Big Woods Fashion Mall

This is a sit-down restaurant in the food court. They also run the bar in the middle of the food court where you can order off same food menu.They have all their house beers and liquors which are brewed/distilled at their facility in Brown County.The menu is heavy on burgers and BBQ but they also have tacos, salads, wings, etc.

After shopping, we stopped in the Big Woods in Keystone to grab a snack and watch the Colts. I had been to the Big Woods in Edinburgh and had a good experience. I did not realize that the restaurants had roots in Indiana, but apparently they do. They brew their own beer (Quaff On!) and spirits (Hard Truth). In fact, they have won awards for their spirits.We sat at the bar (so we could watch the football game). The monitors did not have sound, but we could get the gist of the game. The restaurant is dark and quiet (a peaceful escape from the mall).We ordered a Quaff IPA and the Signature Pulled Pork Nachos. The beer is 5 star top notch with lots of flavor. The nachos (tri-colored chips) were loaded with toppings including the pulled pork, beans, cheese, green peppers, corn, onions, bbq sauce and sour cream.Our server was a little indifferent, but got our order right and checked on us a couple times. Food came out quickly.Over all, a good experience that gave us a break and allowed us to catch-up on the game.

Big Woods seems to be opening new locations all over the state of Indiana, and I was curious to try this location in the Fashion Mall. You can access the restaurant from the food court inside the mall, or you can park behind the mall and access the restaurant very easily.We decided to share some cheesy bread as an appetizer and then ordered the Homestead pizza. I loved the pizza, the toppings were fresh and worked well together. They have the Quaff On beer that they are known for as well as their signature cocktails. I ordered the Hard Truth Sparkling Lemonade, which was great. The interior was clean, and service was prompt. The restaurant has the same ambience as all the others with a rustic cabin feel.

First time at this location. I think we've eaten at the Nashville location once. Not very busy when we first got there at about 5:30 on a Friday. But it did pick up about 15 min after. Took awhile to get our server. We ordered cheesy bread with marinara and cheese sauce. It came to the table with no sauces and no appetizer plates. It was also not very cheesy. When we got our servers attention. He brought plates and then went to get sauces. Our main food arrived minutes later. We hadn't even pulled apart the bread. My side salad was served with my main dish thus my main dish got cold while I ate my salad. The bun was bigger than chicken breast sandwich. Fries weren't crisp. My Fish and chips said tempura battered cod. It was too thick to be tempura and not crisp. The coating did taste good and I actually liked the tartar sauce and I never like tartar sauce.Nothing really would make us come back. Everything was just meh. Absolutely not worth around the 80$ mark for dinner.

Date night at Big Woods was great! We sat at the bar and the bartender was super nice and gave us great recommendations. We both got burgers, which were super fire, a perfect blend of flavors. We also each got a drink and they were so yummy! They use all Hard Truth liquors which was cool too and the bartender was able to give us more info about a lot of things on the menu.

How disappointing. Big Woods looked promising and the look and feel of the restaurant was inviting. I was seated right away, but at a tiny table in a hallway across from the kitchen in the ugly part of the restaurant. The server was nice albeit over anxious to offer free samples of their house beers. He brought a porter and a peanut butter porter, which was just nasty. I have no idea how they sell it. For my dinner I wanted simple and just ordered the Mac and cheese with pulled pork. It looked good enough on the menu so why not? Why not? Because it was dreadful. The pulled pork was alright but the Mac and cheese was tasteless and the pasta was overcooked and watery. Just the worst mac and cheese I have ever had the misfortune of eating. I ate about three bites then pushed it away. To their credit, they took it off the bill, for which I was grateful and gave the server a very generous tip because he was pretty attentive despite me being hidden in the back of the restaurant. I'm starting a new job across the parking lot and this is the third bad experience I have had with three different restaurants in the immediate area. There must be better options. Hopefully my coworkers will have some insights.

Great dinner and drinks with the amazing team at Big Woods! Katelyn the bartender was SUPER SWEET, KNOWLEDGEABLE, ATTENTIVE AND FRIENDLY! The general manager was extremely nice and welcoming, taking the time to chat about the location and various drinks at the bar. I was excited to be able to sample their whiskey bourbon and maple bourbon cream liquor. They have an amazing Maple Bourbon Martini and of course their signature Six Foot Strawberry Blond beer that I enjoyed. The caesar salad and fish tacos were both extremely good and filling. I thought the quantity, taste and price were feasible. The ambience is nice, gives you the upgraded camping in the woods vibe. This location is at the Fashion Mall, just north of the food court as you enter the mall. They even have a full bar in the middle of the food court. You can get there through the mall entrance that's a few doors down from the Apple Store as well as a direct entrance in the back of the mall with parking. This is great for after mall hours entry...YES you can get great food and drinks during or after the mall closes. Hours:Sunday-Thursday, 11 a.m. - 9 p.m.Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. - 10 p.m.

Came here tonight with my wife we originally were going to the cheesecake factory and the wait was an hour long, so we decided ti go elsewhere and we came to Big woods and wanted to give a shoutout to our waitress did an amazing job and gave us both good recommendations on our food, which the food here is excellent and it was pretty decent in here as far as the noise level is concerned, but definitely if we're back up this way definitely coming back

The service was great at Big Woods. I came with my husband on a Thursday and we were able to get quickly seated. We ordered nachos as our appetizer as that came highly recommended from the staff. They were cheesy and come topped with pulled pork, adding a nice layer of sweet flavor. I ordered the fried fish sandwich and fries and my husband went for the bourbon chicken sandwich and fries. The fries we tasty and seasoned quite well.

Rough night. Food mixed up, drinks mixed up, and the service has been incredibly slow. 2.5 hours in the restaurant. My pizza was dry as well. Just not a good experience.
