Bachelor Runn Campground

This place is amazing! I stayed here for 2 nights. It was way cheaper than a hotel/motel. Cleaner, the gentleman that runs it was very accommodating and he even upgraded our room when we unexpectedly had our grand kids for the night and we didn't even ask him to! It is peaceful out there! They have done an amazing job with the place it is beautiful!!! Can't wait to go back and stay again. You know how you go to some campgrounds and the owners bug you . Well this man doesn't. He made sure we didn't need anything and we didn't see him again till the next evening. The was awesome! His staff is super friendly also. We didn't get the omg another boring campground feeling from this place. There is a lot to do and we could only fit a quarter of it in on that short of a stay. There are Porta potty's out there and they are the cleanest ones I have ever been in. Are the showers are at the front by the office. there was only a few campers there we were all spread out, not feeling like we were on top of each other. It was nice.

I would not rate this campground as somewhere you would want to go for a peaceful visit. It was right next to the highway with loud cars going up and down the road all night. The place was rundown. One of the bridges looked like it had been damaged and unsafe to walk on. If you did want to play golf in the putt-putt area it was covered in pine needles, so how would you play when the ball would get hung up on the needles. Their ad mentions that you are given towels, and the amenities for a shower. There was nothing provided, but a raggedy old towel and a filthy shower. The owner was not friendly and one of the patrons told me he was drunk and running around in public with a bath towel wrapped around him! I would not ever camp here again. I was hoping to find something close to home for a small getaway, but this one is definitely not the place.

HORRIBLE place to camp don't go here. Infested with ticks and nothing to do. wanna waste your money go here
