Almost Famous

A fan favorite for amazing crafted cocktails and food! The ambiance is very old-rich-money-sophisticated vibes that make it cozy and intimate. Staff were very professional and welcoming. Really enjoyed my fried chicken, perfect balance of tender juicy chicken with the fried crust on the outside. The Mac n cheese was Mac n cheesing for sure. 10/10 coming back in a heartbeat!

I recently visited Almost Famous during their Christmas pop-up, and it was such a festive and fun experience! The drinks are always creative and perfectly themed for the season. My favorite this year was the coquito. While it reminded me of the Puerto Rican coquito I know and love, it had its own unique twist. It wasn't exactly the same, but it was delicious, and I'd definitely order it again.The atmosphere is magical, with all the Christmas lights and decor creating a cozy holiday vibe. I also loved that they played Christmas movies--it added such a charming touch. Another fun surprise was learning that you can purchase the adorable Christmas mugs if you'd like!If you're looking for a place to get into the holiday spirit, this is it. I can't wait to go back next Christmas season!

Almost Famous is an absolute standout! The eccentric and vivid ambience immediately sets the tone for a fun experience, and the service is spot on. Marcus, the bartender, has a real talent for listening to what you want and surprising you with a drink you didn't even know you needed--definitely ask for his recommendations!The food is delicious, especially during their great happy hour on Sundays (and possibly other days too). One thing to note, though: the bar stools are super comfortable, but I found them a bit tall for the granite bar top--something to keep in mind if you're on the shorter side.Oh, and the bathrooms? Super cute! The pink tile is absolutely adorable--I seriously want it in my house.Also, be sure to check the hours before heading out, but when they're open, this place is absolutely worth the visit!

Absolutely love almost famous. Great spot for cocktails and good energy. Service is kind and quick. Espresso martinis are great as well. The decor and inside is cool and they decorate really fun for holidays

LOVE LOVE LOVE Almost Famous! My best friend and I cannot be swayed in our decision that they make the best espresso martinis in Indianapolis. They are always perfect.We stopped in here late on a Saturday night and they were playing Supernatural on the projector screen on stage (my favorite comfort show) and my bestie and I had some dirty martinis + espresso martinis while our counterparts split a bottle of Prosecco.Every time we stop at Almost Famous I have a great time. The bathroom decor is also super fun and I always crack up at the Michael Scott quote that is in both bathrooms. I wholeheartedly recommend this bar to anyone who hasn't already tried them! My next mission is to stop in here during their brunch hours...

Delicious drinks every time! They have coffee as well- we went for my husbands birthday after dinner and we ordered some oysters and they were good! Tasted very fresh and the champagne sauce was delicious!! The wines are always our go to and soooo good! Definitely recommend the rose! Ambiance is very chic and doesn't even feel like you're in Indiana. The service is good. You can always go to metro / tini or wild eye dab lounge afterwards for a fun night out !

I love how this bar is decorated. it's a small venue but very chic and cozy . it did take us a while to get noticed and serviced however . but hey , it was a saturday night . they have a large screen on the wall with a stage in front . i assume they may have karaoke or performances at times. the have an extensive drink menu with a few small bites . the drinks were very strong and reasonably priced .

An Indianpolis must! Tapas on Mass? Where else!I've viewed Almost Famout several times and had it on my list to try for Sunday brunch. Tapas! Brunch! Happy Hour! Drag shows! Awesome atmosphere! It did not disappoint. Sat at the bar rail and enjoyed a cocktail, oysters, shrimp and kale dip...all were fantastic. My favorite was dragging the crostini from the kale dip through the shrimp jus and then dipping in kale dip.The atmosphere is awesome, and details down to saucers and flatware, wall decor, posters!. Service excellent, the owner enlightened us on its history as the old comedy club, his opportunity during the pandemic to expand after purchasing Tini's next door...It's on my list to visit on the reg and check out their events page and follow on social.

This is the cutest little bar, however, the experience that I had here will probably make me not come back. 3 friends and I came here for cocktails. We didn't know a drag show would be going on about an hour after we arrived. The server informed us when we sat down and asked if we'd be staying. We asked if we could think on it for a moment. She came back and asked again and we decided to stay. We ordered our drinks and when she brought them back she said we actually had to leave because they sold out all the tables. At this point the show was starting and we had to chug down our drinks and leave because people were waiting for our table. We wish the server would have told us this before serving us our drinks.

Live that place just tried it this week and the food was great and the cost was even better...Will be going there again. Real soon and recommend it to all my friends
