Big Sharks Fish and Chicken

I have been 3 times and plan on going back. I always get the gyro lunch and it smacks. Tons of lamb plus you get fries and a drink for $10. It's a good deal. The guy that i think owns it is really friendly always checks in to make sure everything is good. I'll be bringing more people i work with here to keep this hidden gem going. Inside is basic but has the essentials.If i had to give a con it would be go easier on the salt with the fries and shrimp people can always add more.Depending on who makes your food will determine if the onions are cooked but i am sure if u ask they will cook them for you. Heads up there is no bathroom but thats not a big deal.

Awesome spot. Good find for a wing/fry combo. The sauces are hot and sweet, great taste. Highly recommend. The service was quick and simple, nothing crazy was in and out in 10 minutes with my combo. (Ate too quick forgot pics.)

Wonderful customer service, fresh and delicious food! The restaurant was closing up but we were still able to place an order. Joshua was friendly and our food took no time. The restaurant was spotless, will be back!

I happened to be driving down Michigan rd looking for dinner and the bright lights of Sharks attracted me. I was familiar with Sharks in NW Indiana and wondered if they were the same people. To my delight I found out that they are.The gentleman working was very cool. He immediately greeted me and offered a caramel grape. that is one of the dessert items that they sale. I tasted it and really enjoyed it. We chatted some as I figured out my order. I ordered the catfish nuggets and fried okra. While I was waiting for my food, he offered a piece of Red Velvet Cake and I shared it with one of the other patrons in the restaurant. The cake was good. The catfish nuggets and okra were so good! They were fried to perfection. The fish was not overcooked and was still moist inside. Best of all, they have mild sauce, real mild sauce. Not that hot sauce and ketchup concoction a lot of places have made up. If you are from the Chicagoland/ NW Indiana area, then you understand the love of mild sauce!I know I will be a regular at Sharks even if it against my diet.

Terrible attitudes in here. Fish, Fish sandwich, and chips are all sub-par. (Note: fish sandwich is catfish)No public restrooms. The restrooms are literally barricaded with their dining room furniture. It's the end of May and it is HOT AF in here.

Check your desserts... I've had a couple great meals from Big Sharks, but this scares me. Forgot a whole appetizer and the banana pudding I ordered was a moldy slice of plain cheesecake instead. Not great.

Big Sharks Fish and Chicken has great fish for a fair price.i always come back for tasty fish. Next time I'll try the chicken.

I ordered chicken wings for carry out. The wings tasted like the were old and had been refried. The chicken meat was dry with no flavor. What a waste of 27.00!!

Respect older patrons or anyone for that matterEven if they don't understand the menu They're your paycheck, so to speakDon't talk to them in a condescending manner It's your job
