"Woodland Springs is a great place to live. The units are spacious, the pricing is very affordable for Carmel, and the location is great (116th and Keystone). The office staff and maintenance team are always prompt to respond to inquiries or service requests. They keep the grounds clean and well-maintained.I have given them lots of odd-ball requests, and they never have told me no. Very accommodating and friendly people. The residents are overall pretty good - no wild or loud tenants. They vet people thoroughly before they approve their application, which I like. Very quiet, safe, and peaceful here."
"Beauty and the bats?!?! (A review of Penn Arts)Historical art deco charm is fun to live in until....At times I didn't have heat. When this happened I cited Indiana code to management about why it's illegal to not provide heat to tenants. Didn't do much good other than they brought me a space heater. Ummm, isn't it dangerous to leave those on all day when you are gone??? I also have two cats that might want some heat. They take away the internet once included your fixed utility fee... without changing the amount of the fee.The free laundry suddenly turns into coin operated. You are consistently accosted by people in the parking lot asking for money. Yep, parking isn't gated and you share it with the businesses. They no longer hold packages for you at the office, even though your building isn't secure in the slightest! There's a bar on street level and anybody can waltz right up the stairs and to your front door. NOT SAFE IN MY OPINION.Per above comment, also had drunk people roaming the halls, making lots of noise. Fun times.I have about 20 other complaints but my biggest one is...My last week living there I was walking down the stairs. Stepped onto a floor and turned left into a hall and directly in my line of sight... a bird?? no.... a bat! A real live, potential rabies carrying BAT flew right by my face! My neighbor, whom I was headed down to see, called maintenance. Their response was 'We have bigger problems right now'. BIGGER THAN A HUMAN GETTING RABIES. OK.Next day... I spy on Facebook a picture a neighbor living directly below me had posted. It's a picture of a bat clinging to a chair in their living room.Do not be fooled by the building's charm, the concrete floors, or the fact that you will have a coffee shop/bar so close you'll start to feel it's acceptable to show up in your pajamas....Think of what makes you feel safe. Look for those things in a place to live.P.S. Bat bites are hard to detect. Rabies treatments are not usually covered by insurance. Also, I recommend doing research on surviving rabies if bitten."
"This apartment complex is beautiful, modern, and affordable! There are a variety of floor plans that will suit your needs. The amenities are exactly what we were looking for! Best of all, the management and leasing office team are friendly, helpful, and supportive as well as their maintenance team. I'm so glad I took the time to thoroughly choose a place to live because I love it here!"
"I've been here for 6 months and have not had any major problems. Workout facility is nice. The maintenance staff is efficient and speedy with repairs. Everyone in the front office treats us well and promptly resolves any issues."
"Currently living here. The valet trash is a little ridiculous, $25 a month plus a fee to the trash company. Usually around $3. You pay utilities, and a utility billing service fee around $5. You also pay an account setup fee when you first move in of $15. Not to mention the rent is fairly high. The apartments are nice, the grounds are kept up. Maintenance team is EXCELLENT. Nicest guys around and have your issue fixed within 48hrs or less. Wish we had the option to skip valet trash. The pool is nice, they have grills. Sometimes they are working, sometimes not. This is our first apartment experience, so we don't have a lot to compare it to. We like that it is a smaller community. Lots of dogs, and people walking around all the time. Don't usually hear any barking/see or smell poop. Pros: -nice apartments, granite counters, spacious, nice layouts, nice community, smaller size. - very close to 69, easy to get places. Cons: - if you come home late you are going to be parking a ways away from your apartment. Parking is very limited. -have to pay for someone to pickup your trash at night by your door (could be a pro for you) -seem to have extra hidden fees they don't tell you about up front."
"The best apartment I have lived in in Indianapolis area. The apartment homes are spacious, stylish and well maintained. Electric bills can be high in some units. But overall very happy. The costs are comparable and even on the low side of the market for what you get. They are very dog friendly with a bark park and many dog waste stations located throughout the community. Great location for families or for those relocating or between homes. Great location on the northwest side and easy access to downtown. The only negative is there is a lot of construction on the Whitestown/Zionsville exit off 65 and traffic can be heavy trying to get to the highway."
"Love the canal. Workers keep it clean, and there's always something to look at and enjoy. Whenever there is an event going on they will dye the canal. Love feeding the ducks and looking at the koi fish. Anybody who lives in Indy should visit the canal Atleast once."
"Overall I have had a good experience. I love how quiet it is where my apartment is located. I enjoy the pool and the gym is so so. Maintenance has addressed most of my concerns in a timely manner. The have increased the rates every year so if that continues I will move. The parking is decent. I wish there was a recycling option. The apartment is decently spacious, I have a washer and dryer, dishwasher and walk-in closet!"
"My wife and I just recently moved out of Barrington Estate Apartments after about a year of living there (Went to a different city). Overall, our experience was ok for the time we were there. The biggest factor in moving there was the price. Based on their current rates, I think we just got lucky and were able to move in during a low in rent prices. We stayed in a 2 bd 1 ba townhome for about $630. This was the lowest we found in the area and there were some good reasons why it was so cheap. The apartments themselves are very dated. I believe the property was built around the 50s or 60s. It doesn't appear much updating has gone into them. We had a couple issues with the apartment during the time we lived there, both of them involved leaking water. The toilet on the first floor would leak constantly. It was fixed in a reasonable amount of time. The 2nd issue was with the washer drain on the 2nd floor. Apparently there was an issue with a pipe fitting on the washer drain and water started pouring into our downstairs hall closet. Nothing valuable was ruined, but it did start smelling pretty bad. They were quick on stopping the leak, but not on fixing the water damage. At the time, I didn't care when they repaired it as long as we didn't have to pay for any damages. We just didn't use that closet anymore. It took about 2 months for them to send someone out to fix the dry wall in the closet and we weren't charged for any of it (thankfully). We really didn't have any issues with anything else in the apartment. The bedrooms were decent sized and it was nice having a little fenced in back patio area. The complex was fairly quiet and we kept mostly to ourselves. Every once in a while we would have neighbors playing music late into the night during the week, which was frustrating, but it didn't happen too often. When we first moved in, the roads in the complex were full of pot holes. It was bad enough to the point where you would let other cars pass you so that you could get around them. When we moved in in June, management said the complex would be paved in August. Well, August came and went. So did September, October, and most of November. They paved in late November I believe, which seems like a terrible idea and it was. There were days when they had to stop working because it snowed. They did eventually get it paved and everything was fine. There was a lot of turnover in the leasing office so it was difficult getting anything accomplished unless you talked with the Property Manager, who I will say was very nice.Overall, I didn't mind living here. It wouldn't be my first choice, but for the right price we made it work. It is in a great area. You have really quick access to 465 and Meridian. Castleton is only 15 minutes away and on a good day you could get downtown in 25. I would've given Barrington a 3-star rating, but I bumped in down to 2 based on our experience with the final bill. We were separately charged by Barrington for gas usage the last month we were there and this was taken out of our deposit. This should not have happened as we paid for gas and electricity separately and Barrington billed us for everything else. Well they claimed they received a bill from the gas company on our apartment even though I was able to supply them with our gas bills for the prior 3 months, it was never given back.I don't think I would live here again, unless it was a necessity. However, Barrington did serve its purpose for us and I am glad we were able to find a place that inexpensive."
"I moved in about a week after they opened, and I really love it. I moved to Indy from San Diego, and I really wanted to be downtown/Mass Ave, etc. Unfortunately, after looking at 14 places in a single day, the only places I kinda sorta liked on my househunting trip were all up north (not that there's anything wrong with that, Carmel soon-to-be pals... It's just a long commute and I am more of a city girl after 10 years in NYC/Boston). Just before I got in my rental to head back west, I checked Craigslist and saw the listing for Harding Street Lofts. It was on my way to the airport, so I stopped by, and promptly fell in serious like. After looking at the four remaining apartments, I immediately put down a deposit, hopped back in my rental and headed back to pack up my life in San Diego.HSL is in a former factory, and the apartments have the classic loft-style high ceilings and exposed beams. They have real partitions, though, so a two bedroom has doors and walls and a feeling of privacy, which I like a lot better than the giant, cavernous spaces I've seen in other oft apartments. They have full size washer/dryers, too, which is a big plus. My favorite thing, though, is the outdoor space: one cute little courtyard with tables and chairs, and a bigger courtyard with a outdoor tv, bocce court, fire pit and a couple of grills for the community to use. The building management has also been awesome so far: really friendly and responsive. The only con is really the neighborhood, if you're looking for someplace within an easy stroll to bars/restaurants. It's "downtown close" (a half a mile west of the zoo), but not quite downtown. It's a converted factory, so the area is industrial... right across the street from IndyGo, and close enough to the train tracks to hear the whistles of the freight trains passing by (soothing if you're a hobo). But it's really easy to get anywhere from HSL: five minutes to downtown/ Mass Ave, ten to Fountain Square, ten to the airport. It's a great place to live!"
"Overall, I enjoyed my experience living at Stadium lofts. Here are my overall highlights:Pros: I love how efficient it is to pay rent through their online portal. I also love that they offered a free workout class every week to residents! It is very cool to be able to hang out on the baseball field during the summer nights and play frisbee. When living here, I appreciated the outdoor living spaces, grills, and free parking. Cons: There are loud college students everywhere. You will hear frat boys blaring their music. You will also see the college kids taking over the patios on the weekend. One time, I forgot to lock my door and some boys opened the door to my apartment (so scary). I think this place is okay to live if you are a young adult or still in college--but not if you are looking for a restful retreat."
"I have lived here nearly 6 years and never been late with my rent. This recent snow blocked our road. Lions Creek took several days to plow which kept me from paying my rent on time. They charged me $70 extra for their mismanagement!"

I have lived here for 3 years and I have enjoyed every moment of it. The management staff is very professional and attentive to any requests you may have. They do go out of their way to make residents feel welcome and try to have community events which is very appreciative. It is located in a good school district and their rent is Affordable.

My first year at The Courts of Monon was just fine. Affordable, cute interior, quiet. After signing my second lease things went downhill. The clientele that begin moving in was questionable. At one point I found out my neighbor had armed robbery charges. The walls are super thin so noisy neighbors make relaxing in your apartment unbearable. Management does not visit the property often. Our trash dumpster was always being moved to inconvenient locations and trash and dirty mattresses would pile up (awful in the 90 degree heat). Air conditioning cannot keep up. Maintenance puts band aids on for fixes or gives excuses if they can't fix something. Little ventilation in the apartments and they are the first apartment I've lived in where I've found mold. Office takes days to reply to anything and they do not communicate with each other. Most of the time I lived there, empty apartments would get filled super fast. When I moved out there were several apartments sitting empty. Started well but aren't taken care of properly and they are raising the rent almost $150 a month!

I've been living at R56 for over a year now and I have been very satisfied. They maintenance has always been prompt and thorough. The staff is very much on top of things. The individual I've been working with is Kiley. She's been awesome. The facilities are super. For gym rats like me, they have free weights and not just machines like every other place I've tried. And they have a new pool going in. Love living here

just a heads up if you're interested in a walk-through: call ahead & make an appointment, rather than walking in. maybe then you'll be treated with a little more politeness. my fiancé & i stopped in on a friday afternoon (well before the office closed) & were immediately asked if we had an appointment. we explained that we did not, we just simply wondered if there were any units available for rent. we were ushered to a table to fill out an info card & were told that someone would be with us shortly. a few moments later, a new woman approached us & asked us to explain what we were looking for. we only had two requirements: rent at a certain price or below, & a certain move-in date. we had no preference on amount of bedrooms/bathrooms, didn't necessarily need a washer/dryer, & didn't need a garage. she took our requests & stated she'd check the computer & be back with us. a few minutes later, another office worker entered the office & went to speak to our lady. quite a conversation ensued, which involved our lady angrily gesturing to us several times (while also making eye contact with me...awkward). over 15 minutes later, she finally rejoined us with one unit available to see. clearly she was in a hurry, as she sped ahead of us in her car. once we walked into the unit, she didn't even bother to "sell" the place or point out features, she just stood at the door while we walked around. we felt it was a beautiful space, but that the bedroom size wouldn't work. we expressed this to her & she explained that there would be a new unit available a few weeks later with a significantly larger square footage AND cheaper price. of course, we jumped on this & asked what we could do to get it locked down. she stated that she would email us pictures of the unit (my email was listed on the info card that i initially filled out) & then we could begin the application process. once we left the building, she hopped into her car & once again, quickly sped away. i briefly got lost just trying to find the office, as she left us in the dust. she had just made it into the office by the time we pulled up, & she met us with our id's & a promise to email me. think i ever got that email? nope. never heard a word back. fine by me though, not interested in living in a community that's run by snobs.

Imagine.. it's 8 am in the morning. You gotten out of bed. Taken a shower, brush your teeth and grabbed your coat and head out the door to go to work. Only to be shocked that your car is gone. Yep! this happened to me. I just moved to the Revel on the Cumberland January 22nd 2020. I was so happy to move here at first. I loved the layout and the location it was in. I have only been here for 4 weeks and let me tell you what they don't tell you when you about to sign that lease. My car was parked out front of my apartment and it was towed from "Indy Finest" which the IRONY. Any-case, I had my permit in my dashboard. I didn't have it stuck on the window due to me getting a new car in a few weeks. So put it on the dashboard. It fell into the top of dash board. I didn't noticed it till I came from the towing place. Today 2/20/2020 is when it happen. I went to the office and they was closed all day. I had to call the emergency maintenance to find where my car was. The office people is no help. They told me that there is parking spaces when I have moved in.Guess what ? That is a lie. I live on the first floor. I can hear my neighbors in the morning, mid afternoon, evening, early morning. The apartment complex was so quick for us to sign the lease they failed to tell me where the mailbox is. Failed to tell me who and when trash is taken. I only found out through looking at my neighbors. My bill from this month is 200-300 dollars. I have been many others apartments this one is the most expensive apartment I have ever lived at. No LUXURY HERE!!!! I really had high hopes for this apartment complex. I was excited to move to Fishers. The location is the best but besides that.... I will not renew my lease.

We moved in to Westhaven in January. Upon moving in, our cabinets were completely torn up from the last renter. It looks as though the complex tried to cover up these damages, but never truly fix them. It is almost end of April and we still haven't had our cabinets replaced, despite multiple phone calls and emails. We also found water stains/possibly mold inside one of the cabinets. Additionally, our dishwasher had a strong smell of mold coming from it. It took about 4 different work orders for anything to be done to fix this. Our dryer takes more than one cycle to completely dry any kind of laundry load we put in. We've called and put in orders regarding this, however, no solution. Our windows are currently leaking a yellow/brown fluid anytime it rains. Taking into consideration how many issues we've had upon our arrival, rent is still absurd for the lack of quality. Energy bills run about 200-300 per month, but that might be from the fact our dryer doesn't actually dry clothes on the first round and our windows are leaking. Overall, I most definitely WOULD NOT recommend moving in here. We plan to leave as soon as we possibly can.

I lived in Canal Square for a year and was overall really happy with my choice to be there. The location is amazing. It is a short walk to restaurants and bars downtown and it is right next to IUPUI campus and the canal walk. I love to go on runs and found that there were really nice options right around Canal Square-- I could run around IUPUI campus, I could stick to the canal, or I could head up to the White River area. I lived in one of the updated 2-bedroom apartments. The kitchen had just been redone and had new counter tops. The bathrooms had also been updated. There was a washer and dryer in the apartment and those were clean and quiet. The apartments were well cared for and the complex was secure. I do wish there had been a system to buzz guests in the complex--especially in the winter. The online system for payment and maintenance requests was easy to use, safe and efficient. Every time I made a request for maintenance in the apartment it was completed that same day. This apartment building is relatively quiet-- I rarely heard neighbors. However, the canal is not. I had a window right along the canal overlooking the steps leading to the building. People would sit on those steps or allow their children to play in the small water fountain on those steps. I would hear people out there talking and laughing through the night and really early in the morning. It was obviously worse in the spring and summer when the weather is nice and more people hang out along the canal. My roommate and I loved when it rained because people wouldn't stop under our window and we got to sleep! Overall, I would recommend this complex. It is reasonably priced for downtown living, well-maintained and the location is excellent.

I moved here from a totally different city, so was pretty nervous to just tour random apartments. Up until I came to Avery Point the process was overwhelming. After touring their different layouts I decided to go with AP apartments. My apartment was clean and ready to go on my move in date. I feel very safe here, the staff has always been friendly, and the maintenance usually comes to fix stuff the same day I file a request. I have nothing negative to say

"Moved my sister in here and this seems like a fine place. The apartment was in good condition except for the windows! They were popping out of the wall with noticeable gapping. She is "on the list" for replacements, but I can't imagine what her utility bills will look like."
"We being here just a few months with my family, but personally I really enjoy my time in the apartments, from friendly and problem solving office staff, followed by the maintenance guys as well, also my neighbors are super nice and friendly too. I don't have any complaints at all about the Buffalo Creek Apartments."
"Situations always change for better I think ..so now we are looking for short term lease and this property offers a lot of options starting from a 2 months lease going up to 15 I think .. . Went today to tour the property and look around if I would like it ...in short.. Looved it ... they took all our needs into consideration and helped us . Provided us with all the options matching our needs ... Lexie was really wonderful and helpful . Not only did she show us around but was very accommodating when we told her we wanted to look at more options .I will update more as things move forward .. for right now it was a good tour thanks to Lexie ."
"My wife and I moved to Solana in July of 2019 and have been pleasantly surprised at the quality of this apartment community in Indianapolis north side. The office staff have been wonderful to work with not only at the time we moved but also with their kind assistance with repair services, package delivery and making us constantly feel welcomed. The apartment buildings are very well constructed and minimize noise from adjacent units. Our apartment has a fabulous view over a lake. The company made certain to leave adequate green space in an open meadow and the water to not block our view. Thanks to Shana and Kathy for helping us enjoy our home at Solana!Sincerely,Michael Conly, AIA Architect."
"I want to meet the governor so I can ask their permission to make it legal for me to marry an apartment complex. Then I'd get a hot air balloon, land it in front of the front office, hop out in my dapper new tux, get down on one knee, and ask 82 Flats to be my bride. That's how much I love living here."
"I don't usually don't write reviews, but when saw that 800 Caps Management had received some negative reviews I felt I needed to share my experience as a resident at 800 capital I have lived here almost 2 years and have been given nothing but excellent customer service every single time I have had any interaction with the Property Manager Marshall or his staff. I have lived in many downtown Indianapolis apartments but this one I feel is truly home, besides loving my apt and the building itself having Marshall as a property manager makes living here the best living experience I have ever had he's so friendly and helpful goes out of his way to drop off packages I don't even have to ask him he just does it. He is so quick to respond to any verbal work orders that I might put in on my way in or out of the building. 800 Capitol overall is an absolutely wonderful place to call home what puts it over the top is having Marshall as a property Manager that's what puts 800 Capitol in my opinion as the number one place to live if you want to live in a luxury apartment in the heart of the city!"
"Indy flats has been an experience,I've been with them for a year, you should be aware that some of he apartments are income driven and others are not. Shannon the leasing agent I was with was very helpful as I was moving from out of state. The only issue I had was they calculated my income with the possible overtime that can be available but not always given for every week of my paycheck putting me above what I actually make per week. At first they had no apartments for that income bracket available and I arrived to Indy essentially homeless. Shannon however was able to find me a open one the next day. I was very happy with her work on that. I however had to get a side job just to afford rent and pay my bills. When I moved in the elevators were down constantly, I had to move a majority of my stuff by stairs in 90 degree weather. However, I know a few parts were hard to find (old elevators) and now the staff responds quickly to outages and most days they are running at the max of 24 hours after being down. The place looked really outdated and the halls smelled from the old carpets too, this was updated in February-ish and the place looks much nicer, cleaner and more charming. It has a very nice historic feel now. They frequently are doing something to help improve the place such as, adding pet waste stations, redoing the garden plants, fixing the boil room and now we have maintenance staff clean the front entryway once a week. They have also put in new doors and keyless entry which has greatly reduced the number of homeless and random people who were entering the apartment. Upon moving in I noted that my apartment didn't look like it had gone though the general maintenance most go through or cleaning due to dust on the floors and corners plus a dirty bathroom, I caulked it up to my quick move in. You are allowed to customize your apartment as you please as long as you "reset" before you leave. I've never took up this offer. The apartments do not have air conditioning. You will need to get a portable one for your room. They are on steam heat which is nice but I had issues with the wind sucking the heat out of my apartment in the winter. I had a few emergency maintenance issues and they were handled in a few hours. The area is okay, next to the children's museum, but it has a certain amount of sketchy-ness around it. I've had my car broken into twice, packages stolen and my bike that was locked stolen. For packages I would use the front office address and pick it up from there. The parking in the lot is tight and it does need fixed. You can also rent garage space which is secure and a bit more spacious. Free road parking is available but can "fill up" quick and some cars have been badly damaged by street traffic. They do accept pets and have a huge amount of space for my dog to run and play which was a major plus and greatly needed. On top of it all they have kindly let me extend my move out date 6 days, due to a few issues with moving to my condo, which was not only greatly appreciated but something they did not have to do.All in all it was a good experience and they are improving on a lot of aspects I believe. I also think they do care about their tenants in some aspect and have gone above and beyond in my experience."
"I am 6 months into my year lease, and I am very happy with my decision to choose Penn Circle over many other Carmel apartment complexes. The apartment I live in is spacious with great windows and a patio door that allows for good amount of sun light. The entire staff of Penn Circle led by Missy is friendly and attentive to any needs that might arise. They treat the renter like "family" and not just another renter. If you are looking to rent in Carmel, you will not find a better deal than what you can get in this complex. Shopping and entertainment (some in walking distance) all close by makes Penn Circle a very attractive option for you."
"This is a decent place to live for young people new to Indianapolis. I lived there temporarily during an internship, and tons of people I met at work lived there, so it was super convenient for meeting new people. The apartments themselves are pretty nice - relatively new but nothing too special. Any Waverly staff I dealt with was extremely nice, but I mostly talked to the company that found me the place through work, and didn't deal with the actual landlord/staff much. The location is close to downtown, but BEWARE! It's feet from train tracks frequented by SCREECHING FREIGHT TRAINS 24/7!!!!!! Also, ITS RIGHT NEXT TO A HELIPORT. Please, please at least look more closely at google maps than I did before moving in. I cannot stress this enough. Waverly would be a really lovely, livable place for young people who want to be within walking distance of downtown, but the train literally rattled my windows at night. Another strange yet valid complaint: this complex is REALLY jammed in there. The people who laid out this place were like, "OK, how many apartments, parking lots, and garages can we fit into the least amount of space without having to build over 3 stories? Average car is 5 feet across? Let's make the garages 5 ft 5 inches wide." Seriously, the streets, the garages, the hallways, the stairwells are all so cramped. I had to carry my groceries in front of and behind me in order to walk down the hallways. Oh, and no elevators. #lazypeopleproblemsOtherwise, the pool and grills have a pretty great view of downtown, the crappy little gym isn't anything special but it gets the job done when it's cold outside."
"I love my apartment very peaceful . Desiree hhelped me very fast and she was very nice. The other front office ladies and staff were extremely nice as well."
"I am a wanderer, a modern day nomad if you will, and I have lived in several spots in this city in my relatively short time here. But until now I have yet to find a better place to live, then my current digs at Somerset Lakes. The place is amazing, it is pretty large, but manages to feel rather cozy and local. The neighbors are great and I even have a guy in my quad that has been there for 12 years, if that doesn't speak volumes about this place, I don't know what will. The kicker? Every apartment has a lake front view! There is a huge lake that spans throughout the complex and with each and every apartment there is a sweet view out over the water, great for sunset watching. The lake is available for boating, however if you want to swim you'll have to stick with the freshwater in the pool and skip that lake smell that some of us adore. A awesome gym, tennis courts, and basketball are all great ways to get in shape. Oh, and as for other fun things to do, for those with a green thumb there is plenty of space in the garden area, designated for the residents to get out doors and plant some veggies or flowers, whatever your hear desires. The staff is very friendly, and it doesn't seem fake like some places I've lived. The whole community is gated off and has a very safe feel, and for my money I need to feel safe. Another great thing that may keep me at Somerset for a while is the quick access to everything you need. Minutes from Broad Ripple, Keystone and Castleton, I never have to hike the ol' Jeep very far, which saves some bones on the gas.I like it here, and I like it a lot, if you don't mind spending a little extra for a classy comfortable place to live, then pony up to Somerset and check it out next time you're due for a move."
"I've lived at CityWay for 2.5 years and counting. My favorite things are the proximity to the YMCA, the community garden, and the regular resident events. The amenities are so extensive from a gym with pelotons to a dog wash station to the sports simulator. Price and value of a unit is similar to other downtown apartments (Artistry, The Grid, Congress at Lib Square, Ardmore); however, I think CityWay's amenities and proximity to Fountain Square outshine the other complexes. CityWay is right on the cultural trail. If you're a light sleeper, please consider your unit's proximity to the train. For resident events, we often engage with local businesses like Taxman, Nesso, Plat 99, Java House, IndyHub, the Colts. Living at CityWay comes with discounts to many local businesses. Maintenance and office staff usually reply same-day and certainly within a couple days. The maintenance staff is friendly and even knows my pet's name. If you're a Lilly employee, the access to parking at LCC is fantastic. CityWay is the perfect location to host friends before Colts or Pacers games. My advice before choosing a unit is to look at your closest parking. Some buildings have parking underneath, attached, or you may have to walk outside to your garage. The package room is secure. Having immediate access to Qdoba, Yolk, and The Alexander is great. CityWay has a variety of balcony sizes if outdoor living is important to you, and the building have 40 different floor plans to suit your needs."
"We have lived in Dakota Ridge for over four years now. In that time, the quality of the management has declined quite a bit. We have had lots of maintenance issues and often it takes three or more requests to get problems fixed. Usually the staff doesn't repair anything until at least a week after you submit a request. Sometimes it takes months. Our air went out one summer and we had to repeatedly call about hot air blowing out and they weren't addressing the correct problem. It's pretty ridiculous. Three times our rent check has been lost or our bill wasn't the correct amount. Sometimes we don't get a bill in the mail at all which would be fine except water is included in that bill so it's not a set amount each month. The dumpster has been a real issue and breaks quite frequently, resulting in piles of trash all over the sidewalk and parking lot. They've just started valet trash service, which was free but now costs $15/month on top of a trash fee we already pay.In the workout room, the breaker trips and I've seen people running on the treadmill nearly break their necks. Staff just shrugs and says they are aware of it. Updated: after two months of them getting our bills wrong again (happens all the time) I have downgraded them to 1 star. Live elsewhere. Can't wait to move out."
"I lived here for two years and just recently moved due to buying a house. The prices are reasonable for the area and you will not find a better apartment community anywhere. The pool is fantastic and the close monon access can't be beat. I loved living here. The buildings are a little older, but every maintenance concern was addressed in a timely manner. Plus they are pet friendly!"
"If I could give this place 0 stars I absolutely would. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!!!! They may seem nice & so convenient with it being located near everything, but it's not worth it. Absolutely terrible management (Jessica & Jill). They don't care about their residents & are very spiteful. They cheaply renovated the apartments and raised the rent to ridiculous amounts. We thankfully got out of there & the place was left with 0 issues. We paid our last months rent & they failed to give us our security deposit & claimed there were "unpaid balances" on our account. They were shitty people to us the entire time, especially when our home was NOT livable due to pipes bursting & caused us to be out of our home with 0 compensation for 40 DAYS. Jill said we wouldn't be compensated because she offered for us to break our lease, DURING WINTER TIME. Why do we have to sacrifice even more just to get out of their hair? We wanted OUR HOME to be fixed, but they continued to take their sweet time & claimed they were "going in order". This place is absolutely terrible & they can't keep management around. The only good thing about that place was Carolyn & Sterling. Poor Sterling worked by himself and tons of overtime when the pipes burst & they didn't even give him a raise. Piss poor management, piss poor company, and I hope people look at every review for this horrible place before they even think of renting there! Do yourself the biggest & best favor ever and DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE."
"Not sure if these apartments were under different management when previous reviews were written, but honestly, I have had my most positive apartment living experience here. I have lived in TGM Autumn Woods for the last 2 years, and management, office staff, and maintenance team members have almost all remained the same. I think that speaks volumes. Many of them live on the property as well.If I have a maintenance issue, when I call, someone is at my apartment within the hour. ALWAYS. Terry, the manager, has even made personal phone calls to me to make sure everything was taken care of. While these apartments are a little older, they are well maintained and neighbors are friendly. I haven't dealt with sound issues or drama from neighbors. If I wasn't moving out of state, I would re-sign my lease for a third year. The only issues I have had are limited availability of parking in front of some buildings at night and timeliness of snow and ice removal on sidewalks after storms. Other than that, I have been very pleased with this living experience and I have lived in several apartments in several states over the last several years."
"Chelsea Village is the first place I have ever lived in Indianapolis. I'm from Bloomington originally and moved here in July 2017 when I was forced to switch jobs. At first glance we (husband and I) loved what we saw. We had looked at at least 10-15 other places and felt comfortable enough with this one to sign for a one bedroom right away, which we hadn't felt with anywhere else. The staff was friendly and the grounds themselves are well maintained which is always a good sign. I knew that once we settled the new location/new home fascination would wear off, and it did, but I'm still super happy with this place. There have been issues (me and a couple of my neighbors were robbed in late 2017 but nothing like that has happened since. (I think whoever did it either got caught in another area or spooked by the on-site sheriff who lives in the apartments.) It IS Indianapolis though and break-ins happen everyday everywhere. The staff did replace my door that was kicked in and the locks smashed off with a more sturdy feeling door and installed stronger hardware. I don't particularly like going outside alone at night, but that is pretty much everywhere in Indy for me as I'm 5'2" and not exactly strong. I do have to leave the house at night alone sometimes of course though and I've never had any reason to believe that anything bad was going to happen and have never had anyone bother me. They have a clubhouse with the usual things and a pool, but neither is open 24/7. This doesn't bother us because we don't really have any use for it anyway, but if you are the type who needs amenities galore it's better to look somewhere closer to downtown in student living. The community itself is very quiet which I love and I've never had issues with noise from anyone- even though it's literally the 4th of July today! It is also kind of hidden off of Emily Drive in its own little neighborhood in a way and I like not being on a main road and that the community is separate from others (Pickwick is the community beside Chelsea and it's a dump but they are separated by a gate and some space.)Maintenance is good. We haven't had many problems but the ones we have had were resolved promptly. The maintenance supervisor is super nice and friendly (although I've forgotten his name) and is fun to talk to and usually hanging around. Management is really responsive to requests and emails (I haaaaate talking on the phone so I communicate pretty much only via email to them unless I come into the office) and they haven't seemed judgmental when we've paid our rent late when we were struggling a lot- still friendly as usual! They seem like genuinely nice people. I don't know about the corporation as a whole, but Justin and Mindy are the managers here and are both awesome. The apartments themselves are well maintained and I have no complaints at all with them. The walls aren't too thin either which is nice because I've had that issue with a lot of other apartments in the past. Our A/C/heat works great too and is central air. I may add more later because I'm starting to ramble but I really like it here and would recommend it to anyone with or without a family who wants to live within the 465 loop but feel like you're living outside of it. Neighbors pretty much keep to themselves and a lot of them have young children who take the bus to school, so it's definitely family friendly. It's also less than five minutes from Walmart, two minutes from Kroger, and it takes about 7-9 minutes to get onto the interstate from the parking lot! The main reason I am leaving is to be closer to school so I don't have to drive an extra hour everyday. If my situation changed in the future I'd definitely have no qualms about moving back and am sad to leave. Definitely recommend!!"
"There are a lot of issues with management and communication. The actual apartments are pretty worn down and older inside. Edward Rose would be smart to renovate a bit with all of the competition so close around. The price is on the lower side for Carmel but still obnoxiously high for the quality of the apartments. I'm in a two bed two bath first floor and I can hear every single noise. I can hear people's conversations and my main door rattled every time someone enters or exits the building. I understand apartment life is apartment life but with many many management issues and the low quality of the actual apartment, I will be moving once my lease is up. The area is extremely safe! Great location right off of 31 and with lots of restaurants coming in nearby."
"The apartments here are old and a lot of things need work on. A common complaint are the baths/showers the quality is very low and have had to have multiple replacements. They do have nice amenities like a free annual carpet cleaning, and very good customer service. You get what you pay for even though it might be a lot it's just about the least expensive in Carmel."
"Shout out to my first-ever apartment in Indianapolis. We were so excited to live downtown for a year and ended up snagging the first room we toured at the Artistry. We only lived here for a year because it's super expensive and your girl's gotta save up, but it was a good time while it lasted. Pros and cons below. PROS:- Located steps from Public Greens, Orange Theory, City Market, the Original Farmers Market, Mass Ave, Bankers Life and Monument Circle- There's a beautiful rooftop pool with a great view and fun seating- There's a nice gym where they'd host some free workout classes and I got to meet some friends by attending them. - The apartments themselves are nice looking - The walls are pretty thick, as there seemed to be a lot of parties happening in the building, but we never really heard any of themCONS: - The pool is always a partyyyyy. Think: people taking shots, flirting everywhere, posing for IG photos. Not my thing, as I'm more of a "bring a book and read quietly" kind of girl at the pool. - Parking is super expensive and if you don't pay for the incredibly expensive option, you'll park in an open-air parking garage across the street, which I didn't like having to walk through alone at night. - Skyler at the front desk rocks, but unless you went in to talk to him directly, calls or emails would sometimes just not receive responses. - It's sooooo expensive to live here. We couldn't justify it for longer than a year.Hope this helps give some insight into what it's like being a resident here. We lived it up and walked to every downtown event and local business during our year there and now enjoy a bigger apartment with green space for a cheaper price elsewhere."
"These are great apartments in a great area. The maintenance and office staff are always friendly and quick to respond to any issues. I have loved my time here and will always recommend it to others. A great place to call "home".The grounds and facilities are kept clean, sidewalks shoveled and salted during winter by friendly courteous workers. The workout rooms are open 24//7 are rarely crowded and the pool area is lovely. I love the convenience of the car wash station."
"Decent apartment complex near Keystone area of Indy. When I lived there the apartments were brand new, so they were very nice. Could be loud as is typical with open air hallways. Balconies are small. Bedrooms are big."
"I have a friend who lives here! It's super cute and updated! I love the attached garages and the cabanas at the pools! If you're living in the Zionsville area this is the place for you"
