AMC CLASSIC Columbus 12

I was looking for fun for our family during Christmas break and found tickets for this theater on Groupon. It was 75% of what I would have paid going to an updated AMC. Yea there were no recliners and the chairs were well loved. My family saw Sonic 3 and were pleased with the theater for the cost. The employees were great and it made for an affordable outing.

Seats were uncomfortable, staff members were slow and things were unorganized. Glad we don't come here often.

This place has really gone downhill over the past decade, but it's now at an all-time low. If there weren't cars out in the parking lot I would have thought the place was abandoned because the grass was about 2ft. tall.During the movie the top/bottom curtains weren't pulled back all the way and we're blocking the screen. You couldn't read the bottom row of subtitles and the tops of everyone's heads were cut off.The AMC Board of Directors would be sick to their stomach if they saw this AMC. I'd recommend either going to YES downtown or drive up to the AMC in Southport.

In October 2018 I posted several photos on my Facebook page and the post went viral. The theater is absolutely filthy, with many of the stalls, hand dryers, soap dispensers, drink dispensers, and theater seats missing or out of order. There was food everywhere, the theaters weren't being fully cleaned between shows, and there were 3 womens stalls with blood smeared on the seats and floors. The then-manager contacted me and asked me to come back in 2 months to see the changes. I did (at my expense) and it was just as bad. I went back with my book club last week and it was awful. Everyone who had the popcorn felt sick after, the theater smelled and the lights stayed on until 15 minutes into the movie when someone finally went to tell them about it. The individual theaters no longer have signs above them so you don't know which is which theater unless you look at your ticket. The bathrooms are in really sad shape. I was asked to go with a group to see the manager but I declined. My understanding is that they got nowhere with him. He just nodded and said thanks. Our community deserves better. I always go to YES if the film is there, but they have limited screens and don't get all movies.

Popcorn was fantastic, the sound system was great and the screens were nice too. The seats were old school but I enjoyed the throwback nostalgia! The popcorn butter machines were slow to work and the theater was messy in spots.. but can you beat 5 dollars a ticket?? I'd definitely still recommend highly!

This theater needs a remodel. The seats are very worn and it smelled in the area where our movie if choice was being shown. The floor in the theater was extremely sticky and all through the movie I had to pull my shoes up off the floor. When we got ready to leave my shoes were stuck to the floor and I fell forward and had to catch myself on the seat in front of me. Same with the person I was with. The bathroom was absolutely filthy. The fixtures are so old they just can't be cleaned any longer and made to look and feel sanitary. I would need to know with certainty that this place has been thoroughly remodeled before I return.

This is gotta be the most disgusting movie theater I have ever been to in my life. Our first visit was fine, however today's visit was pitiful. The lobby had concessions doing tickets, so the line was crazy long. The bathrooms had piss and toilet paper all over the floor. Along with most of the urinals being out of order. The lobby was covered in trash and stunk horribly. The theater seating was covered it stains and floors were sticky. Tried talking to the manager on our way out and we got was "Ok.".Needless to say I spent 25 dollars to walk out during the previews and get nothing in return but the need to shower. So if you want piss on your shoes, gnats flying in your face, and a warm musty setting this is the place for you.

Very old outdated theater. It felt "dirty" and smelled like old nasty carpet. We were in Indiana for the weekend and this was the closest theater, definitely NOT what I am used to. Not a place I would return to.The employees were nice.

Definitely getting dirtier as time goes and people care less. Though the worst part about AMC is being forced to watch Nicole Kidman "ACT" like she goes to the movies. It's atrocious.

This place is filthy. The seats are so worn down and dirty. it cost nearly $100 for tickets and popcorn for 3 people. I'd expect the theatre to be somewhat decent. I'm very disappointed.
