First of all love this location. It's located in one of the coolest buildings in Indy. The staff were very helpful and had great suggestions. I wanted something a little bit more savory since I hadnt had lunch and they recommended a potato stuffed pasty. It was flaky and absolutely delicious. Of course I also had to get something sweet. They recommended the beet brownie. There was only one left so it must have been one of their most popular items. The brownie was moist but not overwhelming rich. But the star of the show. The orange creamsicle lemonade. One of the best drinks I have ever had.

I had the best croissants ever at Amelia's yesterday. My husband and I stopped by and bought two amazing pastries. I ate both. The Lemon Croissant was flaky and buttery with the most delicious tart Meyer lemon filling. The second croissant was a Chocolate Croissant with beautiful layers of pastry and a fine layer of creamy chocolate. I kid you not, there were the BEST croissants in Indianapolis (maybe anywhere) by far. While the croissants are large, you won't want to share them. Just saying. The shop is part of the Stutz complex in the food court. They primarily serve pastries, fresh breads and coffee, but also offer a selection of gourmet pantry items, locally sourced frozen meats and fresh salads. The fresh artisan breads were beautiful and I left wishing that I had picked up a loaf. The upscale dining area is perfect as a work space with free WiFi and artistic tables and a comfortable and trendy vibe. The clerks are friendly and attentive. Service was fast. There is metered parking, but there is still a walk to get to the shop. Amelia's will be a regular stop for me when I visit downtown.

I really love that Stutz is so close to my new workplace, and have been over a few times so far to pick up a lunch from time to time. While I have visited the other two Amelia's locations over the past decade or so, I have not been to their most recent addition at the Stutz location. Upon walking in, it was lively, much like their location near the Spades Park library (A Carnegie and one of the gems of the Indy Library System), which is always a good sign. I was just there for a coffee and a treat and found one in the form of a hazelnut coffee Danish. I won't ruin the surprise of how it looks, but it should certainly make you smile. It's one of those treats that's way too decadent, but I loved it all the same. The pro behind the counter was extremely kind and we commiserated about the curse of Indiana sunset being about 4:48. So, YES, I'll be visiting this location again and sampling their delicious wares in the future.

All Amelia's locations are fantastic. This newer location at The Stutz gets extra points, because it is the perfect spot to visit for dessert after enjoying the best tacos from Julieta's and solid cocktails at Turner's. There is a small seating area, for those who may want to sit and relax with their tasty baked goods and some caffeine. Amelia's typical offering of unique grocery products, both from local and acclaimed national brands, is also available at this location. I find it's the perfect location for finding gifts for the favorite foodie(s) in your life. The employees are always friendly and helpful when trying to narrow down your order...but, pro tip...just order everything that sounds delish and creative! You won't regret it.My only complaint is that the most perfect ginger molasses cookie is not available year-round. It is beautifully spiced, with this amazing chewy-soft texture; it just melts in the mouth. Of course, maybe we would not appreciate it as much if it was always available.

I absolutely love that this location is just 10 min away from my home. Their hours are great if you want some fresh pastries for breakfast or want to grab some fresh bread after work to go with dinner. On this occasion I was getting breakfast treats and got some classics ( almond, chocolate , and cinnamon roll croissants) and got something crazy a mango jalapeño danish. All were good my favorite was the cinnamon roll croissant. I also think the sourdough rolls are great you can get a whole or half loaf and the baguettes are amazing! They also have a small area that has produce, meats, cheeses, and snacks. Almost forgot to mention there is also coffee and ice cream.

I love the cocoa brownie (not too sweet) and the chai lattes here! 10/10 recommend. Plus they have a small assortment of groceries for your convenience!

A favorite as always!! Amelia's is my go to stop anytime I am craving a quick bite or midday snack. My personal favorite are the croissants (all kinds)!! The chocolate and plain are wonderful, but the specialty ones are my go-to! The specialty croissants change up every few months and recently the vegetarian one changed to an heirloom tomato with herbed ricotta filled croissant - IT WAS INCREDIBLE!! The filling was so flavorful and paired so well with the soft, but flaky crust. This is a must try! They also have a new danish with candied jalapeño and mango chutney that I will be trying next time. As always, the staff is so wonderful! Amelia's also serves as a great study spot with large tables and not too loud of music for anyone looking to get some work done. All around a great place to check out!

Amelia's excellence carried over to the Stutz building. Everything was immaculate and of course everything we bought was a 10/10. The girls working there were super friendly and helped make suggestions- we couldn't decide which pastries we wanted (we ended up with 4 different ones lol). Price is good, $3-$5 per pastry, bread loves were inexpensive for fresh baked bread. Lots of grocery items too! So glad to have this Amelia's close by. I imagine lots of afternoon walks for one of their amazing cookies.

I love the coffee here AND their dark chocolate brownies. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. I take half the sugar and they're always careful and caring with my order. Coffee is always delicious - and not so hot you burn your face off- and they have seasonal drinks too. Their chocolate brownies are so dark chocolate that they're actually black. They're amazing. Give them a try !!

We already knew that this new Amelia's location in The Stutz would be incredible. Their location in Fletcher Place churns up the freshest loaves of breads, unique pastries, and the top chocolate chip cookie in the state (according to Yelp reviews). This time around, we opted for the cinnamon roll croissant, GenCon-themed lemon bar, chocolate chip cookie, and city loaf. They have a local market inside too with lots of canned drinks, snacks, ingredients and more. We were excited to see San Pellegrino, Hu Chocolate, Matiz Spanish sardines, Route 11 potato chips, and more. We also thought their loaves of bread were very reasonably priced -- about $8 each for a good sized loaf. They have different loaves daily and they last until they run out, but you can also order on their website too. In The Stutz building specifically, Amelia's is located on a cute alleyway with twinkle lights, next to Barista Parlor coffee shop and across the alley from new Julieta Taco Shop. There are little outdoor tables and Amelia's also has inside tables and bar seating along the windows as well. The wide windows bring in a lot of light and make it really beautiful in there. In terms of parking, there is a decent amount of street parking and a lot that is only a few dollars to park in. My only note for improvement would be that the people behind the counter seemed in a hurry and asked what we wanted as soon as we walked in. I would've bought a lot more if I'd had a few more seconds to look in the display case and actually read the menu. We also asked which bread is the most popular and they immediately said the name of one without describing it or recommending others too, so we just kind of blindly went for that one. It was delicious of course, but I would have loved to buy more to try and will next time!
