. Their BBQ sauce is on point. I didn't get it this time but their green apple slushy is pretty good also. Service is fast and friendly. They have live music some days which is nice. Thank me later because their BBQ will always bring you back"

We came in a Sunday morning and it took 30 min at least to get our food. We weren't in a hurry but it felt long, so if you don't have a lot of time you won't want to come during a busy time. Peter R. "Showed up trying to kill some time with a craving for a burger and a beer. Saw the menu and immediately changed my mind. There's a lot on the menu that sounded great but I ended up pulling the trigger on a house smoked reuben with fries. The fries are addicting. So addicting I considered ordering more to go but I couldn't muster up a way to reheat them without losing the magic. There's random sides of a potato mixed in with like what you'd see in waffle fries. Little treasures like finding an onion ring in your fries as a young kid. The reuben had the thickest cut corned beef I've seen. The beef is the star on this bad boy, not overwhelmed with sauce or kraut. I think the thick cut beef helps hold the sandwich together better since it isn't a mountain of piled up meat equating to a lopsided sandwich. The food came out quick. Fries were fresh af and piping hot. Definitely coming back. There is too much on the menu that caught my eye not to."

Others at our table seemed to have similar thoughts on their choices. Hometown restaurant feel that the locals seem to flock to, which is always a good sign. Our waitress was good and kept our coffee and drinks full. The other staff was pleasant and helped each other, which I've always noticed as a positive sign for any restaurant. Talia C. "This place is the real deal folks. I'm originally from SC and it doesn't get more down home cookin than this. And during the time of coronavirus, I can say it's a real treat that this translated in their takeout stuff - enjoyed at home 40+ minutes after it was hot off the press. We got way too much food bc we couldn't make up our minds. We got:- smoked chicken wings (a dollar a piece for the best wings I've had is a small, worthwhile price to pay) with hot bbq sauce on the side, - a cheeseburger that was old school in just the right way, - a ribeye sandwich that can be sandwich free if you just wanna get straight to the good stuff,- brisket (I don't even like brisket and this stuff was delicious)- turkey wings (these were a little dry to be fair but they're also dry rub and wet ribs are more my bag so I'm leaving this as the 5 star review Carson's deserves),- sweet tea (thank the lord I finally found sweet tea like back home),And 3 sides - baked beans + a pint each of the green beans and potato salad. As you'd expect, between 2 adults, a 5 year old, and a baby, there's a ton left over. I'm salivating dreaming of my leftovers lunch tmrw with the beautifully seasoned wings and green beans. There are other leftovers too but those ones stole my heart. Friendly service (one of the owners wore a mask, brought the food out to our car, and both of them helped us through our order on the phone like we were old friends) + amazing food + great prices = Is it too soon to order again?"

He was privileged enough to have his restaurant featured on Guy Fetti's drive-in diners and dives. One of the things they featured was a collard green grilled cheese. It was amazing. I have never had collard greens before so I thought I would try it, really really good and the bourbon creamed corn is one of my favorites. My husband always gets the meatloaf. Quinn L. "Walking into K-Town is like stepping into the set of a BTS video. Neon colors, flashing lights, and even statues of kawaii animals (perfect for a photo op!) Add some boba and endless beef bulgogi, and it's my dream come true!We planned to celebrate my dad's birthday at K-Town on August 24, and since you can't reserve tables ahead of time, we used the website to join the online waitlist an hour before our arrival. We did have to wait a few minutes for them to prepare our table, so we took that as an opportunity to peruse the merchandise. There were Hello Kitty-themed trinkets, little woven purses, and even a crane machine with stuffed animals! Everything was so adorable. I ordered a watermelon lemonade per the waitress's suggestion, and it was one of the best drinks I have ever tasted! It was so light and refreshing, and it tasted like real watermelon--not artificial watermelon candy. My mom raved about her "crazy fruit tea" mojito, which tasted as good as it looked! There are over 30 drink flavors/combinations at K-Town (not including the seasonal specials), so you really can try something different every time you go. Yes, the specialty teas/lemonades are a little pricey, but it's worth it for the Instagram photos alone! (Plus they are super delicious). I recommend adding strawberry popping pearls to any green tea- or lemonade-based drink. For dinner, we had the choice of Korean BBQ or Hot Pot, and we went with the Korean BBQ because it offered us more choices for meat. While we waited for our food, we loaded our plates with fresh vegetables and sauces (I tried the K-Town signature sauce, but there are instructions on how to mix your own flavor!). My favorite meat was the beef bulgogi with sautéed onions, and since K-Town is an all-you-can-eat affair, my family ordered at least 3 plates of it! Other highlights from the meal were the pork belly and the ribeye steak. We capped off the night in a very unique and memorable way--the robot "waiter" came and sang "Happy Birthday" to my Dad! It was such a fun moment for the whole family, and it was made even better when he was treated to a free oolong milk tea. I'm not the biggest milk tea fan, but the one from K-Town was much better than ones I have tried from other restaurants. K-Town Korean BBQ and Hot Pot became one of my favorite restaurants, and I already am planning my next trip!"

Ken N. "I've been following this place on social media ever since bookmarking them on Yelp. But because I live outside Indy, my schedule never had me in the right part of town on the right date. Fortunately, I had the opportunity to catch up with them at a Milkshake IPA party at Guggman Haus where BBBq was providing the food. So glad I did!The folks in the truck were cranking out the sandwiches quickly. I ordered the Chopped Brisket and the Ric Flair Sandwich. The sandwiches aren't cheap, but they don't taste cheap either. The brisket was not shredded, but somehow the large chunks of juicy (with a hint of char) beef mostly stayed inside the bun. The flavor? Excellent. They also have four kinds of BBQ sauce to add (a hot sauce, a sweet, a Carolina mustard, and a mango.) The meat has a lot of flavor on its own, but dialing it in with the sauces can really take it to another level. The Ric Flair was a pulled pork sandwich topped with a creamy, yet tangy coleslaw and sliced pickles. I have to admit that this one is messy. The thickly loaded sandwich is challenging to keep together and you may end up wearing a bit if you aren't careful. But the flavor? Again, it was delicious. Be sure to grab lots of napkins and possibly a fork because I am certain there will be some tasty bits that spill out onto the paper tray the sandwich is served in.Excellent food. Friendly and quick service. And I found out that they are getting close to opening their brick and mortar store in Washington Square Mall in the Fall of 2019. They will be on the northwest side of the mall building.I am glad I finally found a time and location for meeting up with this food truck. I am looking forward to the new stationary spot to open.Review #2901"

"This casual restaurant is famous for its various pulled meats & 6 types of BBQ sauce...but they have, hands down, the BEST french fries on earth (called Dippers) Dippers are a mix between french fries and chips with a perfect amount of salt and cheese sauce (if you are into that) The pulled pork and pulled chicken were the best meats. Brisket was darn good also...we did not try the turkey. Favorite sauces were the sweet BBQ, Mustard BBQ and Chipolte. We tried all of them on our napkin first but you really should wait to sample with the meats as the taste is so different. We were too stuffed for desert but they offeted sugar pie, chocolate key lime pie or bread pudding. One thing about service. We showed up 15 mins before closing. They also don't give you ranch with them. The coleslaw was not my style at all it's like they are trying to make it spicy or something. We will skip that next time.Mac n cheese was really good. It had the perfect amount of cheese and creaminess just needed a little pepper. The fries were good. I'm just mad we got them to go because fries are never good once you get home because they get soggy. He gave us 2 dips, I'm not sure what they were for but the both tasted really good. On this particular Thursday the restaurant decides to have a tent outside with a quick lunch line for food which is a great idea. So I paid my money for a barbecue sandwich. My 10 year old daughter ordered the kids 5 wings and went with boneless. She ordered teriyaki sauce to go with her wings. It was super nice that they served her fries and wings in separate bowls (iykyk). She said it was very delicious. She took some fries and two wings home as she was full from the meal. I ordered the 10 bone in chicken wings with medium Parmesan garlic sauce with a side of celery and ranch. I also ordered an half size of their highly recommended Cajun curly fries. I loved being able to add heat flavoring to my Parmesan garlic wings. They made my fries just the perfect way of well done and had Cajun seasoning but not overpowering. Ranch and celery were delicious. I loved my food wings were also crispy. The place was an adorable small town little restaurant with old license plates and signs on the walls. It is not very big however it was like I said an adorable little "hole in the wall". Service was wonderful my server checked on us often as well as another server (I did not catch the names). It is not surprising that they won the County's People's Choice 2023 award for best food.Don't let the appearance of the place fool you. The parking lot is a little muddy. The building is a little unwelcoming and the dining room is a little dark. But the aroma of the barbecue is intoxicating. They have lunch specials and daily drink specials on the menu. There is a full bar. The barbecue is prepared fresh daily. I ordered the Lunch Pulled Chicken sandwich with coleslaw side on the lunch menu. The chicken was moist and tender and so good. The slaw was fantastic...creamy. It was the best slaw I've had in Indiana. There were three barbecue sauces on the table and the Bourbon burnout sauce was incredible with a hint of bourbon and a little heat and not too sweet. Wow! So good. My husband had the Lunch Southern Pulled Pork sandwich with fries. The sandwich was filled so much pork that it was falling out of the sandwich. The tender, flavorful pork was covered with creamy Cole slaw. The fries were excellent, crispy and fresh. Lunches came with complementary biscuits and apple butter. The biscuits were hot and flaky. Very good. The hostess apologized for slow service because they were a little short staffed. We did not notice anything slow. Drinks and food came out quickly. The hostess was sweet and attentive.
