View to the downstairs stage from the top. It's almost like a balcony. Not so great for short people though.
The outdoor comedy stage.
a sign that reads no federation beers go local yeah
a sign on the side of a building
Back smoking area. It's booths with new tables! Awesome!
View from the bar.
Just one hallway to the outdoor patio
PBR on the upstairs ledge. It's a little too tall though. Would be nice if they had tall bar stools.

One of my favorite places in Muncie to go. I've lived here for 3 years now and this place means so much to me. If you're college aged and enjoy live music, I highly recommend Be Here Now. There's lots of really cool and unique events going on here on the weekends!

Be Here Now, not to be confused with "Go Here Now!"... apparently I get passive agressive when I'm drinking and mix up my words lol. I went on a Muncie Drag Night. It was really fun! We went at around 9pm and stayed maybe til 1? I went with my girls from high school, and it was a great bar because it wasn't crowded. There's a lot of people, but you can move around there. Maybe not the bottom floor when the drag performances are going on. But upstairs was great. It goes around in a square with a pool table, and then the smoking section has old booths outside. Very cool!Drink specials were perfect. PBR that night was $2, $3 peach shnasps and sprite. I loved it! It was a great mix for me. Most think the decor is tacky but I thought it was fun too be able to look at everything!

This bar was practically giving away Sun King. $3 pints in large cups? YES!The performance area was cool, especially since there was a cut out in the ceiling so the main floor could look down at the bands. Funny lower level bathrooms, they looked like a 12 year old boy's dream. They don't call it Funcie without good reason.

Nice staff, love the pool table! Pretty good atmosphere. Good drinks! Live music is a little too loud. Bathroom is dirty :(

The people that work here are so rude, and they will try to swindle you any chance you get! Always check your change. The bands are "occasionally" good but either way they charge you $10 (under 21) and $3 (over 21). They have good beer specials most of the time, but you'll probably get contact high from all of the smoke for free. And they do have a variety of events to attend. Their Facebook is pretty active, so follow them there.

Be Here Now offers some great Indiana and underdog beers for equally great prices (especially Mondays). Several nights a week you can catch hippie, indie, punk and whatnot bands. Other nights let patrons spin their own vinyl. The basement bathrooms are lewdly pinned-up and not for the faint of heart. In warmer weather, there's a huge biergarten out back. If I weren't so firmly cemented downtown, Be Here Now would see more of me. It's a nice little watering hole compared to the douchey Village competition.

This place is incredible. We were here during the colder season, so we didn't get the opportunity to play outside, but the owner was kind enough to show us around. The outdoor venue is freaking beautiful. The bar is full of kitsch and the staff is incredibly kind (the bartender even took me down the block to get a few shots of whiskey when his shift was over--Be Here Now is beer & wine only).I need to find an excuse to find my way back here.

The owner is friendly and works hard to create a space for art and true performance. The staff is friendly and the ambiance is welcoming. Muncie is lucky to have this place!

Fun bar overall. It's very hipster/divy. If you enjoy that-- you're gonna have a blast! If that's it up your alley- it might not be the best fit. There's a variety of ages here and they make everyone feel like you fit in. Great drink specials and decent drinks. Lower rating because it isn't my favorite

We used to love this bar. Hands down favorite one in Muncie. Great bartenders, great crowd, decent priced drinks, local entertainment and very chill. Never met a stranger there. Then we met the owner. He grabbed my friend and shook him around saying he could take his girlfriend because he was a bigger guy. He slapped my ass multiple times and said some flat out crude things to us. We found out he was the owner after the fact. He was so intoxicated he didn't remember a bit of it when I spoke with him about his behavior a few days later. He did eventually send an apology but it felt as if he was sorry for being called out not for the actions committed. We loved be here now.. but knowing that this is who we're giving our money to support has made us decide to find another favorite bar to give our patronage to. GET A NEW OWNER AND WE'LL COME update. 10/28/18it took us TEN MONTHS to come back to this venue. we had a great night, mingled, the crowd was great. then this fella walking through the bar walked behind me and tore part of my halloween costume off. i turned around to find that it was whitney! THE OWNER. nothing has changed. i introduced myself as the girl who had previously called him out for his inappropriate actions on new years and also stated it had taken me ten months to come back to a place id previously loved so much. instead of taking responsibility for his actions while drunk he stated he had no recollection of that night so it must not have happened that way.i then pointed out that it'd taken almost a year for me to return and upon that return i was treated yet again how i was previously. Then, he stated he'd seen other things on the floor so it was okay to tear apart what i was wearing.HERE IS MY ISSUE. As a business owner in a local community, you should hold yourself to a higher standard. You should hold yourself to a standard of community growth, positivity, and overall responsibility for your actions. Whitney stated that he knew that this town would never be more than what it is now so actions were irrelevant and didn't hinder the growth of the community because it would never grow anyway. PEOPLE WITH THIS MINDSET ARE THE REASON WHY THE COMMUNITY WON'T THRIVE AND GROW. AS A SMALL BUSINESS OWNER IN A COMMUNITY THAT HAS SEEN GROWTH AS WELL AS DECLINE, WHY WOULD YOU NOT HOLD YOURSELF TO A STANDARD IN WHICH YOU ARE ABLE TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR YOUR ACTIONS, IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF YOUR BUSINESS AND ALLOW YOUR COMMUNITY TO THRIVE?!???. whitney- i know you have read this because you commented tonight that i left a poor yelp review. all i am asking you to do is to take responsibility for your actions-there were FOUR witnesses, it happened. Invest as a local business owner into the good of the community and do so by holding yourself to a higher standard than being the asshole who owns a bar. Be Here Now is a quirky, fun, and mellow place. It's a bar I've loved going to for the last five to ten years. The shows, bartenders, crowd and environment always make a night there fun. However, knowing that the money we spend goes to a fella who can't take responsibility for poor actions and who has left a truly rotten taste in our mouths regarding his character, we will never step foot in this venue again.
