This is THE pizza place to go to in Indiana! Top notch! Great college bar as well, nice prices on drinks and special shots. This is really a awesome place for pizza, if you are anywhere near this place (really close to Indiana State University)You'll thank me !

Went as a group of 8. The 1 bartender waitress was less than helpful. We ordered pizza and several apps. Everything came out one thing at a time. Our bread was cold. We never got napkins plates or utensils. I finalasked for napkins and forbear pizza We used cocktail napkins as plates. Stunk.

Located just outside of ISU's campus, the Ballyhoo is the place to meet up with friends for great food and cheap drinks. The Bally has Pizza King pizza that is made fresh. They have a pretty good menu for a college based bar. One of the best parts of this bar are the variety of deals they offer on different nights of the week. For example, Friday's at the Bally may be referred to as "Freeza", because during the early afternoon you have several chances to win a free pizza to complement your drinks. Upon entering the bar, you will receive a ticket with a number and they periodically read off a number that is the winner of the free pizza! It's a fun time with or without a win, because the atmosphere is fun and upbeat. The busiest times tend to be after 10:30-11 pm on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

Want to love, but they're out of cheese. Also they have a $5 min. on credit cards, so I had to have 2 beers since the bartender didn't tell me about the cheese problem until after he served my beer. How does the Pizza King run out of cheese?

I went to the Ballyhoo early, as to avoid the crowd of drunken 21 year olds. Upon arriving we sat outside. It was a beautiful night! We sat out there for some time until we asked a couple sitting next to us if they had to go inside to get drinks. They informed usable did. I wish we were told that when I told the bartender we were going outside. I asked for a Blue Moon. She looked at me strange and then said they didn't carry that (upon going in later for another drink I noticed Blue Moon was stocked in the fridge...). I asked if they carried Gumball Head. She then giggled and said she had never heard of that beer (even though I had just came from the Copper Bar down the street where it was served on tap). I then asked if they carried a Cider Beer. She said "I want to say yea, but no.". Interesting. I, then confused and frustrated, simply got a mixed drink special for $3. We ordered a pizza that was BBQ and sausage. After all of the friends I've had that rave about this pizza I needed to try it. It came out a little while later delivered to the wrong table. We had to flag the waiter down and let him know it was ours. The pizza was alright... Crust was a bit too thin for my liking. Overall, when there are approximately 6 people total in the bar there is no excuse for poor wait staff. Additionally, I would recommend that bartenders learn their products.... Or look around to be sure they have the beer or not.

Pizza is a thin crust but not the thin crunchy variety. The taste was okay, prices were a little better then average and the service was fine. However it's mainly a bar with a pizza delivery joint in the rear. If you go to pick up, go to back northwest door that is unmarked. This might be a better experience as a delivery.

College bar that won't throw out old alumni. If you're over 25, go early to avoid looking like a creep. BRST PIZZA in town, bar none. Limited bottle beer selection and even less on draft, unless you like Bud Light. Not a beer selection Haven. Mixed drinks and draft in plastic cups, otherwise how could they play beer pong?

It's very clean and has a cool atmosphere. The drink specials vary and we got $2 Fireball shots and vodka shots. The bartenders were pleasant and gave quick service, but were unprofessional, including not ID-ing people buying drinks for each other at the bar. They had a DJ working from this laptop in the back that had TERRIBLE mashups and the music was so loud that you couldn't hear yourself think. He was there for hours and not a single person danced or acknowledged him. Once more people started packing in, and the booths and bar seats were full, people started standing behind you at the bar and ordering over your shoulder, a bit annoying. We would probably go back for the specials, but alas - forever searching for a college bar where people don't bring their grandparents on Friday and Saturday nights.

I spent a good portion of 4 years of college at the Bally and probably just as much money there as I did on my education and it was worth every penny. Still a true legend and the best college bar in Indiana.

I will not lambaste a place for closing when they are not busy. But as an out-of-Towner on a Sunday night who stopped in Terra Haute because there was a place that had advertised food until 3 it was VERY disappointing to get there a little after 1 and they were closed. I will not kill them with a 1 Star but I was not happy...Go there at your own risk.
