We were in town for a concert at Turntable, within walking distance of Bazbeaux. A friend who lives in Indy recommended it, so we decided to try it. From the outside, it looked small but was bigger than I thought, yet cozy. Our server greeted us quickly and did a great job throughout our time there. It was hands-down the best Margherita Pizza we've ever had! The Caesar salad with house vinaigrette was delicious, too. We can't wait to return the next time we're in town.

We've always loved Bazbeaux. We love their food and the atmosphere. So we decided to eat there last week for date night.They greeted and seated us immediately. We chose to sit inside even though outdoor seating was available. They sat us at a nice table that did appear very clean. There was also some modern pop/rock music playing.The server, while attentive, friendly, and thorough, seemed a bit nervous and kind of hung out a minute or two longer than what made us comfortable after we placed our orders. We wondered if it was his first day.My wife and I started off with salads. She had the house side salad with mixed greens, shaved parmesan, kalamata olives and tomato, she chose a creamy basil dressing (her favorite there) and I had the spinach salad with spinach, mushroom, bacon, egg, red onion, kalamata olives and shaved parmesan. I chose the ranch dressing (my favorite).Her salad was nice crunchy and flavorful with the cool creamy basil dressing. Mine was tender and crunchy at the same time and just loaded with all of the toppings. The ranch dressing was creamy and tangy and complimented the salad well.My wife had a 10" Hawaiian pizza with ham, pineapple, green pepper and red onion and I had the 10" Garden pizza with artichoke hearts, avocado, spinach, green pepper, red onion, black olive and ricotta.Both pizzas had a nice crispy crunchy thin crust. My wife enjoyed the savory sweetness of her pizza and I loved the chunky plethora of wonderfully savory flavors of mine. I was unable to finish mine, so I boxed up what I couldn't finish.After I finished eating, I used the restroom. I noticed both the restaurant and the restroom appeared very clean.The only issue we actually had wasn't the fault of the restaurant, it was the fault of the table of eight guys seated behind me. They couldn't seem to keep from uncomfortably staring at my wife and me towards the end of dinner. We didn't bother mentioning this to anyone because we were leaving soon.All in all, it was still a positive experience and we will definitely return again sometime.I regret not taking pictures.

Bazbeaux is one of those places that I feel like has stood the test of time. When I moved to the BRV area nearly 20 years ago, I remember how creative and innovative their offerings were for Indiana. Seafood on a pizza? I've never had it before, but man it was delicious! A Mexican themed pizza? Wheat flour crust option? Yeah! Fast-forward to now, and they still serve excellent pizza, with many of the same specialties that I remembered way back when. We order the Neptune without cheese and the Veggie pizza with half ricotta only, both on wheat crust. Our server was friendly and efficient, and in about 15 mins our pizzas arrived just as we'd ordered. Without the cheese, you really can taste the other ingredients and sauce, which I truly enjoy. It's got such a rich tomato flavor and is so well-spiced. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and juicy! The dining room hasn't changed much over the years, it's what I imagine a typical modern pizzeria to look like with wooden chairs and tables. It was clean with no dirty dishes on tables. The prices are fair for the area and the amount of food we received. We had enough for leftovers the next day. All in all it was a great visit and we'll be back again soon!

Their Quattro Formaggio is THE best pizza I've ever had. It absolutely cannot be beat. Love that they have a gluten free crust option, it's delicious as well. Ask for their wine list, other than that, they do offer beer. Their large pizza is a great deal and can feed a small army. The ambiance is perfect to take a friend visiting from out of town, especially if the patio is open. If you're looking for a new stop for pizza, look no further, they never disappoint!

One of my favorite pizza places in Indianapolis. Plenty of seating at this location. Easy to park is you're doing carry out. Lots of specialty pizzas. The restaurant always seems to have enough staff to manage the number of customers.

I have been a customer for years now usually for pick ups. I don't know if it's just bad luck on my side but almost every order that I did, I always get the wrong pizza, it's either in size or the type. But they go out of their way and gives me credit. I keep coming back because their Tchoupitoulas is just very good, especially when added with more cajun chimp and lump crab meat. Wifey loves their Garden and Mediterranean pizza. Food is, as always, great, but through the years, the kitchen staff needs to pay more attention to the orders. I'm sure they're aware of these. Hope they correct this problem down the road.

We were in Indy this weekend to scout rentals and stopped in Broad Ripple to get pizza for lunch. Bazbeaux was hyped in Trip Advisor, so I figured we should check it out. As plant-based people, seeing that they offered vegan cheese was nice. Our server Eliot was very nice and courteous. Checked on us while the food was waiting. We ordered pizza and then decided to get garlic bread while waiting for the pizza to be ready.Ambiance is nice and casual. The bathroom was very clean and smelled good, so it's a good sign when a restaurant maintains a good restroom. Our pizza was a 12" veggie with vegan cheese. I think it was Follow Your Heart cheese as it melted well and stretched easily. Not too gummy. I love a veggie pizza that comes with artichoke hearts.We were well satisfied with the flavor of the pizza, the crispiness of the crust, and the lack of sogginess. The garlic bread was really good. All in all, the 12" pizza with customization, garlic bread with cheese and sauce was ~$32. I would recommend coming back. The Broad Ripple location is super nice. There's outdoor and indoor seating, and it's right by the canal and the Monon Trial. Bike for a slice.
