Big Bear Biscuits

A new favorite breakfast location! The service was amazing and we were able to get a seat as soon as we walked in the door! Our server was so awesome and was ahead on refills and everything we could possibly ask for! I had the hibernator biscuit with the potato sides and I was full the rest of the day! The ambiance was wonderful and homey! Loved this place so much, I wanted to buy a shirt because they were such a cool tie-dye design! Ready to go back!

Fairly new brunch spot with lots of room for the breakfast crowds! We tried the biscuits & sausage gravy and their Smokey dish, both were very good and my Bellini was perfect as well! Our server was very sweet, I believe her name was Christine, she also gave us a punch card for future visits! Will be coming back!

I went today and had the fried chicken biscuit, piment grits and potatoes. It was delicious. The chicken was seasoned and fried well and the grits were creamy and delicious. The atmosphere inside is lovely, very homey. There are tables for seating as well as a bar. Everyone was super friendly and quick with the service. I highly recommend if in the area!

Very disappointed in Big Bear Biscuit. The biscuit was dry hard on top and bottom and not served with anything. No butter, honey, jelly nothing. My over Med eggs were over easy , not cooked to Med. Friend ordered scrambled eggs with cheese. They forgot cheese. Server took it back and and had cheese put on top but they didn't take the time to melt it. Other friends sandwich had a glob of aoli on it and her cheese never melted. The chocolate gravy was super disappointing. Very bitter. I grew up with scratch made chocolate gravy and mine is so much better. Our server... I hope she was new. She was slow and forgetful. Asked about nut allergies and the gravy. She forgot to ask. Had to ask her again. Asked for ice and butter. Brought the ice forgot the butter. Servers should know the basics of how items are made. They could have turned the dining room twice over if service was more spot on efficient. We all said we wouldn't go out of our way to come back.

BIG biscuits!!! Service was great!! Ample seating!Started with the Irish coffee, DELICIOUS!!! Only complaint is it needs to be in a oversized coffee cup vs a tall glass, was very hot to try and drink. Loaded home fries were awesome!!!!Tried the hibernation biscuit, super filling, took one half of biscuits and ate with the gravy and the other half used a knife and fork to eat. The bacon was super crispy just the way I like it!!!The short rib biscuit sandwich as soon as I take one bite all the meat fell off, definitely hard to eat. Overall I am stuffed and will definitely be back!!!

Randomly stopped in here today and I am SO glad that I did. It's a little place with a whole lot of great service. Management is great. Our server was a master of the craft - she was kind, quick, and even had the art of conversation! We went in after a rough morning and they surely brightened our day up. That's just about service. All that good above couldn't have prepped me for the delicious and monstrous sized meals. Biscuits themselves were good BUT THAT SAUSAGE GRAVY !! Husband got the Hibernator and was pleased - said the chicken was stellar. Both have enough to take home for tomorrow.If you're in the area, check them out! And get a Bloody Mary!!

I was excited to learn that Big Bear was opening in Brownsburg because I've heard great things about their other location. But reading the Yelp reviews for the Brownsburg location made me hesitant to visit. I finally tried it and I'm kicking myself for waiting so long. My husband and I had a great brunch. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. I ordered the Petting Zoo and all of the flavors worked so well together. The portion was big enough that I took half home. And the pimento cheese grits were also very yummy. My husband ordered the biscuits and gravy and said it was very good. The coffee was fresh and brewed to perfection. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu.

Good breakfast spot! The loaded home fries and biscuits and gravy were our favorites. Service was good! It's kind of hidden in the middle of a strip mall. Inside is small but had plenty of open seats.

We went there on a Sunday morning and we were told all they had was the buffet. All I had was one biscuit, two slices of bacon and a water and was charged $18 (after taxes) for the buffet (which only has a very small number of items to choose from). The biscuits were hard on the bottom side. They had apparently been sitting out for a while. I should've known when I went in and the place was empty that something had gone terribly wrong. Don't go there!

The place was super cute, breakfast and brunch place! Food was good. Service was excellent. They have a fun drink menu too.
