Big Woods - Noblesville

I've been to other big woods locations & love that this location is much closer to home. My coworker loves the pork nachos so after enough hype, I decided to try them tonight. They were fantastic! Good flavor, lots of toppings, and chips were nice & crunchy. I had this for my meal but definitely big enough to share as an appetizer. Our server was super nice but seemed he had a lot of tables. He kept apologizing for "slow" service but it honestly wasn't that bad. We appreciate him taking good care of us! My friends who live closer said the place was busier than they've ever seen it but even on a Friday at 730 pm, we were seated right away. Can't wait to come back in the future for their pizza & strawberry blonde beer

I have been to several Big Woods locations, and my husband and I decided to try the Noblesville location. This location looked like all the others with the rustic cabin decor. This restaurant was large, and had tons of tables. The service was friendly and our waitress was attentive. I do think they have a great cocktail and beer list. I tried the hard truth sparking lemonade and I really enjoyed the coconut rum. For dinner, I ordered the fish and chips. The fish was great and served with a massive portion of tartar sauce. The chips, or fries were not good. I was disappointed as they were not hot and on the soggy side. Red flag if the fries aren't cooked properly or even served hot with fish and chips. The food is priced on the higher side for basic bar food. Overall, I didn't think the quality of food was a good value and I left feeling disappointed in the meal.

It's a very rare thing for me to leave a restaurant feeling worse than when I entered, but Big Woods in Noblesville wins the award of Worst Customer Service Experience in Recent Memory. I attended a retirement party for a coworker on a Friday night and was directed for a corner room which was reserved. There were quite a few people there and drinks were flowing, but after twenty minutes of saying hellos and sitting down, no staff were to be found. Several of us in our party headed to the bar to order drinks and asked for a menu to get food. We were waiting for our drinks when a bartender abruptly walked up to us and rudely stated "if you're with this party, you can't be here. We need these spaces for other patrons who are waiting!" We looked around to see no one waiting in the restaurant and didn't understand why he was so aggressive but went into the room without our drinks. Others in the group experienced the same "lashing" from the bartender yet no instructions were given to anyone on who to order from. Finally, a male with a small tablet comes around and tells us "YOU ONLY ORDER FROM ME!" And even went so far as to make others close their tabs at the bar. No wait staff bussed tables so we did it on our own during the 4 hour party. Used plates of food and glasses sat on tables for long periods until we moved them. No utensils were given when food was brought out. The tablet staff member would eventually wonder around to ask if we needed drinks but he never smiled, had an attitude and it was so rare to see him, folks started ordering 2 beers at a time because he was gone for so long. It was a poor experience to say the least. The icing on the cake though? He tried accusing me of leaving without paying my $4 tab (for soda). I think it goes without saying, I won't be stepping foot back in this establishment.

What a great place. Pizza was good, bread sticks were good but service was awesome!! I think our waitress Andrea is a mind reader. We were just telling each other let's get some boxes and take off and less then 10 seconds later Andrea is bringing us boxes. And then she recommended the Nashville Fried Biscuits for dessert! I could unbutton anymore buttons on my jeans so of course we had to take some to go! Soooo good!! Great variety of food and I bet a great place to watch the game with all the TVs in the place. I'm sure the place can get rocking during a game but tonight was peaceful enough we could have a conversation.

I've been to Big Woods in Speedway, so I was happy to see one closer to home. They have a large menu, something for everyone. Typically American bar fare. The wings are smoked, sauce served in the side. They were really good with a great flavor. They have a few types of fries, we enjoyed the dill ones. Full bar including Hard Truth cocktails and Quaff On Beers. We will definitely be back.

I was hungry for a late dinner and I sat on the bar and had excellent service ordering the fish and chips with some onion rings instead of fries and everything was hot and delicious and my belly was happy. Thank you! I'll be back.

Big Woods is A casual pub with delicious burgers, fish, pizza. Hard Truth and Quaff On beverages as well as local wines are featured alcohol choices as well as NA cocktails. Three kinds of fries offer a nice switch from the usual. We had burgers, thin crust and kids pizzas, fish, and truffle fries. We recommend all of the above. The Hard Truth Manhattan straight up was delicious for sipping. The Virgin Mary was perfect spicy and we didn't miss the alcohol. The service was good. The dining space is open. Big booths accommodate six comfortably. My only complaint was the cold wind blew in with every door opening. I look forward to meeting family here regularly. The location is convenient and accessible. Sorry no pictures. We were to busy enjoying the moment which was all good.

Love this place and next to our favorite ramen restaurant! The bartender was SO nice and welcoming and the patrons were so friendly As well. We stopped in for a birthday beer but next time we will be sure to get the nachos!

Food & cocktails were good. Service was good and gave us time to talk with each other before taking orders. Kids were able to sit in next booth after dinner. Giving adults time to talk. Of course, it wasn't a busy evening.

We have always been Big Woods and hard truth fans. Unfortunately, This location has started to decline. Our server was pleasant and prompt enough. We got the pulled pork nachos today. pork was very dry, you could tell that it was not very fresh and was a poor quality. Also, I am positive that my tip was not recorded correctly. shame on me for not checking my digital receipt when I got it in the restaurant right afterwards. We're probably not gonna go back and we've been going here a few times a year since they've opened.
