Where to start with this review....Well, the home made beef vegetable soup was good, everything else, just bad.Look at the picture of the "prime rib" for example. My expectations were not high, but this was absolutely terrible.The Blue Gill special had no flavor at all.One visit here was enough to know we will not be back.Also, covid rules do not exist in Ogden.

Billy Bobs , it's a village hangout with a wide variety of menu selections to meet anyone's hunger. They have lunch and dinner specials with drink specials to make any day a treat.My favorites are the shrimp basket, wings on Thursday or Sunday for .50 or the mouth watering prime rib. I don't want to forget the soup and salad bar. I know you won't be disappointed with the friendly environment and quick service. Just under the water tower in Ogden, Illinois, try it out

Haven't been here in almost 5 years because of a very bad experience. Came with a really good friend and had an awesome experience. We all had the chopped sirloin and it was great. The salad bar was wonderful and couldn't believe how big the baked potatoes were.

Was really excited to eat here, came on a Saturday afternoon (1:30pm), and it took a good while to get waited on. The atmosphere was nice and plenty of room for families. The grand daughters had fun with the placemats. My burger was over cooked but edible. I was actually full all day after my visit.

If you don't know where Ogden is, you aren't alone. Just go towards Danville from CU, it's the exit after St. Joe. Go into town, turn left at the road before the stop sign on 150. Go down until you are at the water tower, that is Billy Bob's. I had been here once or twice before when there was a pool team here, back when I played on Tuesday nights. I had never eaten here before. I decided I should change that. We didn't know where to go to for dinner last Friday, so I suggested here (I wanted steak!)We started with appetizers. Kridz got the Mozzarella Sticks, I went with the Crab Stuffed Mushrooms. The mushrooms were awesome. Go there, get them. Seriously, that stuff was amazing. The waitress said it was house made stuffing, and it was great. Kridz really liked the sticks, they were battered, and not breaded. The breaded ones wind up looking like fish sticks, while battered is just so much better. For main course, Kridz got the hot ham and cheese, with a side of the macaroni salad. She really REALLY like the macaroni salad. Sandwich was very buttery and good too. We inquired about the macaroni salad, if it was made in house, and the waitress said it wasn't. I got the ribeye steak. It was prepared correctly. Was a really nice looking piece of meat. Good grill lines, good marbling, good flavor, and really tender. My side was the coleslaw. (also, I believe, made in house). It was a creamy coleslaw. Very creamy. The wait staff was very friendly and treated us great. It's only like 15 miles from CU, so it's a quick trip. The prices are very reasonable. The food was great. It's more of a NASCAR bar, as there was pickup truck racing on the TV instead of, you know, game 4 of the NBA basketball championship. I'm sure they would have changed to the game on one of the TV's were we to ask, but we didn't really want to impose. They don't have an extensive beer list, but with demand, I'm sure that would change. The beers they had were very reasonably priced. Liquor was also inexpensive.

If you want a meal that you know will be good this is the place to go. On those nights when you and your partner are pondering where to go, this is the place. It's never disappointing!

Fried chicken sandwich was good and basic. Buffalo chips were great. Now the potato skins had potential with a good amount of bacon but they were smothered in fake nacho cheese wtf. Like oil based fake cheese. That's lazy.

Great food with good variety of different selections. Great service! Clean bathrooms , friendly people.

My wife and I go for date night often. Last time we went our waiter Sharon was awful and the steak came out bland and over cooked, my wife sent it back and they offered to take five bucks off of the steak. After taking it back to the kitchen and tossing it. It could have been handled much better, in house like I tried to do. Told the waitress that wasn't going to work for us and then she got an attitude with us. Point is it took hours to get our food. Food didn't come out right, and the service was horrible.
