B Legendary Wine Boutique

One of the best black women owned wineries you can visit. This place has both sweet wines and a red (merlot) wine you would like. I'm not a fan of sweet wine but I like the sweet wines at this location. The owners are amazing and this is a great spot for private events.Nice cozy environment with out door and indoor seating. The soy based candles are amazing as well with a low price point.

So, on the morning of Sept 28th I was watching Fox 59. I love watching the segments from Sherman Burdette where he goes to different businesses. Well, that morning Sherman was at black owned boutique wine shop call B Legendary, and the owner is Carmen Randolph. I love exploring new wines, and visiting local wine shops, as well as wine boutiques. Yesterday, Saturday Oct 23rd I invited my sister-in-law, and friend checkout B Legendary Wine Boutique. When, you go to the B Legendary Wine Boutique website, you'll subscribe, and then you'll get a free wine tasting. The location is on the far East side, and not too far from Daniel's Vineyard. Upon, entering inside there's a sign outside her building about the tasting wine hours along with the new flavors to taste. Walking in the wine boutique shop there are no stairs, small yet felt very warm, and home like. The decor in the wine boutique shop is so pretty, the owner Carmen Randolph does offer small bottles of wines, and big bottles. The shop did open in mid 2019, not only can you go to B Legendary Wine Boutique for wine, but the wine shop also offers candle making classes. The wines that Carmen make the ABV are on higher in from 12% to 16%. When, you subscribe you'll get that free wine tasting of 5 selected wines of your choice. I had pineapple, lemon drop, pear, peach, and blackberry lime. In, additional I did taste new flavors carmel Apple, and orange krush. The bathroom is small, yet very clean as well nice decor. I'll definitely go back there for candle making classes. Going to B Legendary Wine Boutique is great to bring your friends for the tastings, date, or just exploring local wines in Indy.

The She Spot was running a Groupon special for tastings and $5 off a bottle, so my partner and I went. We had such a good time! The place is quaint and tucked away in Lawerence, but it's an open and welcoming space. The owner, who's name I missed was so kind and welcoming. She answered all the questions we had about wine and didn't rush us, which is something that weekend experiences a few times at other wineries. All of She Spots wines are on the sweeter side. They all have a grape base, but then are infused with fruits like mango, green apple and strawberry. The peach wine was my personal favorite and a bottle of it came home with me. If the $5 tastings and unique wine flavors aren't enough to pique your interest, consider this: She spot is women, veteran and Black owned! What an awesome combination and a great reason to support this new local business. We'll be back for more bottles for sure. Cheers!

My friend and I have decided to have " Sunday Funday" visiting the area wineries, distilleries, and breweries. The She Spot was our next stop and we had a great time! The ladies were so welcoming and easy to chat with outside of the wines. Carmen makes the wine herself and they are a little stronger. At the end of our visit, Carmen asked to take our picture for their social media and we happily agreed. I'll be back on the east side soon for more wine and good conversation.

My friend and I went here over the weekend to try the wine! We had a wonderful time! We tried the mango wine, peach wine and strawberry wine. All the wines were amazing. My favorite was the strawberry! We sat outside where we were able to distance our selves from other customers that were there. The owners were warm and welcoming! We will definitely be regulars! 5 star experience!

This is an adorable winery near Ft Harrison with the nicest owner! She was so friendly, and shared a bit about each wine with us before trying. Our tastings were carefully poured into individual cups that could be thrown away, and everything is being sanitized and masks are worn. We were very comfortable enjoying our tasting and full glasses that were included for each person, so much so that we ordered a bottle to share and had another round! Check out this Black owned winery, you will not be disappointed!

Please try some of her wonderful wine collection. You won't be sorry! I remember when this was just a dream for Carmen. It's now a reality and I couldn't be happier for her!!!!

Small but wonderful spot! Had a great time with my sister! Wine was tasty, with many choices! She also offers a meat & cheeseboard, which was also tasty and also offers candle making classes. This is a great mom getaway, local and ducked off. I would definitely recommend this spot! The vibe and atmosphere here is something that's difficult to find!
