My husband had a gig there. We got there early and shared a delicious pizza. Only counter service. Very cute bar separate from the food counter. Offered drink specials. Picnic like table seating. Large area for dancing. A little tricky parking. I wish they had indoor plumbing for the bathrooms. I'm not a huge fan of portable toilets.

I feel honored to put the Bad Apple Saloon on the map (literally) and write not only the first review, but also add this great pizza place. If you had told me three months ago when I moved back to Indiana that my favorite pizza would be in Cory - who? where? - I would look befuddled. I honestly didn't even know this unincorporated hamlet existed, but damn if I don't feel now like it's a lovely piece of the state. The owners have refurbished an old train depot and turned it into an excellent bar/live music venue/restaurant of the quality we are now seeing more and more in small towns everywhere. And they decided to sell pizza, but not the chain crap we have become used to as Americans. They put in a legit, authentic woodfire oven. Each pizza is a work of art and you need to give yourself at least 15 to 20 minute per order. But dammit, it's worth it. Each crust is thin and charred beautifully. I believe there are only 10 unique pizzas here - and most are heavy on the pork - but I loved the Southwest pizza, which reminded me of my trips to New Mexico. I have heard the Margherita pizza is great too and you can customize. The joy of the Bad Apple is that it is rural and surrounded by fields. No WiFi and no TVs .... talk to your neighbor. They do have a great sound system and I am looking forward to coming back! What could be more American than supporting a small business?

We are from the north side of Indy and our HS team is playing in Farmersburg so we were looking for a spot to eat before the game. If you LOVE wood fired pizza - The Bad Apple Saloon is the place to be! Rustic atmosphere with very friendly staff! We definitely would return!

Great place to meet friends and hang out. Pizza is great and drinks are reasonable. Beats the chain restaurants.
