This place doesn't look like much from the outside but it is truly a hidden gem. I came here for lunch, and at 11:20 am they were already quite busy.I ordered a simple burrito, without adding a meat selection, and a side of rice and beans, to go. The burrito was large, and cut in half. The lettuce and avocado were very fresh and the burrito was absolutely stuffed with ingredients. Rice and beans were both very good.It only took about ten minutes before my food was ready but it gave me the opportunity to see other menu items being served. Everything looked wonderful.Food is delicious, employees are friendly, prices are reasonable.

You know it's a great sign when you walk into a Mexican restaurant on a Sunday, and the people at the tables are eating menudo. Because if you don't know, now you know: Sundays are for menudo in the Mexican culture. So of course my heart started beating faster when I saw people digging into their bowls of menudo. And then I looked at the menu and it was all in Spanish. And then I looked at the menu closer and noticed that they had things like cabesa, shrimp cocktail (the soupy Mexican kind, not the saucy horseradish kind), and fried tacos. Could it be that I have finally found a good Mexican restaurant in Indy? The real test would be if they had a good BRC burrito. Really, my expectations were so low that I would have just settled for them not looking at me funny when I tried to order a BRC burrito -- a burrito with just beans, rice and cheese. There's always a 80/20 chance at any Midwest Mexican restaurant that they won't know what a burrito is, and I will be served an enchilada. If you think I'm exaggerating, go ahead and order a burrito with just beans, rice and cheese the next time you're at a Midwestern Mexican restaurant and let me know what their reaction is and what you're served. But Antojitos Puebla actually has a BRC burrito on their menu! It's called a Simple Burrito, and you can get it with just beans, rice and cheese, or you can add meat to it. I opted for the simplest of the simple burritos, and you know what? I got a BRC burrito! And it was satisfying. If I have to be picky (and you know I will be), I would like their Simple Burritos to be a bit bigger and include more beans. But other than that, I am happy that I didn't have to explain to anyone what a burrito is, that I wanted the ingredients inside the tortilla, that I didn't want an enchilada, etc. Antojitos Puebla gets it.The burrito came with the most amazing green salsa that I've ever had. I'm not even joking: It was the best salsa I've ever had. There, I said it twice. The next time I go there, I'm asking them if I can order a big container of it. It tastes so fresh and green and garlicky, and it was the perfect thing to drizzle on top of my burrito after each bite.I'm actually really excited to eat my way through their menu, because they have many things that look really good that I haven't had in a long time -- the foods I mentioned earlier, but also caldo de pollo.

I didn't go to the restaurant but I stop by their tent at a Hispanic heritage month event and grabbed a tamale. It was chicken mole with great flavor and a little bit of a spicy bite to it. I would try more food if in the area of their restaurant!

Authentic food packed with so much flavor They were very busy and were in need to hire a server. A young man ran back and forth taking orders, drinks food, hosting and bar tending. Takes time for the young man to get to you as he is alone, but food comes out quickly. Second time here and I assure you I will be back !!

I found this gem on my way to work one day. They have some great Mexican food that is offered at other places. When I walked in I saw that they have daily specials on the menu. I opted for a huarache with pastor on top. It was huge and delicious! The green salsa had a great flavor and the pastor was cooked well.Definitely give this place some love the next time you're in the area.

Friendly fast service today. It has been awhile since my last visit and it appears an off-shoot second location is also active as well. Delicious tlacoyo today ! Unfortunately they were running low on mole so I had to skip that and opted for tacos Dorado instead. Looking forward to returning for mole soon. Parking is kind of a small lot so you might need a backup option if no place to park.

Very authentic Mexican restaurant. Look at all the menu items that are not offered at the Americanized Mexican restaurants. Last time I was here, I ordered the Chilaquiles, and I was offered the choice between the green sauce, red sauce or the Mole sauce. I chose the Mole and it was delicious. Today, I ordered the Menudo and it was the best I have had in a long time. The broth was rich and flavorful. I need to go back and try the Chicharron En Salsa Verde. Again, something you don't see on other restaurant menus.
