Half of a Reuben sandwich with sauce sauce on the side.
This is a half size, over than what I can eat up. A little too sweet for me. Overall, a good restaurant.

The morning after completing a marathon on crazy muddy trails in Albion, Indiana, the reward comes with Pancakes! Or at least with a drizzle of honey and syrup to go with. My local friend who lives in Warsaw took me to the American Table restaurant, which was a particularly popular place in Warsaw, Indiana. Popular especially on a Sunday morning. We were there around 8:45am and it was jumping. Not sure if this is a town where people come after Sunday church or not, but there are people here for late breakfast or brunch. With that said, it was nice to not wait too long for a table. Probably maybe 2 minutes before the hostess had located a table then we walked to the middle of the restaurant and sat in a booth. We even wore our finisher medals to this breakfast experience, but nobody really batted an eye. The menu was pretty basic and it reminded me of an IHOP, Denny's, or Bob Evans, or just somewhere that specializes in breakfasts. We spent about an hour here before paying for the bill and headed out to explore downtown Warsaw that morning. It was a nice beginning to a Sunday that only the day before was in Albion running thru muddy trails. All in all, a great weekend to be here in NE Indiana for sure. The overall experience here at the American Table restaurant here in Warsaw, Indiana was good and casual. My friend and I ordered more than we usually do, since we did a thing yesterday in Abion. That surely brings out the tiger appetite that comes with running a marathon or beyond. I'm not sure what my friend ordered, but I ordered the steak and eggs, since I usually get that while traveling. It tasted so much better and rewarding since the run event was behind me instead of ahead of me. The order came with pancakes, so that was delightful and I also ordered a side order of corned beef hash. I also ordered a glass of orange juice, which was refilled twice and that was nice. Breakfast foods are my favorites, so it was great to come here with my local Warsaw friend. For the most part though, this was great. Happy that my body was fed and happy to be able to be walking around after doing a stupid thing the day before in Albion. The food was delicious and the service was friendly and fast, especially with how busy the restaurant was that morning. Kudos!American Table restaurant is located in Warsaw, Indiana. They are physically located at 3575 Lake City Highway, Warsaw, Indiana. They accept major credit cards as well as cash. I decided to treat my local Warsaw friend out to breakfast for all the help she provided to me over the weekend and especially on Saturday in Albion. Least I could do really. The steak was decidedly good and decent, although not a true steakhouse steak cut, but it was the perfect size for breakfast. It was also nice to have corned beef hash. Pretty sure it came out from a can, but never can tell how people cook these days. Still, it was delicious and definitely did hit the spot. Everything tasted perfectly. The ambiance could have been more quieter on a Sunday morning, but I guess that's how it is here in these parts. As far as parking goes, there's plenty of parking here for those who drive. Not sure about public transportation in Warsaw, although you're more than likely will need a private car. There are Uber/Lyft services in the area, so you could do that if you need to. It was refreshing to be here. Hidden gem if you're in the area. Definitely recommended for breakfast.4.5 stars for the overall experience. 3.5 stars for the prices, 4.5 stars for the ambiance. 5.0 stars for the food. 4.0 stars for the service and location.Support local!B+

Please ignore all the 3-star reviews, I travel a lot and this is a wonderful place to stop. First, very personable staff. Warm and welcoming, clean, decor and seating needs replaced in some areas. The food was excellent, large flavoring dishes, pictured is the baked potato soup: very creamy and full of potatoes, celery and perfectly seasoned. The second picture is their roast beef Manhattan and boy was it tender, packed with savory gravy and smooth mashed potato's. The last pic is of my server Brayden. He kept our drinks full, made sure everything was delicious and we were amazed at his professionalism. Very reasonably priced!! Love it here!!Who ever rated this place 3 and 4 must not ever give 5 stars. But this Alabama girl thinks this place is amazing!! Great to stop by just about anytime of day. We will be back!!

Still our favorite place on US 30 to stop for a meal while driving through northern IN. The secret is out about this little gem of a diner. It was packed at lunchtime on a Thursday!Hubby ordered a gyro (pronounced "year-oh", even though the waitress called it a "jie-roh") with onion rings. He said the gyro was ok but the onion rings were the best he's had anywhere! Very crispy with nice sized chunks of onion inside. I enjoyed a half Reuben with their sauerkraut soup. Today's soup was cream based. I prefer broth based but it was still very tasty.

I have been dining at American Table for over 20 years. This is my absolute favorite restaurant for breakfast!! The omelets are delicious and filling. The hash browns are some of the best anywhere!! They have a homemade hot sauce that perfectly compliments an omelette or hash browns. The biscuits and gravy breakfast is also one of my factories. Whenever I have a breakfast or lunch business meeting, American Table is my first choice! The atmosphere is conducive to conversations. The meal choices are vast. Portion sizes are plentiful. Service is friendly and fast. I've been going to American Table for 20 years, and I'll be going frequently for another 20 years!

The steak tips & scrambled eggs were amazing. Servers were great, not a whole lot of wait time for breakfast. The over all ambiance was that of a typical family restaurant and while it was busy it was not overly noisy.
