If you were fortunate enough to snag tickets for Into The Woods musical performance at this wonderful playhouse you know what I'm talking about.This first class production was amazing! Every attention to detail was seen in the costumes, the set was awesome, the actors were flawless with beautiful voices, and a wonderful live orchestra provided the music. Good news travels fast - every show was a sellout.The venue seating is nicely tiered so there is not a bad seat in the house. Very reasonable priced refreshments are available for purchase and there is plenty of parking. Keep an eye out for the entrance sign, it's tricky to spot.I have been here 50 times over the years for various shows, including some plays that my granddaughters have been in, and have volunteered to usher. The local talent is always top notch.Buck Creek Players is a not-for-profit organization, run by volunteers, and they are are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year.Buckcreekplayers.com accepts donations online, offer internship programs and memberships, and have an exciting new season coming up!

The Buck Creek Players is a great little community Theater tucked away on the South East side of Indianapolis. Unless you were looking for it, like me, you might not know of it's existence! I went to see Little Women musical and the cast did a wonderful job. Even though I have seen the story many times I was still drawn in to the story. The actors played their parts well and left me laughing several times. I followed my GPS to take me there and once I got off the interstate I noticed a few small signs to direct me further. Make sure you pay attention to where the turn is into the Theater. There is a sign, but my GPS did want to take me a tad further on the road. The building sits alone and just looks like a warehouse. There was plenty of parking and no traffic to get there. The surroundings inside were comfortable as well. They do have a small selection of snacks if you want some thing to munch on during the performance. The seats were comfortable and they offered one intermission. The cost of the performance was $20 which was very reasonable. You can purchase your ticket online and show them your ticket electronically. When I arrived at the ticket counter they were very organized and I just had to give them my name. This was their 48th season in production and it appears like they perform Six shows in the season. I will definitely be bookmarking this place to go back for the next season

I've seen a few really great plays here in the past couple of years. It's high quality ... the sound system is great and the actors give it their best. Prices are reasonable, and you'll probably be very surprised how much you're drawn into the scene. The volunteers really are passionate about quality, and they are nice and fun as well. A very cute little barn theatre with some of the best people I've worked with. Did a production of Rocky Horror there and had the time of my life!

Okay, I am biased. In reality this place is probably a high 3 or 4, but I grew up here acting and I still love this local theater and their close knit tribe of loyal followers.It's an older building, the stage is okay and there isn't a ton of space, but they are creative with the money they have and do a lot of hard work with every performance.The performers here, truly love the stage and the theater life. It is volunteer run, so in this aspect it deserves a 5.

Buck Creek Players, while being an all-volunteer community theater, produces wonderful high-quality productions that rival many professional theatre's around town. They choose fresh and new pieces (comedic, dramatic, and musical) which are always welcomed in this world of multiple productions of "Annie" and "Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat." Admission is highly affordable and well worth it. Check out their next production. You won't regret it!

It looks a little like a warehouse from the outside, but it's actually a very charming community theater. Pretty spacious with nice seats, although the lobby gets a little crowded. The production values and the cast were both excellent, although I didn't care much for the play. I would most definitely return. Very easy to get to from Indianapolis.
