Indian Village

This is a hole in the wall. In fact if you weren't paying attention, you'd drive right by. It's a "trading post" with tshirts and other typical tourist things for sale. But in the corner of the store, is a restaurant counter where you place your order. Then you can sneak around to the back where there are 5-6 tables to eat at. (There are some in front too.)I had the Navajo Taco Indian Fry Bread and O.M.G. So delicious. A great kick of spice served hot and fresh within 5 minutes. I split that with a friend and we also split a powdered sugar Indian Fry Bread and it was the perfect amount for lunch without being overstuffed. They have a large menu of other things like tacos, burritos, chimichangas, enchiladas and all types of fry bread. They have breakfast food too. If you're going to Cave Creek, you definitely need to try this place for a one-of-a-kind experience. I know I'll be back and I'll be telling my friends about it too!

Indian Village is the best place in Cave Creek, Arizona to get fry bread! There's plain fry bread and there's a lot of variety of fry bread which has toppings which make a complete meal! Very reasonable prices and friendly employees!Lots of items to buy and indoor seating to eat your food.

I love coming and eating the food here. I wish they'd be open for longer hours but other than that no complaints. Their fry bread is really good!

Great food, excellent service, and well priced. If you are up this way, stop here. You won't regret it.

Chips came straight out of a Kirkland bag... beans from a can. Fry bread was okay, and so was enchilada. I feel like this is more of a grab and go place for locals. Sad we drove so far to try it. Not worth it in my opinion.

Excellent homemade food! Always made to order with fresh ingredients and tastes fantastic! Always friendly and fast with your order! Wonderful store to buy local products at and dining areas and store are always super clean! I love this place!

Cool dining room but the food was just ok. When I dine at Indian restaurants, I tend to over order, so I can have leftovers for the next day or sometimes too. None of the dishes here seem to jump out at me which is really rare. I'm hoping it was just a bad day, I'll certainly try them again to see if it's any better. I sure hope so!

We got take out of chix tacos, beef tacos, cheese enchilada w green sauce & a hellfire chili burrito. All were fresh ingredients promptly prepared, 5 min wait. Tacos were filled w shredded meat & plentiful cheese, cheese enchilada w green sauce was non-regret. Hellfire chili burrito was quite tasty, watching SO sweating to finish his half.

The first time I stopped here it was an accidental find, but this time it was intentional!! When I travel I always "eat where the locals eat"- and this is that place. The Navajo special taco is amazing! Take the time to look around in the shop, there is always something worth seeing and the prices are super reasonable.

Know that this is quaint before you go. I go for the food, which is very good. I had the Navajo taco and chicken/beef crispy tacos. All are very good but the Indian Taco I really like. It is on Indian fry bread, which is to my liking. Fast takeout service is a plus.Mark
