Across from the pay parking on Westfield Blvd is a tiny shop that is literally on the alley. During warmer months, they even bring some of their items out into the alley during store hours. Inside the shop, you will find nice quality items like furniture, paintings, and some knick knacks. During the winter months, the business is making the most of some available space at the corner of Westfield and Guilford. In that annex, there are lamps, clothing, and more small items that might work in a collection or as a gift. The only negative is that the supply is rather small compared with other antique shops. I'm not sure how quickly the inventory turns over, so you'll just have stop by to see whether they have what you're looking for.Review #2279

While the store hours and space is extremely limited, the quality items in stock make it worth the wait. I recently bought several beautiful vintage planters complete with succulents for about $10 (and have kept them alive)! If you're looking for a unique lamp or gift, they've got you covered. Just don't wait too long before making your decision, or it could be gone when you return. Friendly staff and excellent mid century wares right off the beaten path. No really, its in the alley, right across the street from Flatwater. Go check it out!

Stopped by this place on a whim while walking by exploring the neighborhood. Currently they're doing some renovations, so they are temporarily at the unmarked space on the corner. Their selection is small, but you can tell it's been carefully curated and their prices are very very reasonable. I'm only passing by in town so there's no need for me to purchase any furniture or housewares, but I did pick up an cool pair of vintage khaki culottes by L.L. Bean for only $8! I spoke with the lady who was running the store and she was super sweet and I admire her taste. So cool being able to stop by a place like this in the neighborhood!

It's always nice to see random pop-up-esque shops in the area. Alley Girls is just that. It's nothing large or extensive, so don't expect to find a ton of options. It's nice that they put stuff outside as it enticed us to go inside and check out their products. Their products are cute, some stuff is original and new, some stuff is the stuff you see everywhere and can make on your own. Would I go back? Yes. How often? Every season. Why? It was pretty small in size and I'd like to give it a few months before I went back to check out their new selections based on the seasons. Cute stuff though!

There are a few things in life that can be way too complicated. And there are things that as so simple you can't believe it. Carter's makes things simple. Authentic, unique, beautifully restored, and most of all affordable furniture that you can take home with you today to make your humble abode look great. My Yelper-in-crime and I stopped in after a word-of-mouth tip led us to this ally-way used furniture shop. We were amazed at the array of cool, funky furniture that you really don't see anywhere but the movies or Mad Men. In less than 10 minutes we had two pieces of furniture in the car. The ladies who own it are nice as pie and will help you with anything. They have an awesome selection and their stock is always rotating. If you find yourself in need of some cheap, nice looking house stuff, stop by Carter's. If you're into retro decor from yesteryear, take a peek in Carter's. If you don't have a ton of cash for a coffee table, Carter's can help you. If you are just rambling through Broad Ripple with nothing better to do - yeah, go waste some time at Carter's. This place is awesome, can't wait for what I'll find next.

Very small yet well curated consignment featuring refurbished furniture, so keep this in mind if you're looking for pieces to DIY. With that said, there were a few small cabinets inside that I felt could use a little more TLC in terms of modernizing, but in great working condition. The place is hard to miss, even though it's in an "alley," a rather large alley, mind you. It can be easily seen from E. Westfield BLVD. Many of the surrounding restaurants will text you when your table's ready which enables you to venture out and explore places like this. With that, there's a lot of traffic moving in and out of this little place.Inside music's always playing on an old record player. You'll find dishes, lamps, smaller table top decor, records (which you can test on the player), art prints and posters, nursery items, to name a few, and of course the aforementioned furniture. Rocking chairs, dinette sets circa 1970s, end tables and small cabinets where there during my July 2015 visit.

Great little place to pick up those odds and ends you just can't find anywhere. Got a steal on some chairs that are usually 3x the price. Super charming place. Just wish there was more of it.

This store is about as good as it gets for vintage/antique furniture. The "Alley Girls" spice everything up but keep it at a reasonable price point that can fit just about anyone's budget! The owners are also friendly and understanding. It's not like buying from a typical furniture store - these are real people who understand their product and want the best for you. I purchased a table and two chairs from here and I have gotten many compliments on it and enjoy sitting at it each night. Stop in - you don't know what you'll find!
