Buffalo Creek Apartments - Indianapolis

We being here just a few months with my family, but personally I really enjoy my time in the apartments, from friendly and problem solving office staff, followed by the maintenance guys as well, also my neighbors are super nice and friendly too. I don't have any complaints at all about the Buffalo Creek Apartments.

Buffalo creek has been around for 30 years. It's a beautiful complex with lots of nice views, walking trails and amenities.

We got moved in on such short notice and so fast thanks to Jacqueline and Rachel's help. We had to change moving plans last minute and they accommodated so quickly and efficiently and got us moved in to our favorite place we've lived! We love the landscaping, layout, and friendliness of the neighborhood. There are groundkeepers who do a great job at keeping the are clean and beautiful. Our apartment came with updated stainless steel appliances and the maintenance team is always quick to respond to any issues we have had. We will be happily renewing with this complex. The only complaint that we have is that the dumpsters get too full too fast, and people drive too fast throughout the neighborhood.

This has been one of the worst places I've ever lived. First off, the apartments are entirely too small to be paying such a large amount of money. (They told me the rent was going up when I was moving out!!) outdated appliances, ugly kitchen, my dryer barely dried and I've read in other reviews that they have had the same issue. You can hear your next door neighbor and your downstairs neighbor ALWAYS. I had to have a fan constantly on. You can hear every car coming and going from outside. The noises are endless. My first neighbors below me were crackheads fitting like 5 people at a time and were terrible. They were eventually evicted which is hilarious to me because the office charged me double the deposit because of a joint court case against my subleaser FIVE years ago. You read that right joint case as in my apartment complex at the time and I sued my subleaser together because I had already payed for all of the back rent and damages that my subleaser caused MYSELF. SO these dimwits in buffalo creek office couldn't read a court case correctly and still charged me double the deposit after I read it to them and explained it. Then my new neighbors moved in and smoked pot constantly. I complained to the office multiple times and nothing was ever done. I came to blows with my neighbors and things were resolved quickly about the weed (they cut back and didn't realize it was floating upstairs) but we realized that the walls and floors are so thin that my walking upstairs sounded like running/abnormally load and vice versa. So we weren't being rude neighbors but the apartment was at fault for having terrible insulation and walls! A couple of weeks before I moved out, they called to say they were bringing in a contractor to inspect my apartment after a neighbor complained about their unit. They couldn't tell me why or what was going on. So I was home when this inspector came. AND HE WAS LOOKING FOR COCKROACHES BECAUSE MY BUILDING HAD BECOME INFECTED. He said he wasn't supposed to say anything or else the tenants would get pissed and call the office. Luckily I didn't have any UNTIL my last week there and one crawled across my bathroom floor! Also the piping sucks and the toilet would constantly clog from a normal amount of toilet paper. My neighbors had the same problem! So I move out expecting to get my entire deposit back minus damage to the blinds because those suckers could not stay up or not break (super cheap!!) then I get a letter at my new apartment saying they are taking my entire deposit (and remember I payed double) to replace the carpet. WHICH WAS IN PERFECT CONDITION WHEN I LEFT. And that I owed $25 more dollars. I will NOT be paying that extra amount of money and I have sent the pictures of the carpet the day I moved out and the cockroach picture I took to my lawyer who is about to serve them. I'm tired of crooked apartment complexes taking advantage of people. So I suggest if the owner reads this, you give me back my deposit you took to replace the carpet for no reason or I will see you in small claims court. And this review is going on every single review website and app so everyone is warned. I'll be posting the cockroach photo to Yelp as well. Do NOT let the nice pool, amenities, apartments they show to the public and ponds fool you! My friend is also moving out of this apartment complex and she's had the same problems stay away!!!

Buffalo Creek Apartments contracts a tow company called Hadley's, and during the one year that I've lived here this tow company has stolen my car from my apartment's parking lot TWICE. So far it has cost me $300 to ransom my car back from the tow company, on top of lost time and wages. BCA refuses to reimburse me for any of this.After the first time my car was stolen, I was assured by people at Buffalo Creek's office that I didn't do anything wrong, that it was completely fine for me to park there, and that they would talk to the tow company to make sure this didn't happen again. Well it turns out Buffalo Creek was lying through their teeth because now my car's been stolen a second time (on new years eve!) and they tell me there's nothing they can do. Avoid Buffalo Creek Apartments at all costs!

I absolutely love this complex, from the maintenance staff to the office. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I have been on-site for a while now and the upgrades are wonderful. I cannot recommend Buffalo Creek more to anyone looking for an amazing apartment. Great community, and good value.

Used to love living here. But management is very rude and disrespectful. All our neighbors have dogs and they refuse to pick up their dogs poop. Of course we got blamed for it and made to pick it all up or be kicked out.

Lots of amenities, upgraded units available and friendly staff! Buffalo creek has 1 and 2 bedroom floor plans ideal for first time renters or anyone looking to downsize from a home. The property itself is kept clean with a maintenance staff that has maintained the property together for over 7 years. Apartments are available in base models and upgrades and lots of features offered individually that fit somewhere in between!

I had an appointment set to apply for an apartment and got there on time.. was stopped and stared at ..the lady that came to assist me gave me a look of disgust and then tell me the apartment I was coming for was already rented... within 30 mins... smh ok

I have lived here two years, the first year in a one bedroom I had no issues other than them charging me for things upon move out that didn't need to be charged for. I then moved into a two bedroom and have had nothing but problems. Toilet has never worked, came to fix it but never did. My AC is not working and they came and looked said it should be better by morning but of course not. Sleeping in 85 degrees is not enjoyable for anyone. Windows don't lock, doors shut terribly, basically everything thrown together and honestly is not fit to be rented out for the price I'm paying.
