"Love bento boxes! This place gives huge portion and the amount of food you get for the price is *chefs kiss* Very delicious Mongolian beef, my partner had general tsos bento box that was also really good!I recommend coming here for dinner they also have sushi including sushi boat option, maybe we will try that next time"
"Don't let the unassuming exterior fool you, this spot has delicious dishes. You can sit in, but it's also a great place for takeout (I've done both)--one of my favorite takeouts in the Fishers area. Service is great, and you can tell they care."

"Ordered a veggie sushi roll and it was just alright. The ratios of filling to rice was off. It had enough rice, but little filling. The hot and sour soup flavor was good, but it was too thick for my liking. Food was provided promptly after ordering."
"Friends of mine who are regulars here told me about Kasi, so I gave them a try. They promised me that the sushi was fresh and well prepared, so I ordered online and went and picked it up. They offer delivery but I just can't quite bring myself to order delivery sushi.I got there several minutes before my order was supposed to be ready, but they were just packing it up for me. I'm always a little nervous about traveling with soup too, but the miso was very well packaged along with the rest of my order.Sushi was delicious as was the miso and the salad. Super happy with how everything looked and tasted... the only issue was no soy sauce or wasabi. I've since ordered from them again and I simply add a note to include wasabi and soy sauce and I've not had a problem since."
"Nice Sunday lunch spot, stop in and enjoy the food. Parking is not terrible and the prices are good for the amount of food you get. The service is like a fast casual restaurant order at the counter and find your seat. Enjoy!"
"Love the ramen here! This is in a large strip mallarea off of smith valley & 135. I always order the ginger tea and usually, the ramen but this time I ordered the Pad Thai. The dish had a sweetness that I didn't love but didn't make it unappealing. My daughter ordered her regular chicken katsu ramen and dove in with reckless energy. We also ordered the scallion pancake which was a big win! I will continue to frequent this location but plan to return to my regular order. Give it a try if you're in the area!"
"My eyes are watering and my mouth is on fire....but a good fire. The Spicy Shrimp with Vegetables is HOT but delicious! The Hot and Sour is serious HOT but also delicious. We ordered the lunch specials. Soup or Eggroll and Entree now $8. It was a lot of food. Entrees come with white or fried rice. The vegetables (carrots, peppers, onions) were sliced julienne and fresh. The soup had lots of fresh mushrooms. Both were favorful and HOT.We ordered to go. Food was quickly prepared and service friendly. Meals came with a fortune cookie, of course. There is plenty of parking in the strip mall and all accessible. I'll be back. Love the heat."
"I would give them a 3 but I didn't get hot pot. I got the all you can eat sushi. The ordering process was confusing it also took a long time to get the sushi. I ended up just getting it off the buffet. They were very busy I just think they need more people at the buffet. The guy at the buffet was doing noodles and sushi. Overall the prices are pretty reasonable they had a ton of toppings for hot pot. Half I didn't even know what they were."
"Short story: I cringe when a place does multiple Asian styles. It usually means they do none of them great, maybe all mediocre at best. That was my expectation for Basil, but they quickly dispelled that assumption and have become our go-to Asian food haunt...including sushi and some mean cocktails. Maybe grab a drink, as on to the long story...We first dipped our toes by trying safer fare such as their Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles, which were certainly tasty and warranted a need to try more of the menu, though not the best of those dishes we've had. We have since tried more exciting dishes such as the Spicy Peanut Curry dish, which is now my fav - nice heat, flavor, and great portions. The curry and peanuts combo is just hard to beat. My wife now really enjoys the Spicy Garlic Chicken, but her absolute favorite main dish when we're splurging is the Korean Sizzling Steak, and I concur. It's almost more of a Mongolian Beef (which they also have and is solid) meets premium Asian steak dish like a Thai Crying Tiger - highly recommended. We also love some of their apps. I am not a fan of Crab Rangoons but love theirs and my wife (who loves Crab Rangoons) is addicted to them. They're more like triangle pockets vs the traditional rangoon shape, with fantastically crispy yet chewy dough and what must be a lower cream cheese ratio because I normally don't like rangoons because of too much cream cheese. The Egg Roll great too, as are the Bon Bon Shrimp (when ordering in, to-go they get a bit soggy). I like the Thai Rolls, but my wife finds them to be a bit too meaty and dense. We usually love pot stickers but theirs are strangely more European dumpling like in shape and dough - not fans. Our other love at Basil is their sushi - a total surprise! We used to live in the Pacific Northwest and had access to world-class sushi that's more focused on the fish rather than crazy assortments and sauces on fried rolls. The Cincinnati metro area is more focused on the latter, which is not our preference, but Basil has a great assortment of both including many fresh fish rolls like their Basil Special Roll, Summer Roll, and (our favorite) Rainbow Roll. Surprisingly good quality of fresh fish, though we tend to stay with the tuna focused rolls and the salmon can vary. The best part? They do half priced sushi on Wednesdays (of a limited menu)! On that note, they have specials nearly every night of the week.Another surprising aspect of Basil is their cocktails are fantastic! A huge list of affordable yet unique and well crafted cocktails, including seasonal/event-based special cocktails. I struggle to choose but often go with their Blackberry Bourbon Smash, while my wife usually gets their current variation of the Old Fashioned. They typically have a solid craft beer offering too but the servers rarely know it well and the list is not easy to find/see. But the cocktails are so good that I say save beer for somewhere else.Last but not least, the spot is cool with the book-clad walls by the booths. Definitely get a booth if you can, which sometimes requires a reservation, as the tables can be awkward. They also apparently have an event/music venue upstairs as we've heard it but have never been. Service when eating in has been really hit and miss, usually more on the latter unfortunately. That and the non-booth seating are the main reasons for the 4 stars, along with a few food misses. But hostess staff for to-go have usually been great.Phew, that was a long review! But Basil is quite the complex place with many layers. Definitely recommend, as we certainly frequent it, but keep in mind some of the nuances noted, as this is not your typical Asian restaurant."
"On Monday's, Bibibops offers special pricing (20% off) on meatless bowls. I've become addicted to those bowls, which are filled with great fresh vegetables and proteins. This location in Carmel, is in a popular and crowded shopping area at Springmill and 116th. We were fortunate to find parking and there was no line when we arrived. The service was quick and friendly. We ordered bowls filled with our favorite fillings. I absolutely love the pickled onions. The curried chick peas are good, too. And I tried the Yum Yum sauce, which is mild. We discovered that there is Miso soup available near the drink station. The soup hit the spot on a cold day. This is a great and healthy meal for $8 on Mondays. The dining room is clean and modern with flowers on the tables. There was a steady stream of customers and delivery services picking up bowls. Meatless Mondays are popular. I'll be back and I recommend. Healthy and delicious, what's not to love."
"Had a totally vegetarian meal while my friend was visiting town. We shared samusa, Burmese tea salad, tofu salad, pea fried rice with egg, and curry with tofu. I'm not a vegetarian, my friend is, but I loved everything. It was all flavorful and the textures were good. Service is friendly and quick as well. I wish it was closer to me, I'd go all the time."
"Felt like I should update this since it's been four years. Asian Grill used to be one of my favorite restaurants, and it's definitely still good, but just not the same. They've completely redone the entire concept. No longer a sit-down, waiter-comes-to-the-table situation. Now you order at a counter, or even at a kiosk, and you go up to get it when your number is called. This has all sorts of ramifications...smaller menu (many of the best items slashed, like avocado soup, samosas, etc.), no ability to subsitute things or ask for things to be left out (they will tell you no). Theoretically this is supposed to make it all go faster, since one of the common complaints with the restaurant before was the slow wait time. My parents said they've been there a few times since the remodel and it was quick, but last night we went and it was not very fast, so makes me wonder whether the conceptual change accomplished what it was going for.Food is still good, I just don't feel strongly about it like I did back in the day. Partially because a lot of new, great restaurants have come into the area since the years when I frequented Asian Grill (~2013-2015ish)."

I frequent bento cafe but recently ordered take out from them for the first time. First off, I think their online ordering system is so easy. I like that I don't pay until I pick up my food, it's just easier that way. Service is wonderful as always The food this time around was good and meh. I got the General Tso's chicken bento box. It was delicious! I was worried the portion size may not be the same as in-restaurant but it was! My fiancé got the Chicken Pad Thai and that is where things fell short. The noodles were bright red, covered in seasoning, but there was absolutely no flavor. Very strange. The noodles were also extremely dry. I only live 20 minutes from the restaurant so I am doubtful the car ride caused this.

WOW, we were blown away. The atmosphere and music is great but the standout is the impeccable customer service experience. This is what one would expect at a fine dining destination, not something you would ever encounter in a strip mall. The service is old school and you really just have to witness it first hand to have any idea what I'm trying to convey. On to the food; LOTS to choose from whether you are in the mood for Korean, Thai, Cambodian, Chinese, Malaysian or Vietnamese. We had the crab pasty puffs (aka crab rangoons) to start. They were good and accompanied by serval sauce choices. Secret menu item is EGG ROLLS, we chose the chicken egg rolls and they had more meat in them than we had seen in a very long time, in fact maybe of all time. They were excellent. We had one medium and one hot Korean Crunchy Beef (A+) a Princess Beef (A+) and a BibBimBop Bowl also an A+. This was our first trial visit, we will be back.

We topped in here at around 6pm in early December, after a long day of Christmas shopping. We were pleasantly surprised at every aspect of this visit.Food: The rolls and soup were very good. Better than average.Service: Our drinks never ran dry, even when they started getting really busy.Ambiance: They have a lot of interesting decoration inside, which adds a little something to the experience. Tables & booths were spacious.

Don't be intimidated by this location or the front of the restaurant. Staff is super friendly price is right and they have a great menu. I had the what I thought was the best Lo Mien I had ever had in DC last year. The Lo Mien here is neck and neck with it. I got the extra spicy option and I'd say it was 7/10 on the spice I was a little nervous at first but I think mild wouldn't have been enough for me. Ginger dressing on the salad tasted homemade. Entire meal on the lunch special was $14. Definitely check this place out if you are near or even far make the drive!

I did not expect such a great option for Asian food in this little restaurant! The options are amazing and the prices cannot be beat. There is also an authentic menu available with a ton of options in addition to the main menu that already has a host of choices. I ordered the orange chicken bento box, which came with orange chicken, fried rice, crab Rangoon, an egg roll, & a California roll. SO much food for about $12. I couldn't even finish it and had leftovers! It was all so delicious, too. The other options looked so yummy too. Their sushi rolls are massive and pretty cheap compared to other places in the area. I would definitely recommend!!

Tried this place last night due to other reviews I seen... It was so many options of dishes and sushi to chose from so I decided to keep it simple and order the Combination Fried Rice. This rice was so fresh and packed with fresh garlic and ginger flavor. The meat was so tender and seasoned to perfection... The Yum-Yum type sauce they give is also tasty... I went 30 minutes before they closed and the dish was still fresh and delicious. The staff was very friendly upon my arrival. I would definitely try again. Next time I want to try a signature sushi roll and the teriyaki salmon bento box.

So fresh and yummy! I was passing through on my way back to Chicago and was happy to find this place for a quick bite before we hit the rode! The prices were fantastic! Especially compared to Chicago-- $14 for both rolls. The tuna was incredibly packed, and the bites were huge. The shrimp tempura was also well fried, and had two pieces of shrimp in it which was incredibly generous. The hostess that took my order was great, the vibe inside was dark and cozy, and they made my order super quick! I would certainly be a regular if I lived in the area.

Today, my FDD and I decided to take a road trip for lunch. Yes, that's right, we drove almost 2 hours just to eat at Homey. You know how people say that some of the best places to eat are in the plainest buildings? Homey could be the source of that saying. But inside...inside is a huge buffet of deliciousness. What a cool concept. Your choice of soup (broth, mostly) is brought to your table and placed on a burner for you to cook the meats and veggies gathered from the enormous buffet. If this is your first time here, be forewarned that it doesn't take long for your food to cook once the soup is boiling. While the chicken was extremely tender, my veggies were almost too soft to eat. I've never been accused of being the greatest cook at home, and now I've proved at I'm not much better at cooking outside of it either. Haha. Come hungry, drink the broth, leave happy.

"Service was friendly and attentive. Food was just okay. No other customers when we arrived at 5p, but quickly filled up. They have a large menu with a lot of variety. Something for everyone, including a kids menu."
"As always the food is delicious, service is excellent and the restaurant is always clean. Great place to meet friends. Priced right and convenient location."
"Love the atmosphere and vibe of the place, I always enjoy Taku's food, they have so many options! Service is alright, everyone is very nice and accommodating. The Mojitos are fantastic 10/10, Godzilla Roll 10/10 had so many different flavors! The Chicken Katsu 3.5/10 I wasn't so impressed with, like it's good but it's not almost $17 good lol I will say. Lots of other things I could say since I've been here many times but I would recommend Taku if you're just a curious person who likes to try new things or likes Japanese cuisines, I always try something different when I come here and almost always I love the dish they bring out."
"Best crab Rangoon around! Amazing egg rolls, food and great, probably the best Chinese delivery in the Carmel/fishers area. Good sized portions and food has always been delicious each time I've ordered. Highly recommend !"
"Great place to hang with friends or for a date night. It is a neighborhood type of spot, nice and intimate with substantial seating indoor and out. They also have TV's running. I didn't smoke a cigar but I did have the Steak Sliders and Fries with an Agave Margarita (I think that is what the name of the drink was called). Just ask for the cocktail with the agave. It was bomb.com. The food was a win as well. I will always return to this spot when I want a chill spot to hang. Please remember you will smell like a cigar when you leave even if you don't smoke. It doesn't bother me but it could for others who may have somewhere else to go before heading in. And no I don't have photos..I ate and drank before I realized it. Don't be mad at me. ;)"
"The sushi is absolutely delicious at Takumi Sushi Hibachi. This little locally operated Japanese diner is located in a newer strip mall in Whitestown. (Takumi means artisan in Japanese.)You order at the counter then find a seat. The menu has an extensive selection of rolls. They also offer hibachi meals and bento boxes. They carry mostly Pepsi beverages with a few miscellaneous drinks such as Red Bull and sparkling water. There is no alcohol. For lunch, they feature sushi roll with miso soup combination. The freshly made rolls come out fairly quickly. The miso soup comes out hot and delicious. The sushi is presented beautifully, served with wasabi and pickled ginger. The Fire Cracker roll is spicy hot and delicious, my favorite of the Classic rolls. The cream cheese soothes the heat from the jalapeños perfectly. The breading is delicious on the roll. The Spicy Shrimp roll is also delicious with a perfect amount of spicy heat. The Shrimp Asparagus roll is a wonderful combination of fresh and tasty....a favorite. They have seven tables to dine-in but most people order delivery."
"I love the sweet&sour chicken from here! The staff is always very efficient and polite"
"This was my first visit to Thai Thai Cuisine on West 86th Street. Parking was easy with the numerous spaces in the strip center. The lunch special has 19 entrees to select from at $10.99. Meat options include chicken, beef, pork, tofu and veggie. Shrimp is $2.00 extra. Lunch specials include an entree, a large bowl of soup, salad and one egg roll.I ordered my favorite, Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Chicken Noodles) at a medium heat level and was not disappointed. My beverage, Sweet Thai Iced Coffee was excellent and had a small, cute paper rose in the tip of the straw. Beverages served include Coke products, hot or iced teas along with Sweet Thai Tea, Sweet Thai Coffee, or Coconut juice. I received excellent service and had a very pleasant lunch. The atmosphere is laid back, quite with a nice decor. I'm already making plans to return this Thursday."
"We were craving some Chinese food on a road trip, and randomly Googled for locations near our route and came up with this spot. Ordered pork lo mein, general tsos chicken, some crab rangoons, and some chicken sticks. The food was all pretty solid, service was quick, and prices reasonable. No complaints!"
"We met an out-of-state friend for dinner and landed here at the half way point. The town is super cute, but save the sightseeing for after dinner, you will want to get here early. The location is Teeny tiny, with only a handful of booths but does not feel cramped once seated. It seems to be a family business as their sweet little children were playing in the booth closest to the kitchen and helped deliver sodas at times. The ambiance was laid back and comfortable. I've never been to a Japanese restaurant and was excited to try something new. We got crab Rangoon appetizers and they were consistent with any other I've ordered. We ended up trying the hibachi meal that comes with soup and salad. We tried Miso Soup and our friend substituted clear soup. I've never had Miso soup so don't have anything to compare it to but it was DELICIOUS! And the salad was a small portion with a delicious dressing. No idea what it was but I loved it. I was worried I'd be full from the soup and salad but the food took a LONG time to come out. We were not in a hurry and had plenty of time to catch up. When the food came out there was so much!!!! And it was SO good!!!! I got the filet, my fiancé got the strip steak and our friend got chicken. All were equally delicious. If it would've been proper I would've licked the plate! Even thought this place is two hours from home, I would make the trip again. When we left they were packed in line with people waiting. I can't wait to try something new."
"After coming to the Indy Winter's Farmer's Markets on Saturday mornings (which is a good market by the way) Healthy Soul was the one that drew me in. I saw a sign for potstickers either chicken or vegetable as a special they had. You got 6 potstickers with yum yum sauce and a sauce that was drizzled over the top with green onions and cilantro to top it off. Those were the BEST potstickers I've ever had! They were delicious! They were crispy on the top and had so much flavor! I don't know if they serve those all the time. I hope they do or if they don't I hope they keep them on the menu. I've had the bourbon chicken with jasmine rice also and it was very good also. Healthy Soul is located in the AMP and is right next to The Beast. They have lots of great food options to choose from. I will definitely be back for potstickers!"
"Favorite local Asian takeout! Portions are large, meals are always fresh, and the egg rolls are the largest and best ever! My favorites are the steamed dish options so the sauce comes on the side."
"Gosh, with all these 5-star reviews, did we pick literally the worst day to come here? Don't know, as we have no interest in returning.I tried ordering what I thought would be a fresh and healthy poke bowl on lettuce. Wish I could have better seen the ingredients behind the glass, because I would have aborted that idea. The lettuce was iceberg and ironically swimming in water...I watched in dismay as the worker had to shake off the water, but not hard enough because plenty made it into my to-go box. Next up, some of the most disgusting avocado I have ever been served - more brown/gray than green (thankfully was not an extra charge). And then finished with weirdly cut sticks of onion and topped with "spicy" mayo that was somehow less spicy or flavorful than just pure mayo. At least the salmon wasn't as terrible as everything else and didn't give me any digestive issues like I feared it would, but did not warrant a return visit either. The salmon ended up being the only thing I ate from this "bowl".Service was ok, but a little slow. We received a free $10 gift card for our next visit, but even that won't have us returning (my wife's teriyaki chicken was underwhelming too). I have no idea what world we entered versus the other reviews here, but we won't chance it again."
"This is a fun fast casual spot serving delicious Asian fusion. We walked in and were immediately greeted, so automatically we felt it was a welcoming environment. We bro see the menu which is both displayed on boards behind the counter as well as in a paper option at the register. They have ample seating with the standard table and chairs as well as a fun space for photos and swinging chairs (think Insta photo). They have sushi, bowls, pho and a variety of other options as well as sharing space with a cake bakery. I'm not sure how that all fits in but as we were there for lunch we didn't try the sweet treats this time.I ordered a veggie bowl which had a variety of sauces, but was able to make it vegan which is always appreciated. They don't have any vegan pho or ma y other vegan options, but this is a good spot for a quick rice bowl meal if you are out and about. My friend got the Pho which she said was amazing and definitely worth returning to get again. I do wish someone would come up with a vegan based Pho as they are delicious!Overall the flavors were good and satisfying and the service was wonderful for such a casual spot. I would go back if I needed a quick meal and was in the mood for a rice bowl. I do think they should put on a few more veggies as it was mainly rice in my bowl, but the rice was delicious and with enough sauce it felt more of a meal.Definitely worth a try!"
"Stopped in the other day for lunch. I went with the orange chicken and a pork eggroll. There's a kiosk when you walk in where you can order but we had sat down and had our order taken by a server. I would probably use the kiosk next time simply for ease. The orange chicken was really good and was a VERY generous portion. It ended up being two lunches for me. The pork eggroll was one of the better eggrolls I've ever had in this area. This place is a hidden gem and I definitely will be returning."
"I love this place, the food is amazing and they are reasonably priced. Hard to find a good Chinese place, this one rocks!"
"This restaurant is delightful. It's become our go to for sushi. There's so much to choose from. We've had different sushi rolls every time we've visited, and they've all been tasty. The rolls taste fresh and are full of flavor. I was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary soup and salad. It's a rarity to get that anymore. Service is always spectacular. They're kind, and you get your food quick. It's in a strip mall, so the outside is plain. But the inside is lovely. I always look forward to my next visit!"
"Bibibops are popping up all over town. This location in Whitestown just opened last week and today was my first visit. They serve healthy Asian inspired build-a-bowl meals. You walk through a series of gluten-free options starting with a base of greens, rice or noodles. (The noodles are made of sweet potato's.) then you select from a series of warm options, cold options and finish with a protein. Price is dependent on the protein selected. My server, Alan, walked me thru the options to build my custom bowl. The bowl is ready in less than a minute! I selected a lettuce base with chick pea curry, Brussels sprouts, a fabulous pickle onion, kimchi, carrots and topped the bowl off with Korean bbq made from beef brisket. The ingredients were flavorful with varied degrees of spicy heat. The spice levels were perfect for me without added sauce. The curry was tasty and the bbq was tender and juicy. I loved my bowl. I especially liked being able to select ingredients that fit my diet. The dining area has an upscale vibe with six long tables. There were fresh flowers on the tables, probably from last week's grand opening. The dining room is clean and tidy. The manager came over to my table to chat and see if everything was ok. On Monday's, they offer special pricing on Meatless bowls. There was a kid's menu, as well. If you sign up through their App you can get a free bowl and receive other offers (I opted out). I did have issues finding my way into the tiny strip mall. There is a single narrow entrance in the back that also serves as the exit."
