I was waiting for my flight to Atlanta for New Year's Eve and wanted to grab some lunch, so I decided to go to Bub's Burgers for a sandwich. The line was not long, so it took me just a few minutes to wait to get to the counter. The young gentleman at the cashier took my order and he was very professional and courteous towards me. I wanted the Bub's Portobello sandwich but they were out of it, so I settled for the Bub's Chicken Sandwich and a side of crinkle cut fries. The order took a few minutes and I picked it up from the young gentleman. The Bub's Chicken Sandwich looked good and it did taste wonderful with decent flavors. The texture of the bun was just right. The crinkle cut fries were nice and hot and tasted delicious. They were a little too salty for my taste, but they were still very good. The ambiance is not much to be said since it's located in an airport and it is basically a vendor. The vendor did look nice and had other options for purchase such as cookies, beverages, etc. Bub's is definitely a great burger place and a sandwich place to grab a quick bite to eat while waiting for your flight. I have not been to the restaurant in Carmel, but I do hope to go there for lunch or dinner with friends in the near future. It was a nice lunch and I'm glad I stopped by.

TLDR: Surprisingly great food with questionable service. I'm already a fan of Bub's, as it's a true staple in downtown Carmel and was one of the only restaurants there for years. My friends have all attempted the Big Ugly challenge and I'm cheering this restaurant on forever. I was so excited to see them in the airport and when our plane was delayed due to storms, we immediately headed over there for dinner. We got two burgers and a side of crinkle fries. The fries were amazing - hot, salty, and crispy, served in a cup. The burger was delicious too - huge and with a really soft, delicious bun, fresh toppings, and hearty patty. I know Bub's is good but I can only imagine that it's hard to keep quality top notch when operating out of an airport, so I was thoroughly impressed as to how much we loved our food. Great job y'all!Only thing to work on would be the staff. Whoever was taking orders hadn't written anyone's names down, so the woman at the counter was yelling out to a large group of people waiting for their food things like "who ordered the burger without cheese? anyone? anyone?!" over and over. It didn't seem like they knew who any of the orders were for and made me start to distrust this team handling food too. Maybe that's why I was so surprised at how tasty it was. The people waiting with us for their food were all looking at each other with surprised eyes at how disorganized it was. A few people left the line too. If they tweak this, it'll be a top operation!PS: They also offer GF buns!

Worst service and sandwich ever. Ordered the egg bacon cheese sandwich. Got to pay $13.07 for this inedible creation. The bun was huge, charred and had the consistency of rubber. Had to discard that, which left me with an overcooked egg which was also quite rubbery, a half a slice of bacon and about a quarter slice of cheese. The sliver of bacon and the cheese were delicious but not very filling at all. Also the price still irks me

I had high expectations for Bub's having been to the Zionsville location several times. I ordered the burger and a drink. I wanted the elk burger but they didnt have it that day so I got the regular burger. While it was still quite good and tasty particularly the bun, the patty was quite well done and not very juicy. Again it wasn't bad but not quite as good as the main one. Also I honestly didn't realize the fries don't come with the burger so I sadly looked in my bag and didn't have them until I realized they are separate.

Nice to have a Bub's at the airport as a good option. I had about 20 minutes before my flight boarded. I wanted in line but there was a large group of customers waiting for their food so by the time I got to the front of the line I decided that I didn't have enough enough time to wait for food so I just ordered a fountain drink. There is a kiosk where you can order which has a separate line. It was a little confusing as both lines kind of merged together and some customers were trying to get to figure out which line they were in.The server wasn't friendly or helpful, but rather abrupt. I'd like to get food here when I have more time available. It looks like it takes awhile to get your food after placing your order.

If you love Bubs Burgers in Carmel, do yourself a favor and pass this place by. I feel bad for the owners who probably don't realize the damage this is doing to their brand. The service was terrible. They were out of Breakfast, they were out of Elk, they ran out of of Burgers, they ran out of Chicken, the food took over 20 minutes and was cold when it came out. I love Bubs Bugers, and this place made me so sad. I was in town for a short trip and when I saw they had a Bubs Burgers in the airport I decided to not try and squeeze in Carmel into my trip. HUGE mistake on my end. Do yourself a favor and skip this place.

I recently visited Indiana for the first time due to my job assignment, and I must say, I thoroughly enjoyed it. On the day of my departure, I had some time to spare at the airport (you can do that at this location because it wasn't busy). I don't take smaller airports for granted. Living in a city with an extremely busy airport makes you appreciate a more relaxed environment. Anyway, I knew I wanted to grab a bite to eat and was in the mood for a really good burger, so I decided to try Bub's Burgers. There was a line, so in my mind, I was thinking, "This must be good...lol." My sister was traveling with me, and she ordered a chicken sandwich, while I opted for the single patty burger. We also shared some fries. They prepare your food fresh to order, so there was a short wait. I think we waited for about 15 minutes before they had our order ready. Okay, so let me tell you, this burger was amazing! The bread was buttery and toasted to perfection. The burger was a 100% meat patty, not the fake stuff. I only wanted cheese, mayo, and ketchup (I mean, really, that's all you need on a burger), and the cheese was melted to perfection. The burger wasn't sloppy; it was well put together. I asked my sister how she liked her grilled chicken sandwich, and she loved it. The chicken was juicy and not dry like some grilled sandwiches. The lettuce was crisp, and the sandwich was delicious. As for the fries, those were excellent too! Well-seasoned but not too salty (some places don't know how to do this). I am looking forward to going back to Indiana and visiting Bub's again. If you find yourself at the Indianapolis airport and don't know what to eat, Bub's Burgers is the place to go.

This is the best place to get a burger in the Indianapolis Airport. They cook-to-order and will let you know that it will be 10 minutes. You'll note that the bun is toasted, and the lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles are very fresh. They don't use cheaper iceberg lettuce either. The ground chuck had a nice flavor and paired well with the other ingredients. The fries were not hot or fresh, and tasted as if they've been sitting around for a while. Final note, the burger and fries were $16.33, about 30% more than I paid yesterday at Shake Shack. I rate Bub's Burgers at least 50% better than Shake Shack.

These are probably the worst fries I have ever had. I fly into Indianapolis monthly and decided to try a different burger place, this time I only got fries. Wow was that a mistake. They are so burnt that it's kind of hard to bite into it. The picture makes them look better than they actually are. I would have gone back and had them remake them but I did not have enough time before I needed to board my flight. I will be calling when I land and demanding a refund. Needless to say I will be sticking with Shake shack from now on.

$13.50 for a breakfast sandwich and it comes with less than half a slice of bacon. The young lady at the counter was friendly but that's about the only positive.
