What an adorable spot in Fountain Square! Perfect for a lunch date with friends, there are some delicious options on the menu and a variety of chai.I had the butter chicken kati roll, which was warm and freshly prepared. Delicious flavors and comfort food on a cold day. I also got the house Masala Chai that was recommended by the person working there. A very mild flavor but I enjoyed it! Love all the decor and you can also buy loose leaf teas if you want to have it at home. Will be back to try the samosas and naan pizza!

Such a beautiful, unique spot in Fountain Square! Service is quick and friendly and it's a very cozy place to sit and work.I have visited a couple times and haven't quite found my perfect order yet - I think I haven't quite acquired the taste for authentic chai, I've only had super sweet iced lattes so far, but I have enjoyed trying different versions of my go-to coffee shop order, and I'm so happy to have them in the neighborhood.

Was in the area looking for a coffee shop with food and found A Cup of Chai. The interior is spacious and has an inviting atmosphere. I ordered the butter chicken Kati roll and a chai coffee. The coffee and food took a little while however I believe there was only one person working so I don't blame them. The Kati roll was simply a revelation and had such tender spiced chicken while the accompanying butter sauce was creamy, robust and utterly satisfying. The bread (Paratha) was buttery and surprisingly flaky. I will certainly be coming back to try their Naan Pizza which looks incredible.

Ordered the nimbu pani and it was ok. Too much masala. Didn't taste very minty and not enough lemons. Lots of seating and good lighting. Great service!

Chai flight was fun! Excellent way to sample a variety of their chai tea. Need to go back and try their food. Plenty of seating inside. Free street parking out front.

It was very exciting to see a spacious cafe in downtown dedicated to Chai...however, the moment I tasted first sip, my hopes came crashing down. The masala chai is the onlyChai which is available as vegan which is okay but it was premade and served reheated and reheated to not even a warm temperature and was quite bitter and strong, which comes from reheating the same brewed tea again and again. This is very disappointing and lazy. If its a cafe dedicated to chai, thats the one thing they should be making fresh religiously. The service was quick as there was no wait ok a Saturday and they barely reheated and served it. I would rather prefer a 5 min wait but a fresh chai.

So cute, so clean, and the person running the store was so patient and helpful. He even gave us free Samoas when we closed the place down at 2PM!If you want some delicious chai, some nice little finger snacks, this is your little spot nestled out of the way.

TLDR: cute, cozy, tasty, and affordable!I was running awkwardly early for a hair appointment and saw this place across the street and decided to try! I wish I had looked at the menu more because I feel like I missed out on an even better choice. I quickly ordered a basic Oatmilk latte and while it is wonderful I cannot wait to go back and try more! The lovely man behind the counter was so kind and helpful! The couches and tables lend to the perfect spot to hang out

My girl and I got beverage. Me: RoohAfha (rose drink) iced and pink. Quite refreshing! Can't wait to try moreHer: Haldi dudh (Golden Latte) hot tea/latte. Also really good!We also got the Samosa Smash (the sign at the register told us "you must try". That was DELICIOUS! Will 100% be getting again. Sweet with a little spicy, had some crunch In there. Perfect amount. Would prob go very well with pita crips/naan to scoop with. Even without, so good. Love it.

I've this place. The Chicken Kati Roll is always excellent. I get the rose drink and every time I take the first sip and am hit with the floral flavor, I think I've made a mistake, but it's never a mistake. It's so good. It just takes a second to get used to it.
