This was my third visit to 101 Craft Kitchen (formerly 101 Beer Kitchen), and once again, it did not disappoint. We hosted our monthly department meeting for nine people, and the service was exceptional from start to finish. Our server, Tori (sp?), was incredibly attentive and impressively memorized all our drink and food orders without a single mistake!I started with an Espresso Martini, which was the perfect late-night drink. For appetizers, we shared a variety of delicious options, including the Butternut Squash Pierogis (my new favorite), Loaded Tots, Pepperoni Calabrese Flatbread, Fried Plantains, and Loaded Guacamole. All of the appetizers were flavorful and perfect for sharing among a group of nine. For dinner, I had the Seared Salmon, and it was by far one of the best salmon dishes I've had in the Midwest. It was served with roasted brussels sprouts, brown butter gnocchi, mushrooms, shallots, butternut squash purée, and maple vinaigrette. I couldn't even take leftovers home (unfortunately), but I left feeling completely satisfied. The atmosphere was relaxing and fun, with dimmed lighting that set the perfect mood for our gathering. 101 Craft Kitchen continues to impress every time!

With a recent name change, 101 Craft Kitchen is an elevated casual dining experience with a luxury cabin vibe. The wooden panels and relaxed lighting provide a comfortable ambiance. I came in around lunch time on a rather dreary Saturday, so it wasn't very crowded and I got very quick and very friendly service. I had even had two managers come by to ask about my experience with the restaurant, which is a nice touch - I love when the managers check on patrons, which shows pride in their business. They have brunch on Saturdays and Sundays 10-3, so I got the Italian toast. I like how it's a nice and light plate. The eggs served scrambled are delightfully creamy. I did notice that their cold brew coffee is a bit tart, but I believe that it comes from an external source and they do not make it in house. I would love to try their almond orange macchiato variety of coffee another time!

Great restaurant. We got there right as happy hour was ending but had no problem getting a table right away. We had a spacious booth right outside the bar area. Our waitress was very kind and attentive. Food was very good. Not pictured was a wedge salad we ordered with steak, which was cooked perfectly (medium rare)

Ehh. They're really trying hard with all the combinations of flavors on all of the menu items. Everything was OK nothing really stood out to any of us. And it cost me a fortune.

I got the curried couscous bowl with blackened mahi mahi! It was so delicious. Very flavorful. Mahi mahi was a bit small but I suppose to be expected in the Midwest. Would definitely go for chicken next time!Service was great, friendly and fast. I was honestly surprised how much I enjoyed this place. Would recommend!

My last review in Sept was 5 stars, and we've been here once since that I think I forgot to review, and just came back again in Dec '24. So it does seem like we get back here every 6 weeks or so. I find the food always pretty tasty. Table service is always very pleasant, although can sometimes take a while, as I've seen a few occasions where they are definitely understaffed. This last time in was a Saturday night, but a bit early. The hostess seemed a little miffed that we didn't have reservations (which we've never done). We got a table in the way back, and our young waitress was very friendly.Hubs had the 101 Wedge salad with chicken. When they brought it, I could tell it was not what he expected (i.e, a big wedge), as this is romaine hearts, which is what the menu states so I as not surprised. But it did look significantly small. He ate the whole thing pretty quickly. I had the griddled short rib sandwich with caramelized mushrooms, cheese & au jus, plus the truffle fries, and both were very tasty. I also had a seasonal beer with it that I can't remember what it was -- something with "holiday" in the name holly jolly! -- - and it was a #yum. #ReviewsByRL

The service was the beat part. Our server was amazing. The food was really good as well. The 101 Burger was good, but the Parmesan fries were incredible. The loaded guacamole is a must for an appetizer. We sat in the outside extended area, which was decent. The TV was on the Fritz but it was warm and comfortable.

I met up with an old friend here on a Monday evening, and honestly, I was surprised at how busy it was. Our server was super kind and patient, which was much appreciated since we were definitely taking our sweet time chatting and catching up. We both ordered glasses of wine to start and decided to share the pretzels as an appetizer. They were warm, soft, and hit the spot--definitely a good choice. For dinner, my friend went with the highly recommended wedge salad with grilled chicken, which she loved. I went with the brown butter gnocchi, and it was amazing very rich and comforting. We also got the shareable parm fries, which were good but a little lacking in the parm department. I was hoping for a bit more flavor there, but everything else was great.Overall, we had a good time with good food, good wine, and solid service. I'll be back!

Our server was fantastic - just the right amount of attentive, while giving us space to chat. He was personable and had fabulous food suggestions. The drinks and food were on point; fresh, flavorful and well presented. It was girls night and we decided to split several items (highly recommend) and the kitchen was kind enough to plate our salad already divided. The banana foster was a delightful way to end the evening. Book your next date night or girls night out for 101 Beer Kitchen. You won't be disappointed!

Oh boy, where do I even start? If you're looking for a restaurant that treats you like a massive inconvenience the second you walk in the door, 101 Craft Kitchen is the place for you!We arrived at 4:50 PM on a Saturday (you know, that time of day when most places are gearing up for dinner service), only to be told that they couldn't possibly seat us without a reservation. Okay, fine--except for the fact that the restaurant was half empty and tables were literally clearing from lunch service. But no, apparently, logic does not apply here. Then came the real kicker: They told us we could sit if we promised to be done in 20 minutes. TWENTY MINUTES. To eat a meal. With a six-month-old baby in tow. I actually thought they were joking at first, but no--they repeated themselves six separate times, as if the issue was that we just weren't understanding their ridiculous policy. And just when we thought we were in some alternate reality where dining out required signing a time-sensitive contract, they sat a table right before us, no issue whatsoever.Oh, and let's not forget the unsolicited lecture about how some brand new event center nearby has totally changed their ability to seat people (???) and how if you don't have a reservation, you should only bother coming Monday through Thursday. Excuse me--how is that our problem? Maybe post that on your website instead of cornering your customers and making them feel like idiots for thinking they could just... eat dinner at your restaurant.Bottom line: If you enjoy being talked down to, lectured, and treated like you're crashing a private event rather than trying to support a local business, this is the place for you! Otherwise, do yourself a favor and take your money somewhere that actually wants it.
