Fantastic time with Alcomy! We had a group of 8 for a birthday celebration and booked a mixology in-home class. Ben, our cocktail extraordinaire for the evening, was great! Ben came with all the needed items to make cocktails and is an absolute expert mixologist! We chose a Smoked Bourbon Old Fashioned (lots of bourbon enthusiasts here) and a Mai Tai (for a few of us that aren't). The Mai Tai will be a staple drink in our house going forward (I'm not the bourbon person). The best I've ever had!!! We all learned something new about making cocktails. Educational and entertaining! Thanks Brett and we look forward to doing this again!!!

I learned about Alcomy through the 2020 Yelpies online event. We were given a small bottle of gin in our swag bags and then had the option of ordering an Alcomy elixir through Market Wagon (or you could pick up a bunch of ingredients, but who wants do to that when you have a mix ready to go?!). Brett walked us through the steps of how to make one of his signature cocktails during the online event, and it was so much fun to see all the steps broken down. Alcomy sells several different flavors that I can't wait to try. I had the Malibu Sunset (lemon, orange, raspberry, hibiscus, and rosemary), but you can also get Old Fashioned, Spicy Basil Margarita (umm, YUM), Blue Velvet and Blackberry Smash. The Malibu Sunset mix was perfection with gin, but I could also see it being amazing with vodka.Brett also does mixology classes, which I think sound like a blast. I could see doing something like that on zoom during COVID, but I also can't wait to book an in-person class once social distancing restrictions are eased.

The mixology class Brett runs is a fantastic value. His passion of using fresh ingredients and bringing local flavors into the drinks was energizing. We enjoyed sampling the ingredients and understanding how the flavors worked with each other. The presentation of tools and the creative ingredients in front of us was wonderful. Brett is like a fine chef showing you special inside tips from his kitchen. You get to practice right there with him and laugh with others in the group on your presentation and style. Loved the unique snacks and cheese too. I recommend this to friends, couples, and parties or even just a night to try something different.

What a fun class and great teacher! Brett was thoughtful, engaging and genuinely excited to involve everyone in the mixology class. Not only did he come with supplies, but also with unique, self-created recipes and ingredients, fun facts along the way and GREAT drinks! Can't wait to host another class!
