Brevin's Downtown Eatery & Lounge

The food service and ambiance were very nice. We had the fried fish special and it hit the spot The French fried potatoes were crispy and coated with a delectable seasoning! The fish was great and the tarter sauce was outstanding.The sugar cream pie was delicious but was not as good as my wife's....she reads all my reviews.

If you've been here too know-come hungry. My family came in for Mother's Day lunch. Service was very friendly and kept up with refills. I chose the filet special. The steak had good flavor and was quite tender. I asked for medium rare but got medium. Maybe order under a bit so they don't over cook. Came with a salad that was but enough for a meal itself. Others had sandwiches or Turkey Manhattan. The peach pie was good too.

Brevin's isn't a 5 star elegant dinning kinda place. However, what they do they do really well. Therefore I give them 5 stars.This bar and restaurant has been in this small town for a long time. The facilities are updated, clean and well taken care of. They have a good sized menu to meet a lot of different tastes. The wait staff is friendly and professional. I have been here three times and the food has been consistently good.In the past I have the pizza - which was very tasty. On my last two visits I have had salads and soups. The salads are nice sized and fresh. The santefe salad has a nice blend of different ingredients. The southwest dressing had a bit of spice but not over powering - definitely recommend! One visit I had the chili. It had plenty of meat and a nice amount of spice to appeal to most tastes.

Meh. The restaurant was clean and I appreciate they were able to accommodate our larger group (10) in a private area but the food is rather average, at best. My uncle ended up sending his back because it was cold and my daughter said her pancake tasted like paper. I went with something more basic - classic eggs and sausage and the sausage was too salty of my liking. The staff was attentive and friendly and I know options in this area are limited, but this wouldn't be my top pick.

Very good breakfast we had here. They serve a lot of food for the price. The syrup is nice and warm and very flavorful, and they give out massive pancakes that you would not believe. But, Their eggs should be a little warmer in my opinion. Also, there was something weird in the coffee mug and it looked pretty nasty, but the server gave us a new coffee cup with coffee in it because of that. Please also clean the bathroom again. It was pretty dirty and stinky but that can be fixed easy and you should add some air fresheners in their.Like most restaurants please give out more napkins. Syrup is sticky and I need to wipe it off but their is no napkins. Overall it was pretty good; service was good, food was delicious, and the waiter was efficient and nice.

Great Service and Food! Nice little hometown diner and bar! I would recommend it to anyone looking for American Dining!

We recently hosted a funeral luncheon for approximately 40 people. We ate off the menu, drinks, desserts, etc. I cannot say enough good things about Brevin's. They handled our group in a very friendly and professional way. We were served our food promptly, it was hot, it was good. The drink orders were taken & checked on frequently. When we got the bill, my husband had them check it twice as we thought somethings had been left off and not charged. It was correct. Thank you Brevin's. You ended our very tough and sad day with a positive note.

Great food, generous portions, friendly service, affordable prices! Look at this awesome Senior portion Fish Dinner for $8.99! Who would want to eat fast food when you can get this?!? My favorite stop in 'Busco!

I ordered the buffalo chicken dip. It was hot, flavorful and copious. I ordered a Cajun mushroom Swiss burger, it was cooked perfectly the accompanying fries were hot and crispy. The staff were friendly and engaging. The owner was there. I mention this to point out that if a restaurant owner is somewhere else on Friday night--Saturday night--or Sunday afternoon--then their opinion of their own restaurant is not as favorable as the place they are choosing to frequent. The games were on and the restaurant was clean and quiet.

Friendly place to eat, foods good, just the dining room is rather dark not real good lighting. On the other side the lounge is nice and upbeat environment. Double Cheese Burger is great, huge sandwich. Great service.
