My first time 'burning' a hat. It was a bit intimidating at first, but once I got the hang of it I calmed down. The guidance at the beginning of the workshop could have been a bit better. Quite unstructured. I prefer concise instructions. Such as: First get your seat, then pick out your hat, then pick out your design, trace it, transfer to hat, burn it, lastly pick out embellishments. Eventually we figured it out and the instructors did come to the various tables and helped us individually with our projects. Offered help and suggestions. Greatly appreciated. Also a lot of choices were made available for hats, designs as well as embellishments. It was really hard to choose from all of it. I think my hat turned out pretty good for a first try. They also offer many other classes such as candle making, painting, knitting and so on.

We loved this experience! My mother, sister, and I made candles. There are 20+ oils to choose from to create your unique scent. I must say we were a bit intimidated by the options and inability to know what the final product would smell like. However, the experience of creating something with people you care about was worth the risk and made for lots of laughs. The shop offers a variety of other crafts and has beautiful items for sale. The owner is kind, personable, welcoming, and helpful. She amazing! I highly recommend participating in one of their workshops, there's also kid friendly and custom options.

This was the first time I've ever done a crafting workshop even though I love doing crafts. I don't have much fall decor so I jumped at the chance to join friends here. I had no idea there was a place like this in McCordsville. Located in a new strip mall there is plenty of parking. The shop is so cute with tons of potential projects to look at! Wood signs, chunky blankets, candles, etc. there are clipboards with the months schedule on the wall and you can book online. My friend set this up and said the owner was very responsive and opened up a class for us without delay. It's a super laidback environment and the owner was very patient with us. It was so much fun! If you aren't a crafter don't be worried, they'll help you. Our class had ladies of all different skill levels and you sit at big workshop tables in groups. We paid $45 to make 3 pumpkins of any color yarn that was available and could use any of the decorations she had available at two different tables. Size wise, these are roughly the size of 8 or 12 inch balls. I love what I made! You can purchase beverages while you are there too. Not sure if you can buy alcohol or not. We came from dinner and drinks so we didn't purchase anything else while we were there.Definitely worth checking out. I love #smallbusinessowners.
