Stopped in for a bite to eat before seeing Sebastian Maniscalco. It's a smaller place right off the road, but still very cozy in the winter. Services and food was very quick. We started out with an order of Dahi Malai Kebab. It's nice and kinda filling. Picture a perfect looking potato cake on a hot date with a saucy sidekick. Yum. I just don't think you can go wrong with Chicken Tikka Masala, basmati rice, and naan bread. It's like equivalent of midwest comfort food My wife and I split the entree. Definitely enough for two. We got a medium level heat. I love spicy food, and this was a very nice heat for me, but mild is probably a better option for someone that does not like spice. The naan was nicely seasoned and crispy. Perfect on its own. Please go. You'll leave happy.

Aroma has been on my list for a while. I am delighted to finally visit. Wow! Delicious Indian food with a fusion twist. My dinner partner wouldn't go near okra, bus seriously, try that appetizer. I love the. Minimalist decor and clean design. And servers are helpful as well as appropriately attentive. They seem to have a full bar, and the wine list is short as well as special cocktails. Try the rosemary nan.

Dreadful. We ordered butter chicken, naan, and mango lassi. Butter chicken was watery. No, really. I'm talking a pool of liquid at the bottom. Absolutely inedible. The mango lassi did not have any mango in it. I'm honestly not sure why I didn't send it back. The only redeeming quality was the butter naan which was tasty.Upon getting home, we both got sick. Now I understand why. City shut them down for many food safety violations. Honestly disgusting and I wouldn't recommend for your own safety.

The food was quite bland and lackluster. A drink menu was provided but then told that they have almost none of the drinks available. Lastly, the lampshades in the dining room were absolutely filthy. Completely caked in dust and grime.

I have been here a few times and I think this is the best Indian food in Indy. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. The restaurant is clean with plenty of seating and nice natural light during the day. I have never had to wait the few times I have been. I am basic so I get the chicken tikka or butter chicken. The chili naan is a MUST! You get a lot of food for a good price and it makes great leftovers :)

A fellow restaurant goer suggested we try here due to the amount of GF offerings. I was a bit hesitant, but agreed to try it out. I figured there had to be at least one thing worth trying. You are welcomed by the smell and they were extremely busy. The menu is huge and a bit overwhelming. Our server was extremely helpful. I ordered the muradabadi dal tadka (mild) along with gluten free bread. My food was absolutely amazing and flavorful. The spice was just the right level (I couldn't imagine getting spicier). I can't wait to try something else!

Stopped in here on Saturday for dinner as it was recommended by a friend. My girlfriend and I were greeted at the door and seated right away. It wasn't too busy it was probably 4:30 on a Saturday. We started with the jungle bird cocktail and it is rum based with pineapple. This is the only thing I didn't really care for it was not fantastic and I would not order it again. We ordered the Kebab platter to start with and it had chicken, lamb, and shrimp in different preparations. This was an excellent way to start our meal! Our waiter Sean was very good at his job and kept everything going that we had ordered, the app then when we were about done with it our mains, then our dessert. The restaurant has more modern style tables and chairs but it has a nice big window that you can see out of and see to downtown. I ordered a masala chai and while it was tasty it was definitely not hot enough. Next we ordered several different dishes to give them a try. My friend loves Indian food and has been to many restaurants that offer it and she said this may be the best Indian that she has had. We ordered Dal Bukhara, a black lentil stew, I ordered this at heat level 2 and I will say that it definitely made my mouth tingle. The next thing that I ordered was Aroma Special Panner Pasanda, paneer cheese stuffed with cashew and raisins in a pasanda sauce, this was a fine dish but not my favorite. My friend ordered the Mattar Paneer, paneer cheese cubes and peas, this was a delicious dish and was served with white rice. She also ordered Lamb Biryani which she loved.Definitely try the Aroma Spicy Masala Naan, so flavorful! We also had Lachha Paratha and it was good as well. For dessert we had the Gulab Jamun, always my favorite, and Carrot Halwa, I thought this was still a little too savory for a dessert, but we gave it a try.Overall if you like Indian food I really think you should get this place a try. It was well worth it. I am sure we will make another trip back here.

This place lacks consistency. You never know if the food will be good or taste the same as it did last time. Even though we order the same things from the menu, it gets worse over time. Over priced as well for below mediocre food. Save your time and money and try a different Indian restaurant
