I would 100% recommend this tour. We did the Saturday tour (because who doesn't love some day drinking) The bus picks you up at Scotty's Brewhouse. Get some carbs in you before you start your adventures! Our bus driver (Chuck Taylor) was fantastic. He let us know the rules - what you can and can't do - bring beer from one brewery to another etc... He also provided us with cups and waterTip: Brink snacks on the bus! You will appreciate some pretzals or snack mix after your 3rd stop!We always got a heads up on time and distances. He helped us connect our music and made sure everyone was in good spirits at all time. At each stop we got samples of beers, and enough time to order a pint or fill a growler for later.Tip #2: Don't be afraid to split a pint with a friend - the breweries were happy to give us each a cup to split it! Otherwise you are drinking a lot between beers at the brewery and your beers on the bus!I would 100% recommend this especially if you have a group that all want to try some new brews!

Wonderful experience! We rented out the whole 21-seater bus for a surprise bday party. Our driver, Mr. Chuck Taylor, was an absolute blast! So sweet and great personality. Our tour started late but it wasn't a big deal--they had a little issue with another bus. The first bus we got on was kind of plain but we switched to "our" smaller bus and it was so much cooler! The inside had lights that changed colors along the top, the front and back of the bus had 4-seat tables on both sides with slots for your drinks. The breweries were a lot of fun--Metazoa even had a round of flip cup for the group. We will definitely be doing another tour with them in the future. *you can request a certain driver--I highly recommend Chuck Taylor!

One word: Communication. We booked this tour for a friends birthday on a Saturday. We arrived at 4:00 at three Wisemen as we were instructed to do, and no bus to be found! We waited and waited, time kept going by... We called every number listed for this place which stated it was open and continued to get the voicemail. Finally, at 4:21, the bus pulls up. We get on, and the driver quickly says she thought the pick up was downtown and is sorry. That's it? Why couldn't she have called us and let us know, or even called Three Wisemen and had them relay the message? Oh well, we are off. We arrive at the first brewery and are give no instruction on what to expect from her. Oh well, Bier took over from there and it was great. Another complaint of how many people were on this bus. We were a large group- 12 of us. In my opinion we should have gotten the bus to ourselves instead of squeezing another group of 6 on there. If I were just rating the breweries it would be a different story. The samples and beers were delightful. End of story: do the brew bus tour instead of this one. The driver and company is all around way better.

My wife got us a tour and they are very friendly and tolerant of the intoxicated. Would do it again in a heartbeat. And will in a few weeks.

Great bus! Rosie is a fun driver. The seats are cushy and the AC keeps you cool between breweries. There's a big old U shaped couch at the back of our bus that seats up to 8 or 9. This bus seats 21 and I've seen bigger ones around town. Fun way to kick off a bachelor party and meet new people who also like beer!

Did this tour for my birthday & had an ok experience. Driver was 15-20 min late and we were told the time would be made up, it wasn't. The brewery's were completely different than what our schedule had said. It felt rushed and unorganized. I had fun being w friends but wouldn't recommend this specific Company/Brewbus to others. Kinda wish I would have checked out Indy Brew Bus, but now I know.

Overall, the 4 of us had a good time but this outfit could really enhance their business with some easy opportunities and put themselves above their competition. So, just to say it out loud this is NOT a tour of Indy breweries - this is a bus that is your designated driver taking you to some good breweries. We really liked their brewery choices and the people at these breweries were very nice, accommodating and let us try as many beers as we liked. They all had really good beers and we had a good time at each location. So if you are looking for that, then yes 5 stars. But to call this a "tour" is a stretch. Our driver did just that "drove us". She didn't give any insight into the areas we drove through, nothing about the background/history of the city, or knew anything about the places we went. We asked our questions and got to know about the breweries while inside the places. It would have been nice to have the driver engage with us more or tell us few tidbits about the city/area. Secondly, the bus.....definitely needs to be refurbished and deep cleaned. Several of the chairs are broken and my husbands was leaning back and couldn't be up-righted. Our table was sticky from the last group of people and I wiped it down myself with hand sanitizer. The bus was hot and needs a stronger AC or be time to cool down before riders board. It was VERY bumpy so probably due for some new shocks and the window tint/wrap is beginning to peel off. Overall, definitely time to refurbish the bus. Not saying this can't be a good company and not saying we didn't have a good time ( there's beer involved -duh), but there are several area they could improve and really make this a fantastic experience.

Awful experience overall. Not as advertised. I booked my boyfriends 30 th birthday party and bought 20 tickets. The bus driver Justin talked to us like we were convicted criminals or misbehaving children. We were not allowed allowed to play music "because the last people abused it." We were told to get on the bus 10 min before we departed each location so were forced to sit on the quiet bus instead of enjoying our time in each brewery. Our group was large but very well mannered and extremely respectful. We had planned on tipping our driver $100 at the end of the night but couldn't stand to tip someone who treated us so poorly. To top it off, half of our group wished to return after the tour was over and half didn't. Justin kicked everyone off the bus and told us he had to go. Another driver from the same company caught wind of the problem and offered to take anyone in our group back to the designated location. Very disappointed we wasted our time and money.

I travel all over these United States visiting the beer scenes. I visited Indianapolis In. I heard good things about the beer scene. I looked around to see how i could you know drink and not have to drive. I came across Brewery Tours of Indianapolis. I had some questions so i called to speak to someone. The guy that answered the phone was Rand. He was very helpful and answered my questions quickly and thoroughly I was impress with his knowledge about the local beer scene. I booked my tour for Saturday Sept 3rd for the Broad Ripple location pick up. I was pleasantly surprised when the bus arrived, This bus was awesome! its set up like a limo... very nice inside! Chuck the driver greeted me with a smile. Our 1st brewery was great WOW! This brewery had so many awards. We were met by a very knowledgeable , I guessing was the owner I think his name was Jerry. We did the tasting (2) that lasted about 7 mins then we were invited to come to the bar and buy a pint. We stayed about 30 mins. Our next brewery was right downtown when we arrived we went in the back door and into a fenced off area It was the actual brew house. Again we were met by an employee that gave us a couple of tastings. one of them was a Honey Weiss OMG it was awesome! After the actual tour of the nice shiny stainless we went to the bar. These guys had 24 of their own beers on tap you could get them Carbonated, Nitro and Cask impressive to say the least.. Im getting a little wordy. To sum up We went to 4 breweries, the tour lasted about 3.5 hrs. I met a lot of people. A great time was had by all. I love beer! the breweries on this tour were very good. I give it a 2 thumbs up ! Well worth the price of admission.

DESPICABLE business practices. We paid for six tickets (over $200), and apparently, according to past employees of this company, they straight up DON'T DO the tour if they don't get enough people. THEY STILL TAKE YOUR MONEY THOUGH. I get that there are fixed costs to a business that make a small party potentially unprofitable, but DISCLOSE THAT AND DON'T LET ME BUY TICKETS AND GET A CONFIRMATION EMAIL. BUYER BEWARE!!!(Also, their listed goes directly to voicemail. I've called 5 times today.)
