We stumbled upon this hidden gem while grocery shopping in the same plaza, and we're so glad we did! We had the biryani and kadai chicken, both of which were absolutely delicious--flavorful, well-spiced, and cooked to perfection. If we had known about this spot earlier, we would have been picking up takeout every time we ran errands!The service was also great--the girl who took our order was kind and patient, making the experience even better. We'll definitely be back to try more from the menu. Highly recommend!

Biryani House is a small Indian restaurant located on Indy's west side in the international district. I stopped in to grab some lunch and ended up ordering the butter chicken (spicy). Be advised that naan does not come with the meal and must be ordered separately. I chose the garlic naan. The butter chicken portion was smaller than what I'm used to receiving at other restaurants. The sauce texture was good, but it was more in the sweet side and didn't have enough heat for me. The portion of rice was great and I had enough for leftover. The garlic naan was decent, but could have had more garlic flavor and could've been fluffier. The service was pretty quick and there's parking out front. The restaurant was clean on the inside.

My family went this evening because the internets told us there was a dinner buffet (there was not), but as it was the second Indian restaurant we'd popped into in hopes of a buffet, we decided to stay and order a couple of items to console ourselves. We ordered:-garlic naan (8/10)-sesame Naan (10/10)-spicy prawns (9/10 and pretty spicy)-vegetable samosas (10/10)-chicken samosas (8/10)-vegetable biryani (9/10 and mildly spicy)-butter chicken (9/10 and not spicy)-gulab jamun (10/10)The server was kind, the food was freshly made (unless it was a marinated item), it came out hot (in a weird order, but no complaints), and we were the only people dining in. There was a brisk take-out business happening, with customers coming and going every 2-5 minutes.

Everything we ordered was very good! We didn't get much, but even the Naan was fluffy and delicious! The meat dishes were ordered were marinated, tender, and seasoned perfectly! Some of the best Indian in the Indianapolis area! We will be back.

In the past month we've ordered from Biryani House three times. Each time is simply fantastic and delicious. We've ordered the chicken biryani (phenomenal), the saag paneer (delicious), and the goat curry (so good). The prices also can't be beat. We live about 20 minutes away and it's still perfect when we arrive back home to eat. They're following safety precautions during covid which is great. We can't wait to try more dishes!

I have only had their Samosas, but they are absolutely delicious. It is honestly some of the first Indian food I have ever had, and now I LOVE samosas! I especially like the potato/veggie ones!

We ordered a tray of Chicken Biryani to go (fed 6 adults) and paneer makhani w/white rice. The chicken biryani was perfect! Spicy, delicious, and the chicken absorbed most of the amazing goodness! The portion of the paneer makhani was small, but my son said he enjoyed it! We will definitely be back!

Ordered a chicken dish with 6 pieces of garlic naan, the chicken came out in a pool of oil and the lady charged us for 6 orders of naan. She wouldn't refund the extra orders even though it was her fault. 1/10 wouldn't recommend to anyone.
