A hidden gem and practically a national treasure. This small-town dinner theater is located only five miles south of I-74, an easy drive from Indianapolis and less than an hour from my home in Carmel. The building is rather nondescript from the outside but as soon as you enter you quickly experience the unique ambiance. It's a vintage supper club complete with authentic decor. The show on this evening was Law & Disorder, which was lively and fun. The audience was a part of the show, and the performers appeared to be having as much fun as the rest of us.Before the show had even started the actors greeted us in character and introduced themselves. They walked from table to table, and explained how the audience would be involved in the show. We were invited to have our pictures taken, a "mug shot" standing in front of a wall with height markings like a police lineup. A nice souvenir. The show itself was fast paced and fun. There were four acts, with a tasty salad served after the first act, a buffet dinner after the second act, and dessert after the third. The food was delicious! Everything homemade, from the unique salad dressing to the buffet entrées and sides, to the dessert. There were several main entrées including a vegetarian lasagna that was one of the best that I have ever had. Even my carnivore friend loved it. The mashed potatoes, fresh rolls, and vegetable sides were very tasty too. Flaming Bananas Foster was made live on stage for dessert by the actors. It was served over ice cream along with brownies. On one of the walls are maps with pins marking the locations of visitors. Every state is represented as well as more than 25 other countries. The servers are wonderful! If you are looking for a fun evening with an excellent dinner I highly recommend that you check out this hidden gem in Boggstown. The experience is well worth the drive.

Amazing magical theater just discovered while driving through Indiana - it's like the Field of Dreams but for theater. Saw amazing show there called Stumblewood. Besides a Chorus Line, Chicago, Cabaret, Hello Dolly, Cats and Starlight Express this is the best show I have ever seen. Also it's an amazing deal for both a show and fantastic dinner. My wife and kids loved the dinner and show and the kids usually fall asleep at theater. The Theater apparently was built in 1872 so it's a historic building surrounded by Corn Fields. Very charismatic and friendly owners Brad & Russ. I wish I lived near the Field of Dreams Boggstown Cabaret so I could see more shows there.
