We went here to celebrate our anniversary because we wanted to dine outside. I had read the reviewed and already steeled myself to accept that we were coming for the ambiance and not necessarily for the food. I was pleasantly surprised that everything we ordered was delicious. Don't skip the Brussels sprouts - they may be the best item on the menu. What we weren't anticipating was the frat house atmosphere. They have multi-person ways to do shots of alcohol like shots on a surf board-like thing. And another shot that comes in a big ass boot. All attention is called and the server bellows about what is being celebrated. Fun and lively if you're in the mood, jarring and off putting if you're not.

A couple of friends have a boat in the reservoir and we decided to grab a bite before the dinner rush - glad we did, the food was delicious and the service was on point! The restaurant is large, with plenty of seating inside and out! Would love to come back!

This was our first time to the Boathouse. I can't wait to come back and try it on a warm sunny day!!We had a large party and made reservations in advance. The team was exceptionally at helping us work through some seating and arrangement issues. They were very friendly and professional. Lots of smiles and great service even though we had a large party. The inside facility is moderately large and good condition. Everything was clean and comfortable. The bar area is attractive and looks relaxing. You have to love all the windows to watch the lake activity and sun.The menu is large. Im sure you will find something for everyone in your party. We started with the fried pickles. The breading was thin with a slight amount of seasoning. Not too greasy. The breading easily fell off the chips. The chip was a nice size to pick up and eat by hand. A nice appetizer !My wife loved her fish tacos. She say they were very fresh and light. The Cole slaw was also very good. It is mayo based with a slightly amount of mayo. The slaw was chopped into moderate sized pieces and slightly coated with mayo. You could detect a slight amount of seasoning. I had the BBQ and ginger wings. The wings were large and very tender. They were cooked nicely - no pink insides and slightly moist. The skin was a bit crisp just like it should be!! The ginger sauce was very mild. You could pick up hints of ginger in the BBQ sauce. However it wasn't very predominant. The BBQ sauce was slightly sweet and tasty. Both sauces were very good..especially for a non-buffalo sauce person.

This is a huge restaurant. There are a lot of outdoor seating areas which is great because there's a nice view of the reservoir. The food was good and it seemed fresh too.

I had always sat outside on the patio or deck in the Summer, but given my daughter's ISSMA singing competition in Noblesville, running up to Cicero for some basketball and lunch & libations overlooking Morse Lake was a great idea! Sat in the bar, enjoying some sun while watching multiple bball games & winning some money! My steamed shrimp pot was really good and the potatoes & corn on the cob were thoroughly enjoyed if even out of season and not local. The Key Lime Pie to finish up made for a nice midwinter's break, even if I would have preferred being in Ft. Meyers in May or Charleston in August. Plenty of local beers, if that is your thing and the service & crowd could not have been nicer. A good break from the winter doldrums! Maybe the groundhog really did not see his shadow!

Decided on a beautiful Sunday to try out the Boathouse Kitchen & Swan Dive. We went around 4 PM and there were some musicians setting up. We decided to sit outside since the weather was beautiful that day. We had excellent service by our wait person (cannot remember her name). The food came out quickly and everyone enjoyed their meal. I got a hamburger and my husband got a grilled chicken salad. We all enjoyed our meals and would definitely go back again. If live music while dining isn't your thing, you may want to check when they have live music playing. I wasn't sure if kids were allowed, but they are. There's also an Alexander on the Square right next door if you want to grab some ice cream for dessert.

A group of 10 were well accommodated after a round of golf on a very hot day. Our young server, Olivia, was remarkable in her ability to remember all orders accurately while being inundated with off topic dialogue. My Blues Burger with side salad was excellent and the much needed beer met my expectations. Kudos to this establishment.

I love eating outside at restaurants on the water. I am a big fan of Ricks Boatyard and was curious how their menu was in comparison. My friend and I met for an early dinner around 4pm on a Friday. We had no wait time to sit outside. The tables are shaded and there was a nice breeze coming in. I ordered the blue Betty frozen cocktail because it's hot outside and it was good. Then for food I ordered the lobster roll with a side of brussel sprouts and my friend ordered the fish tacos with a side of brussel sprouts. Our waiter gave us suggestions on the menu because it was first time. I was surprised with the abundance of seafood options being located in Indiana. I look forward to coming back and trying their famous steam pot. We both enjoyed our food and the view. I really like the seating inside the restaurant. There is parking readily available.

Great spot on Morse Lake!! Loved the decor and vibe. Our service was fantastic, especially since e we had 19 people and needed 3 tables! Food is okay, probably great for some people's tastes though. We had the peel and eat shrimp, (no picture) which was pretty good although I was not a fan of the cocktail sauce but I'm not a fan of a lot of horseradish - my cousin loved it though! My husband had the Power Bowl sub steak, he liked it (this has a strong pesto taste). I had the Pontoon Pete burger whiz was supposed to be like a Big Mac, I didn't like the sauce (very tangy) and the fries were decent. My favorite thing was the Star Spangled Sangria!!! This was soooo tasty!!

Service is nice. Food is on par with concession stand quality. Very pricey and no taste. $22 for frozen fried shrimp, $32 for a tablespoon of lobster meat? Might be a fun place to have a drink, but the food isn't worth the money.Suggested tips: 20%, 25%, 30%
