BIBIBOP Asian Grill

Bibibops are popping up all over town. This location in Whitestown just opened last week and today was my first visit. They serve healthy Asian inspired build-a-bowl meals. You walk through a series of gluten-free options starting with a base of greens, rice or noodles. (The noodles are made of sweet potato's.) then you select from a series of warm options, cold options and finish with a protein. Price is dependent on the protein selected. My server, Alan, walked me thru the options to build my custom bowl. The bowl is ready in less than a minute! I selected a lettuce base with chick pea curry, Brussels sprouts, a fabulous pickle onion, kimchi, carrots and topped the bowl off with Korean bbq made from beef brisket. The ingredients were flavorful with varied degrees of spicy heat. The spice levels were perfect for me without added sauce. The curry was tasty and the bbq was tender and juicy. I loved my bowl. I especially liked being able to select ingredients that fit my diet. The dining area has an upscale vibe with six long tables. There were fresh flowers on the tables, probably from last week's grand opening. The dining room is clean and tidy. The manager came over to my table to chat and see if everything was ok. On Monday's, they offer special pricing on Meatless bowls. There was a kid's menu, as well. If you sign up through their App you can get a free bowl and receive other offers (I opted out). I did have issues finding my way into the tiny strip mall. There is a single narrow entrance in the back that also serves as the exit.

We have never tried Bibibop before this. It's excellent! The portion sizes are great (my husband and I split a bowl), and the flavor is awesome. We got the sweet potato noodles with chicken and tons of toppings. We will be back to try more!

This new location just opened! I had been to another Bibibop in the area previously so I was able to compare the two locations. The seating area is the most noticeable difference. There isn't much space inside so the tables are crammed together and in cafeteria style with long rectangular tables. It was a bit awkward as you had to squeeze past tables and people to get to an open seat. I loved the food just as much as my visit at the other location. It was hard however to order as they have plexiglass walls as tall as your head to protect the food they are scooping (think Qdoba style) but i couldn't hear what they were asking me I wanted because of the wall. I love the sweet potato noodles and got chicken as my protein. Definitely a must try and great healthy lunch!

Ordered for first time. We got 3 fan favorite bowls. Serving is plentiful, ours had a lot of chicken! Only downfall was that several ingredients were missing: broccoli, potatoes and cheese. Overall, happy with the taste and flavors. Look forward to next trip; will do a custom bowl next time. I like the drive through pickup!
