Absolutely amazing selection of fresh vegetables, fresh seafood, and fresh meats. They have anything you can possibly think of if if you want to cook any type of Asian foods.

If you're looking for authentic Asian products, this is one of the few Asian grocery stores on the North side. It is a smaller store but you wouldn't think so based on the selection of items available. The meat section was smaller but still well stocked. I know I'll be back in a few weeks to restock.

Great place for authentic Asian food items that you can't find in your traditional grocery stores. I wanted to make some Ramen bowls and this place had everything I needed. The staff are extremely helpful in navigating you to the right aisles. The prices are very reasonable and the ease of getting in and out was perfect.

This is my go-to market in the area to buy ingredients when cooking Asian cuisines. It's a smaller market, but they have the good brands of everything. Takes a lot of the guess-work out and my shopping is done so fast here. Their produce is always fresh and I love the jarred kimchi they sell because they have a vegetarian option which is just as good. The parking lot is small, but people are coming in and out of the market. On the weekdays it's not too busy.

Now to be known as Enson Mart, they are remodeling. Wait until that is done before you try it out (Darnit just when I finally knew where things were in that store!!), but it was in need of an update. However I have always found such excellent produce for Asian cooking (including some of the best fresh shiitake mushrooms I've ever tasted) at excellent prices. The variety of Asian products here is mind boggling. Sometimes hard to find help due to language barriers, but they always try so hard to be sure someone can help me find what is needed. Nice array of Asian cooking ware as well. Always felt I got an excellent price for all I bought. First started going to this store when it was still located in a small strip mall in Carmel many many years ago. I know there are bigger markets in the area that may offer similar things. But their produce is not as fresh and the feel of being transported to a different land to poke around and find deliciousness is just not as good to me as Enson Mart. I like the intimacy of it and not feeling that once again I need to traverse some giant box store type grocery to find what I want to cook a great meal. Can't wait to see the transformation of their remodel.

3 stars.Lost a star for cleanliness. The heavy stench as you enter is indicative of poor sanitation habits. It's super funky in there. I didn't even walk back to see the "fresh" fish because I just don't trust it.Lost another star because they didn't carry any of the items I was looking to buy, but I did find some substitutes. As much as it pains me to do so, I will just have to order my jive from Amazon. In comparison to other Asian marts I've shopped, this one is small, unkempt, and hard to navigate. I couldn't find any English signs to indicate what's on each aisle. And I chased a worked saying, "Excuse me!", around two corners and she never turned around. Perhaps she didn't speak English...I did find these little Japanese sodas with the marble that we enjoy. And we saw some different candies...like a matcha Kit Kat. I like that I could wander around and get new things for my family to try. They now take credit cards for small orders. Mine was only $8 and I had no issues.

If you're looking for medium-sized Chinese market, this is a solid option. It's your stereotypical warehouse market so not the cleanest or neatest but safe enough. They have a good selection of GREAT looking produce with giant bunches of your staples like Thai basil, fresh mushrooms, daikon, and your classic veges like choy sum. The dried goods section is also well stocked with chilis, mushrooms, and spices such as cardamom and licorice root. I'd say this place has at least some of everything you're looking for (as long as it's Chinese) although you may not necessarily have many choices of brand for that specific ingredient.

BUYERS BEWARE! Asia Mart used to be the best Asian store. But the new owner of the Asia Mart aka Ensonmart would steal from you if you are too busy putting your items onto the conveyor belt for check out. They charged me $5.99 for Frozen Yellow Croacker which I did NOT buy. I thought the bill was high but after the bok choy per lb price is 3X higher, I expected to be higher. I didn't notice until after I got home, a two hour drive later. I had to google what Croacker is. THIEFS! Attached items I purchased and no frozen fish.
