Alexander's on the Square- Cicero

This is just a little ice cream stand next to the Boathouse. That's no inside seating, but there are numerous picnic tables in the grass.My milkshake was good and it came out fast (less than 3 minutes).

Perfect stop on such a hot day! Server happily let us try a flavor before buying. I got the strawberry which was delicious. Got it in a waffle cone, which was ok, unfortunately stale in some parts but the strawberry ice cream made up for it. Recommend stopping by if you're walking around the area or need a refresher from boating.

Love the ambiance/atmosphere! Super chill. We were visiting this town and nearby area and were really craving ice cream and this place hit the spot!

Travel through area often, Very busy Ice Cream shop. Always have had good service and excellent Ice Cream. Would recommend to anyone passing through area. One block off bridge. Picnic tables shaded by Trees.Loved the waffle Cones.

Great spot to stop at if you are boating on Morse! Plenty of free dock space, climb the stairs and cross the street to Alexander's and choose from their extensive moderately priced ice cream treat menu! They have a TON of choices! There truly is something for everyone. They have picnic tables and outdoor seating which is nice everything is made to order and it's nice to support a local ice cream shop especially after a hot day of boating!

If you want to get ice cream and then walk over to watch a summer sunset over Morris reservoir, this is the place. The ice cream is good. Yes there is a line, but if there wasn't, you wouldn't want to go. That's called Baskin Robbins. No line, cause no one goes, because it's just bad. Got it? Good!

Our order was not what we wanted. They gave us soft serve ice cream instead of a hard scoop. I told the girl at the window that it wasn't what we wanted. She told me that the hard ice cream cost more . I told her that I'd pay the difference. She told me that they wouldn't remake it because it was made they way that the ticket was put in by the cashier. She said that I'd have to pay for a whole new ice cream. At that point, I gave up, threw it in the trash and we left. Terrible customer service. I left feedback with the business through my emailed receipt, but no response. . .

Used to love Alexander's!NOW DONT WASTE YOUR TIME.They're SLOW and our order was wrong as well as half melted because it sat on the counter while the kid filled the ice cream machine then proceeded to forget about our order. So disappointing...

Awful. The service was SO bad. One of the employees was on there phone the entire time. The staff was so rude. I overheard a frustrated customer. He said he had been waiting there for 45 for a burger! It took one of the employees over 15 minutes to make a small soft serve! I love supporting small businesses and all but if it's like this I definitely will not be back. WORST experience ever!

The ice cream here is delicious. Which is almost enough to distract you from the incompetent service that will keep you from getting it in any reasonable timeframe. Block off half an hour for the 3-car drive-thru line. Maybe pick up dinner to keep you occupied in the line. Picked a day there's no line? They might tell you, as they did today, "they're closing (3 hours) early and no can't take your cash or serve another scoop." Unreal.
