"We decided to spend the night here for our 55th anniversary. We were given a nice room overlooking Christ Church that reminded us of a New Year's Eve we spent here decades ago. The room wasn't huge but that was typical of the era when this club was built. Robes are a nice addition and the bathroom is a good size with a walk in shower. As other reviews have mentioned, don't expect a Hilton or JW. Do expect personality!Dinner was lovely. I started with crab cakes (good but not hot enough temp) followed by Lamb Loins with Dauphinoise potatoes and brown butter broccolini.. the Lamb is heavenly, the potatoes are lovely and the broccolini is also very good.RRR had the Caesar salad, good but needs more lemon for him. He also had the Dover sole, prepared table side by out outstanding wait s to add, Stephen. Very good but very buttery. His asparagus was wonderful, potatoes also good.Speaking of Stephen, he made a good experience great, worth his weight in gold."
"The family and family like patrons make this the perfect place to eat and get together. Great service, great food and kids have a many good choices for dinner. I can't wait to go here again."
"Best Sushi place I've tried in all of Indiana. service is great, food is delicious, ambiance is lovely, and it's reasonably priced."
"My husband and I had a great experience with Thomas Caterer's of Distinction. We had our wedding ceremony and reception outside at the Black Iris Estate in June of 2018. Other than the hot weather, everything was perfect. The process leading up to our wedding day was seamless and stress free. Everything was taken care of the day of the event and it was even more beautiful than we expected. The food was amazing as well as the specialty cocktails we were able to add. I would highly recommend this venue, their staff and catering for any event."
"Great place to live downtown. For me the best amenities would be living above the Marsh and being within a block of the canal walk. The management is very friendly. The building is a mix of working professionals, students, and empty nesters. The SkyBar on the roof has an incredible city view. I'm not a pool person, but the one here is a ten for sure. If you have guests staying from out of town they even have apartments you can reserve for a super reasonable rate!"
"This place is great! It's close to work and the food is great. I'm on my second visit. Both times I have gotten the Fat Bastard. You gotta try it, it's awesome."
"I am a BIG fan of the smoked turkey here. It's really delicious and lean. Get the turkey sandwich and upgrade to Texas toast...worth it. I love having all the different bbq sauces on the side to dip. The banana pudding always slaps! The potato salad is also really good. Not a huge fan of the Mac and cheese or corn bread. I've had brisket and pulled pork here too that was also really nice. It's not cheap, but it's totally worth it. I also feel like the sandwiches are a much cheaper way to get some great bbq!"
"This is probably one of my favorite places to eat in Indiana . And likely the closest to southern cooking you will find. It's not a large buffet but there is more than plenty to eat. Their pan fried chicken is delicious as is there freshly cooked vegetables and sides. This is definitely a not to miss place if you find yourself close to Terre Haute. It's about 30 minutes or so south of Terre Haute."
"This is a great seafood option in the area. They have options of what level Cajun spice or no spice like garlic butter or lemon. We got the snow crab and shrimp boil. It comes with a red potato and small corn on the cob. It's pretty messy but they give you a bib and gloves. Plus a wipe for after you meal. A small bucket to place you crab shells and shrimp shells in. They also have options of Po boy sandwiches and fried fish and other fried food options. Smaller dine in area. Staff of following Covid protocols. If you are wanting some seafood but not wanting to fried stuff at captain D's or Long John Silvers. This is a much better and tastier option. They give you some crab crackers for your crab legs but some of those little crab forks or crab cracking hook would be helpful. A good plus at this location is Greaters is next door for dessert."
"Outstanding food! Outstanding an amazing friendly service. I like to come first thing in the morning and get eggs Benedict with sausage added. It is so good. The atmosphere is very chill so early in the morning."
"Was in Lebanon for an appointment and stopped in here for the first time. The doughnuts were amazing as was the coffee. I can see why this is a Lebanon institution and I'll be back for lunch!"
"Great place on the Southside of downtown Lafayette. Authentic Mexican specialties with a full grill thrown in. I had tacos and ceviche and highly recommend both. Also had my share of PBR highboys. Service was very efficient and friendly. And the setting, while simple was authentic and friendly. Highly recommend!"

"Great little spot! We were visiting in town and looking to grab coffee at a little local place and this was what we found! Delicious brews, with fun latte flavors if that's what you're looking for. Lots of good non-dairy options for milk, which isn't always easy to find in Anderson, IN. The service was fast and kind, what more can you ask for?"
"We were in the neighborhood to try another taco truck for an event, but it wasn't there when we arrived. So we went looking for another and were so happy to find Taco Express. The two running it were so nice and efficient. We ordered for 6 people which you would think would take a bit longer, but we weren't waiting for maybe 10 minutes at the most. Once we got our food we were so delighted. Everything was super hot and fresh. Their tacos were amazing as well as their chimichangas. My personal favorite were the Chilaquiles. This definitely hit the spot. We'll be back!"
"I was photographing a cross country meet at Jay County High School, and I remembered that this restaurant wasn't far.It looked busy, so I figured it must be good. Sadly, Jinny's down the road in Bryant didn't make me want to return, even though it was recommended. As I found the front door, there was a large board full of specials. I'm not sure anyone could remember them since there were probably 20 of them. As I entered, a man picked up a couple of menus and asked me how many. I said one and held up a finger since he seemed to have two menus in his hand. He put down one of the menus and started telling me how it's better to go to a restaurant with someone else and proceeded to give me dating advice. :-DPerhaps, it was that I was still a bit wet from being out in the rain for 2+ hours but he sat me as far back as the building went. Maybe, that's where they put the outsiders when they can't put them outside. As I started with the menu, a waitress came to the table and asked if she could start me with a drink. As I fumbled for the drinks, she mentioned Pepsi products and I asked for a Diet Mountain Dew (no sugar for me right now). It wasn't very long and she returned. Many people were being seated at the time.I couldn't really decide because there were so many menu selections but chose a Corned Beef on Rye Sandwich. I asked for Swiss Cheese and Brown Mustard. "Sorry, but we don't have brown mustard. We've got regular mustard or Thousand Island Dressing." I wasn't in the Northeast, but Northeastern Indiana. Oops. I told her to please bring yellow mustard. At least, the sandwich came on rye bread. She named off a long list of side items, of which the sandwich came with one. I ordered potato salad, thinking that the Swiss influence of the town might provide something interesting, and I had not had potato salad since my mum died. Hers, and her mother's, was amazing, even though I don't care for anything with mayonnaise. It didn't take too long until she brought the food to my table. I tried the potato salad--it was the most bland I'd had anywhere. It seemed to be potatoes (Yes, VP Quayle from Indiana, that is the spelling.), mayonnaise, and shredded carrots without a spice of any kind. The corned beef sandwich was much better with good meat (not from a can, I believe) and a thin slice of cheese. The bread was also good. The waitress checked on me once after that. After finishing, I went to the cash register to pay, and to get change for a tip. I once again got dating advice. Since it was slightly more than 24 hours into my day, I think I walked away as he was talking, to deliver the tip to the table, and I then exited.I think if I return, I'd make different selections, or at least, take some brown mustard with me--and take someone else with me, maybe a huge group of people. :-D"
"Only been in the morning, but ambiance is very solid. Hot chocolate and muffin like $5, great Wi-Fi, plentiful places to plug in laptop. It's a regular stop for me now whenever I have to work in Richmond."
"The pulled pork is spot on and the bbq sauce is really good. I usually don't use sauce. But this is good."
"I'm so happy it's food truck season again and this is one of my favorites! They offer great sandwich and salad options! After indulging in way too much ice cream last night, I opted for the healthier Summer time salad and I was not disappointed. Fresh greens, giant strawberries, onions and pecans. Throw on some poppyseed dressing and I'm a happy girl!"
"Working with Shari and Anita was such a pleasure. They dealt with many of my wedding-party stressors with aplomb and patience, which was what I needed most. They were so good at taking my many ideas and helping to actualize and put the right team together to get the job done. My party was truly one of a kind and I felt like we worked so well as a team. It's true that wedding parties are the most stressful, but they made it the best it could possibly be, especially after firing the first party planner that didn't want to get her hands dirty. I was denied nothing with Moon Over Indy--we got everything figured out, they followed up on all the various elements, and in the end, people are still talking about how awesome our party was 6 months later (and I'm sure that will continue). Many thanks to the Moon Over Indy crew."
"We received a $10 off meal coupon as a gift and decided to check this place out. We are so glad that we did. First let me share that everything is homemade at this establishment and that makes it extra special for me. Knowing that they take that extra step means a lot. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. As a teacher it's his second job to help support his family, I appreciated how he made us feel welcomed and how he provided us with insight about the restaurant and their food. Clean, busy and friendly is how I would sum it up. Good food and drinks. We will return too!"
"Small little Oxford restaurant, the first time I came here around 2018 was for lunch and it was super busy, service was quick, and the food was great. This time returning, I came around 2pm, unfortunately I sat at the bar for around 10 minutes before I saw anyone working (I wondered if they were open or not?) but once I was seen by the bartender I was able to put in my order and it was made quickly. I got the BBQ Chicken salad, BBQ rub was fantastic and greens were fresh. Plenty of more menu items to try, if I'm ever back in the Oxford area, I'll be sure to come for dinner when there's a more lively crowd. Other unfortunate event was there was a drunk man wandering around the restaurant in the middle of the day and had to be cut off from buying drinks during the lunch time. I hope he's ok."
"I recently discovered my love for Greek food, so when I needed to find a place for dinner before going to the Olympic trials, I knew the Greek Islands was the perfect place. Located right outside of Lucas Oil Stadium in downtown Indy, it was a very convenient place for a quick bite before going to the swim meet. My mother and I decided to split a selection of appetizers in lieu of each ordering our own meals, and I think we made the right choice because we were able to sample many different traditional Greek dishes. I loved the gyro plate, especially the tenderness of the lamb meat and the refreshing cucumber-and-mint flavor of the tzatziki sauce. My mother ordered the Greek olives, and they were delicious on top of pita bread and drizzled with olive oil. We shared the Saganaki (flaming cheese), which I expected to just be a novelty, but it actually tasted very smoky and rich. I used it as a gyro topping and even tried some bites of it just plain! The only problem was that they were out of the lemon, chicken, and pasta soup, which my mother and I were looking forward to trying. Luckily, it wasn't that big of a deal because we still had lots of delicious food to make up for it. The severs were both very kind and attentive, and the service was efficient despite the restaurant being understaffed. I had a pleasant experience at the Greek Islands, and I am sure to be back for another affordable and authentic Mediterranean meal! Opa!"

TLDR: Solid kitchen + well preserved iconic building with beautiful architecture in the very heart of Indiana! How to eat here without membership: 1) Go to an event with some OG's (Venture Club of Indiana hosts at CC) 2) See which of your friends are local members 3) See if you or your friends' collegiate / country clubs have reciprocity 4) Hit them up and say you're interested in membership 5) They are open to public for DEVOUR INDY!Building (5/5): Everything about the Columbia Club screams old school from the moment you walk in. Everything is wood or marble and the fireplace is freaking huge. Its basically the country club clubhouse but dating back to 1888!Food: Not too shabby and prices are very reasonable! I've had both their catering in the past and their dining, both are very decent. From last night's dinner: 1) Bread Basket (3/5)-- Decent rolls & cheese crusted flatbread served warm, albeit with cold hard butter packets 2) Salad (5/5) -- Summer Berry Salad with Honey-Poppyseed Dressing, very elaborate salad with lots of berries and cute watermelon scoops!3) Calamari (5/5) -- Very crispy, well balanced with plenty of tentacles and served with white + red dipping options, decent value for a generous portion at $164) Pork Chop (NR) -- My girlfriend said the pork was well cooked, and the sauce paired well, I loved the potatoes "Berkshire Pork Chop with Blueberry Chipotle BBQ Sauce served with Dauphinoise Potatoes and Roasted Brussel Sprouts with Bacon Jam"5) Sweet Chili Glazed Salmon (4/5) -- Very nice cut of filet with beautiful skin but the center was quite dry, served over a bed of chewy barley & awesome butter drenched Broccolini6) Lava Cake (4/5) -- Can never go wrong, cake wasn't oozing but they serve it with a healthy dose of whip cream and glaze!Service (3/5): Gratuity is included Club / European style, and it was a bit stuffy but overall a great experience! Valet is $15 and the attendants are super cool, you're welcome to leave your car there while walking off your dinner!

Agree with the other 1 star review posted on yelp. We expressed disappointment. Got this email from the owner . Of note, at our event, nuts were served to an individual with anaphylaxis to nuts (which was clearly defined and discussed prior to the event). And a guest witnessed a waitress use the restroom and return to work without washing her hands. Lastly, when the bread tray was empty, a guest asked for it to be removed, it was placed by a waitress under the table....

Best apartments I've ever lived in. So many great features like a skybar and a gorgeous courtyard. They put out beautiful flowers for Easter! The hallways always smell wonderful. The people who work here are so friendly. And the apartment itself is a dream come true for me. Maintenance stays right on top of requests. I love it here Been here a few months and I still love everything about the place.

I went here with a buddy and his girlfriend who were in town from Georgia. We went with the Classic Philly and it did not disappoint. Perfect ratio of meat, cheese, veggies and mayo. This was my last meal before a major surgery, so I was making it count. Nice people and great small shop vibe. Tons of other things I want to try on the menu once I am recovered.

Food was good, and service even better. Reservations are recommended. Everything is buffet. Pan fried chicken, ham, ham balls, real mashed potatoes, green beans, corn on the cob, fresh fruit and salads. It is all fresh from their farm. The desserts are made daily. Excellent coconut cream pie!

"Just a friendly small town bar. I've only ever had wings here and never had a reason to order anything else. The wings are always delicious and cooked well. Great place to stop in for lunch. Staff was very friendly and the service was quick."
"WOW WOW WOW!!! This is one of my favorite seafood places in Indy. They have the best calamari and their chipotle aioli is to die for. Their sushi is also amazing and so fresh, as you can watch the chefs make your sushi behind the counter. The staff is so friendly and answers any questions you may have."
"This sports bar and grill on Cincy's west side, just a couple minutes off of Colerain Ave, is the perfect spot to grab a nice meal and wet your whistle before the big game. The place is very clean and the staff, friendly. They offer daily specials as well as happy hour discounted drinks and appetizers. One thing I like about this bar is they have a large menu selection-it even contains pictures of many of their items so you know exactly what you'll be getting. On this day, I got the Buffalo chicken sammie. They let you substitute your side dish if you don't want fries which I did because the sautéed button mushrooms they serve are simply heaven in a dish! So buttery and savory with a dash of black pepper it's by-far my favorite. Can't forget about the chicken breast though it was mighty large, juicy and grilled to perfection. Can't wait to try their other dishes if the sandwich is any indication of the quality. Give this place a look if you're in the area. They have plenty of seating for groups large and small."
"Located immediately next door to Paula June's restaurant this book store has a lot more merchandise than just books. There are toys and even clothing. About half the store is focused on our younger members of the population. There is a wide variety of books available both fiction and non-fiction for adults and young adults as well as children.I bought a couple of 3D bookmarks. A wolf and a shark that both look like they are coming out right at you. I also bought Al Unser Jr's new book which is a biography. You can order any book you want from them. They also have a rewards program.I saw interesting items such as a collection of Harry Potter glass magnets in different color collector sets to go with their books and supplemental materials like a book of Harry Potter blueprints. I also saw a Lord of the Rings book that has all three volumes of the story in one book. I had not seen that before."
"First time at Block Bistro & Grill, party of three for an early week day dinner . We shared a Biochos (Chicken Nachos) platter and we all had the Shrimp PO' Boy Sandwich. The Biochos were tasty and had plenty of grilled chicken, cheese and garnish. It was served with salsa and sour cream. The PO' Boy had five tasty fried shrimp on a French bread with lettuce, tomato and a remoulade sauce, served with fries Quaint ambience, reasonable prices, located in a historic district. Not a large space but comfortable looking patio. Service and food were good."
"You can never go wrong with having dinner at Bub's! Elk is fantastic, as is the chili! Atmosphere is inviting and the place is clean. The service is really good and did I mention, the food is fricken awesome! If you haven't tried it, you are missing out."
"My first visit was AMAZING! The staff was super friendly, from me walking in the door.. Until I walked out. I have more food items I want to try when I come back. Like the loaded salad. However, on this trip, I ordered the loaded baked potato with added tomatoes and a small order of fried green tomatoes. The loaded potato was reasonably sized. Not a big Idaho baker, but it also was not a small russet. I ordered steak as my protein. I was a bit disheartened, that they didn't have actual steak slivers. Instead, they had shaved steak. Granted, I like shaved steak.. But I like it as a Philly steak. In addition, some people love nacho cheese on their potatoes.. I don't. I just enjoy a melted shredded cheese. The fried green tomatoes were DELICIOUS! I would like to order 20,000 more. To sum it all up, the food was good! Just because I like my potato a certain way, and I read more into the menu without asking for more details, won't stop me from coming back..and don't let it stop you either."
"I was in need of a piece glass and, through the manufacturer, found The Glass Mule. It's a small shop in Noblesville that carries various glass items and artwork. The owner was a very nice guy and extremely helpful. His prices rival any similar online or local store selling the same high quality glass, and have the advantage of being a local small business! If you need some glassware, quartzware or artwork, I highly recommend them!"
"Food on the buffet was amazing quality 4 vegetarian and 4 meat dishes plus all the usual accompaniments. Their saag paneer is really the best I've ever had and the veggie korma was outstanding too. This is one of my favorite non vegan splurges but they also have an aloo dish and excellent rice and naan. Their chai is included too. Its is clean and pleasant decor and their staff is always friendly and helpful. I am seeing more and more diners and I hope they stick around for awhile!"
"If you love BBQ, especially Baby Back Ribs, this is your local Cincy 'go-to' spot! A national award-winning (probably world famous) recipe for those who've traveled to/thru The Queen City; I grew up here so am biased, however Montgomery Inn (Original location or Boathouse downtown), will not disappoint, nor will you leave hungry - oh SO GOOD!! Overall 4.5 rated experience for excellent foods, dining ambience, friendly service and local memorabilia. If ordering Ribs, expect to pay ~$28-35pp for an entree, but their menu is extensive so plenty to choose from meats to seafood etc. Recommend reservations if coming on weekend nights or with a group.Started with a cold beverage, they have a local Ted's "red" craft brew that's on tap, or full bar options. Munch on their house-made Saratoga chips and/or Onion straws (get a combo) with famous BBQ sauce dip - fantastic and crispy! Other starters available as well. For dinner, I ordered the "full" slab of 12-13 Ribs (1/2 slab 6-7 ribs), slow cooked to perfection! My eyes were bigger than my stomach because I could only finish 1/2 my order ... amazing, flavorful, sweet and savory BBQ melts in your mouth. And yes, leftovers cold or re-warmed are great! My side dish was the loaded baked potato, which was tasty and filling as well, but other sides of a veggie, mac-n-cheese, fries, sweet potato also available. And ask for a bib to avoid spilling sauce on your shirt! If you make it to dessert, they have a couple flavors of Graeters Ice Cream, another local and nationally known favorite, oh yeah!!Don't miss Montgomery Inn if visiting Cincinnati, a must-go spot for BBQ foodies! ENJOY!!!"
"Great Food ! Service was great and good price for the food. Its very convenient for pickup"
"Hipster central!!! Nice and place, food is excellent, great service. Nice little spot for a fast and delicious brunch."
"The reviews are all over the place on this one. Many seem to come from the Hyatt House side. We stayed on the Hyatt Place side. I'm a Hyatt member and I feel like that may have helped us out? Anyway, check in was super busy. They were behind on rooms, but ours was ready within 10 minutes and they let my kids and my husband and I pick out any snacks or drinks we wanted as an inconvenience. The room was great, had all the updated features. The area is amazing. There is a large green space, fire pits, tons of restaurants and shops. A big top golf across the road. There is so much to do! My kids enjoyed the large chess set out front. There are many signs with rules around the lobby which makes me think that some guests are problems (no kids unattended, no outside alcoholic drinks) but we had no issues. We had my kids out late and never heard from anyone. The hotel is very busy. If you're looking for a romantic and quiet get away, this isn't the spot. The rooms were quiet but the lobby was always bustling. The free breakfast was awesome! Such a nice perk. I love the decor and the design too. Highly recommend!"
