Small neighborhood liquor store:) They have a great selection for you last minute or weekend needs! Don't expect to go here and see a selection like a Big Red becuase they are not them they are their own little stop and shop. They have liquor and some wine a handful of mixers to choose from from coke to juice and they sell bagged ice on the cheap. Plus if you need smokes they have this handy as wells. They have come in handy in a pinch a few times now and you can't be more happy you had them. Friendly staff and honestly walking in fees like a step into the 90's.

I'm fond of this liquor store. It isn't because they have anything special alcohol-wise--they don't, really. But the outside of the store just looks cool. I like the cardboard cutout of the scantily-dressed racer girl that greets you at the door, and I like the guys who work in here, who are friendly in a bored kind of way. In my experience, the majority of liquor stores are just liquor stores. But this one has a better aesthetic than most.

don't walk in here thinking your at a big box liquor store and then leave upset because they didnt have your favorite bottle of wine or your high end scotch!!This is not that store..they are a a small privately owned liquor store that has what the people that live in the area are looking for. A small and average selection of beer, a small selection of wine (nothing pricey or super special) and a small but ok selection of liquor with your most popular and the cheeper brands. Thats who they sell to, they keep their shelved filed, they staff is nice, they are the only liquor store in So-Bro and they have been there forever. I don't always shop here but when I'm in the area and know they have what i need or need something quick they are my spot.

The Bottle Shoppe has a solid selection of beer, whether it be a case of beer pong water or a coveted bottle of rarely-found Zombie Dust (you can only buy one bottle at a time if it's in stock). I like knowing that I can go in and find my craft favorites but also walk out with a 6-pack of something I've never tried before. Prices are a tad higher than what you'd get at competing stores, but when you're in need of something hoppy in SoBro or need a beverage to complement your Little Caesar's deal...look no further than the corner store on College and 49th.

The Bottle Shoppe is a seriously terrible liquor store. Their selection is horrible. Anything more obscure than Fat Tire isn't available cold. It's overpriced. There's a 10$ minimum for card purchases. The Bottle Shoppe gets an extra star because it's probably in the most convenient location ever and the staff isn't offensively bad. Maybe I should have given them 1 star. Well, too late now.P.S. To Luyi H. down below. The Bottle Shoppe is not in a bad area .If you think 49th and College is scary you're probably one of the top 20 most sheltered human beings to ever walk the face of the earth.

This place is dusty and overpriced. I've gone here twice and both times the employees are rude. There's a $10 minimum and if you dare ask if there is still one you will be rudely told "yep." The selection is poor and the prices are way too high. Just get a beer at Greeks next door!

This is the closest liquor store to my house so I really wish I liked it, but unfortunately I drive right past it because the employees are rude and innatentive and the prices are sky high. I paid 17 bucks for a bottle of Bourbon County that my roommate only paid 10 for. Finally, it's cramped and dirty. There were tons of empty cardboard boxes piled up in plain view of the customers. -4 for stars for cleanliness, service, and price. +1 for having a decent selection.

Something about this place just gave me the creeps. Maybe it was the beat up looking store front and the empty parking lot...or the unapproachable and "out of it" or "bored" employees...? Not sure what to make of it exactly, but walked in, checked the place out, and then walked straight back out. Take that how you will.

The Bottle Shoppe Liquor store is your typical little neighborhood liquor store. They've got decent selection of craft beer that is pretty reasonably priced which is kind of a hidden gem. The wine selection is okay and you can always find some good cheap wine that will pair well with whatever you might be eating for dinner that night. You'll find your typical hard liquor selection and domestic beer (Highlife, Miller, Bud, etc) is pretty easy to spot in the cooler.Parking can be kind of a pain because those patrons of Sinking Ship and Recess tend to park in the lot and it's just kind of screwy the way that it is set up. I would ride my bike but there's no bike parking on site and nothing really to lock my bike to.The guys behind the counter range in knowledgable of craft beer, just there as a warm body, the owner (who is super nice), and the flirty nice guy. All and all, you'll get what you want when you stop in and you won't have to go anywhere else.
