First time at this hall and my first time at the Women In Energy conference - a wonderful experience and a well put together event! I had a great time, met such wonderful people and learned so much! I can't wait for next years event! Oh, the food was great as well - well, the chocolate cake was not the best but the snickerdoodle cookies were AMAZING!

Taste of Carmel event offered chance to see a few areas and was impressed with layout and space. Was a full event but from start to finish never felt cramped and rooms stayed cleared throughout evening. Parking was free and easy to reach off Keystone.

While exploring new venues for the EFRC Annual Auction we decided to research 502 East Event Centre. We were excited at the thought of being back in Carmel after several years away. The parking area is conveniently located close to the Event Centre. Upon entering the parking area we noticed it's a shared parking lot. If there were multiple, large events I could see a potential parking issue. We were told this is the largest venue space in Carmel so we could only conclude parking hasn't been an issue. The foyer is impressive at 6,000 square feet and the large windows provide an abundance of natural lighting. The gorgeous chandeliers, rich color schemes and decor sets an elegant theme for any event. The foyer size alone allows for multiple functions of the space from weddings, conference check-in, and cocktail hour, space for signage or exhibits and can adapt too many ideas or needs. The entire ballroom can accommodate up to 1,175 people with a total square footage of 18,705 square feet. There are 4 ballrooms with moveable walls making each floor plan flexible for any size or type of event. The 4 individual ballrooms range from maximum seating from 230 to 325 people and each has an individual bar area. The smallest ballroom is 3,480 square feet to the largest of 5,133 square ft. 4 individual business rooms are available for meetings ranging from the Board Room seating 10 to the Eller Room seating 150 people with 2,440 square feet. A 700 square feet Business Center is available as well. The facility has high-speed Wi-Fi and provides onsite A/V equipment along with tech support. If you're considering for a wedding, you'll be offered a Groom and Bridal Suite. Step one was complete and they could provide everything we needed. 502 East is operated and provides catering exclusively by Jonathan Byrd's. We've all heard of Jonathan Byrd's and know their long history and excellent reputation. The Chef pointed out the example of the upscale corporate menus on-line while making it clear he could customize the menu to our needs. He was attentive and noted our past menus which were well received by our past Supporters. He covered they use the freshest ingredients while using several local, Indy businesses such as Goose the Market. The photos of past events reflected delicious and beautiful art creations. Unfortunately after several meetings we couldn't find a good fit within our food budget. This was the only issue we encountered and of course we had to move on to the next venue space. Everyone we worked with was professional, friendly and we could tell they pride themselves on executing a perfect event.

Nice venue! Big rooms with plenty of parking. Clean and I like that it's not so big that you can't find your way

I recently attended a conference at 502 East. For Carmel-ites, this used to be The Fountains, and it's gotten quite the upgrade. Signs in the spacious lobby pointed me to the correct ballroom. The room was conducive for presentations, with round tables set up in half moons so no guest had to awkwardly twist around in their chair to see. The lunch provided by Jonathan Byrd's Catering was top notch (build your own Asian noodle salad along with trio of dessert options). My complaints are that the room was FREEZING (to the point that in the afternoon it was really bothersome) and the lack of natural light/windows in this particular ballroom. When I'm inside a room for a conference all day, I prefer (if possible) to see the light of day - which I know isn't always feasible with different arrangements. Other than that, I thought 502 was a solid venue.

Apparently, this is the largest event space in Carmel. So if you're planning a large event in Carmel and you need a lot of room, you might want to consider 502 East.I was here for Taste of Carmel, which is a huge event. There were a lot of people in the event center, but it didn't feel obscenely crowded. The venue was beautiful and tasteful, and everything was kept tidy throughout the event (even the restrooms!).One of the downsides is that, while the parking lot is large, it's also shared with many other busy businesses.

I've attended Susan Komen's annual Survivor lunch here the past 2 years and love the decor and the food is always delicious. I like the fact that we can have a meet and greet in a separate room than the dining hall. Beautiful decor plus friendly staff and great food equals a great place to hold any event large or small

Excellent event venue, plenty of parking. Clean facility with sanitation's stations throughout. It looks like it can host a large conference and at the same time dedicate a room for a small meeting - up to 50 people.

I came to this place for a wedding and my goodness, it was a WONDERFUL time! The venue was beautiful and I loved the chairs. There were two built in bars in the room space and a dance floor located right in front of the head table. The linens were stunning and the food was so amazing! Their chicken was to die for - which was really surprising at a venue for a wedding - sometimes hit or miss. Anyhoo, the staff was extremely helpful and the bathrooms were really nice. There were two weddings going on at once and you could barely even notice! It was a GREAT time and great venue!!! Absolutely flawless!

I just came back from a wedding reception event at this place. The place is very poorly managed. The power was off the whole time as there was a thunderstorm. Unfortunately 502 does not have any contingency plan. They didn't know how to get a generator! They don't have any risk management plan. It is interesting that the solar panel didn't work at the same time of the power failure - is it not too coincidental? Moreover, the staff were extremely rude. Hight if misbehave with the guests while everyone was sweating like crazy. It might be a cheap place but try to avoid, seriously!
