Bird's Smokehouse BBQ

I'm impressed! This is a phenomenal BBQ spot. The food is delicious!! The ribs are so tender that a single twist of the rib bone releases the smoked rib meat. Everything we had, from main entrees to sides, was all well prepared and full of flavor. The portions are good and priced very well. The service from the team at Bird's was on point and delivered with genuine care.My wife has Celiac disease, and the team at Bird's was knowledgeable and friendly. They have no issues with cross-contamination, ensuring the food is safe for people with dietary issues. My wife made great choices, knowing the food was safe and delicious!The team at Bird's was so friendly and helpful. Tristan, Chrystal, Jim, and Reba, thank you for making the birthday celebration and meal today such a treat for all of us! We will be back.

We were in town for the Muncie Ironman and had our dogs with us. Downtown had limited restaurants with outdoor seating so we started heading back home and found this fun lil BBQ place. The customer service is amazing and over the top. We sat outside with our pups and had quick service with a smile. The food was delicious-ribs, pulled pork, green beans and cornbread were my fave! In all honestly I wasn't a fan of the potato salad but my husband loved it. I was even blown away that they had sweet tea and it was fabulous!!! Thanks for a fun stop that was weren't expecting!

The food is flavorless and soppy wet. The hot barbecue is lack luster. I don't like leaving negative reviews but this is not very good bar b q at all. I know I've been here before and took a friend and we were both very disappointed in the meats and sides. The best part of the meal was the Cole slaw. I would not call what we were served brisket or pulled pork.

If you like dry bbq. Then you found the best place. BBQ is one of my favorite meals. They didn't give me my normal bbq vibe

Visiting Muncie on business, and decided to try a local barbecue, on a Sunday afternoon. Coming from central Texas, there are many excellent Barbecue establishments to compare. The highlights of the meal were the baby back ribs, the cornbread and the coleslaw. The meat was fall off the bones and had excellent flavor. You had a choice of mild or spicy sauce, both of which are good. I also had the brisket, which was only available in pulled variety- unable to assess any bark on the brisket. I found the brisket do you have little smoky flavor, and the consistency was slightly tough. The southern green beans were rather bland. Service was excellent and the establishment was clean and inviting. I would've liked to have tried the brisket as a sliced variety if offered; this may be more regional as I am used to the Texas varieties.

First things first, we ordered on Mother's Day at supper time and the wait was an hour. ANYONE with a problem (like the people yelling at the waitress) with FRESH cooked food taking a bit of extra time in a holiday should just go to Mc..... down the road, the waiting there was only 30 minutes. Food was GREAT I ordered the smoked chicken wings and YES they were available, (Secret note, typically they sell out shortly after lunch) coleslaw... always a huge hit and mac & cheese. Barbecue ribs ,coleslaw was order 2 and brisket with slaw and baked beans was the 3rd. The food was great, we picked up but we eat inside often and the quality of dining reflects on the food. The ambiance can best be described as classic comfort country. I highly recommend if you are in the area to stop in and give them a try.

We drive 3 hours to see a vet in this area and every time we come we stop and eat here. The friendliest servers and food is outstanding. I love the corn casserole! Can't wait to come back again!

Hankerin for some BBQ?? Bird's is S T E L L A R!!!!! We just moved to the area and thought we'd try them because driving by puts those squiggly cartoon smoke smells in your nose. The good kind! Pulled chicken, pulled pork, baby back ribs, brisket, mashed pos with beef OR chicken gravy, etc. BUT...the star of the show,..THE CORN CASSEROLE!!! Soooooooo STUPID GOOD!!!! The doll that took our order was so sweet and Brandy who got us anything we needed was SO much fun!!! Please visit this bbq joint. It's finger lickin, lip smackin, slap your mama good!!

Sorry, my personal experience was high school concession stand quality to decent bbq. The person who took our order would rather be a coal mine veterinarian. Imagine a family reunion in the gym with the best tables and chairs your uncle could find after 2 minutes on temu. That's the dining vibe of BSB. 2 stars because our server was trying her best with what they gave her, and I have a good buddy named Bird who may be a distant relative, purely speculation.
