Ashley Motel

I saw a lot of poor reviews on other sites. If you pull up to this place and expect the JW Marriott, then you need to take off the rose colored glasses. Yes the place looks run down, but if you need some long term lodgings for cheap, this place fits the bill.The staff was really good and took care of everything I needed. The room I had did not have a functional kitchenette, I don't know if that's the case for every room.Room floors are concrete, hot water is scarce. But it's a bed, a roof over your head, a working bathroom... all the things you probably need if you're looking this far down the list for an extended stay place.I was going through a divorce and needed someplace to call home for a few weeks, it wasn't the best room I've ever stayed in but it sure was easy on my budget.

We needed a place to stay before taking a flight for a cruise. Indy had a snow storm so I called for a hotel. The agent from Comfort Inn recommended Ashley due to everyone booked. He got us a good rate, but I was alittle hesitant due to it being such a good rate. Our GPS took us to a trailer park I was thinking omg, not a good sign. when we arrived I was pleasantly surprise! Very cute, Clean room and the bed was wonderful! Guy at desk told me motel been here since 50's now under new management and totally renovated, matteress is copper infused, nice place to stay. Definitely recommend !!
