Mango Lassi was not the kind I always enjoyed tasted a bit sour, missing that Oomph feeling
I'm feeling nostalgic with their Thali plate. May better times lie ahead again.

It's probably not entirely fair to judge a smaller Indian restaurant solely by its lunch buffet but, as that's all that I've tried, I don't suppose I have any other option. The food was pretty decent - what little there was of it - but, by 1:00, most of the dishes were down to just sauce without much meat, the naan took forever to arrive and was quickly gone, the salad section was simply lettuce, cucumber slices, ranch dressing, and marinated chickpeas, there were no samosas or popadoms, and the bill came to $21.00, which is frankly ridiculous for such a skimpy selection. The service, once I was seated by the owner (?) consisted of the delivery of a pint glass, a pitcher of tap water without ice, and a napkin - no "how are you doing" or "can I get you anything else" to be seen, nor any water ever poured for me. The attitude seemed to be "it's a self-serve buffet so self-serve already". (If you're wondering, there were two waiters and the owner on the floor, so staffing levels were no excuse.)As to the decor and general atmosphere, my shoes stuck to the mats around the buffet stations, the dark and murky carpeting is old and hasn't been cleaned in decades, and the wooden chairs are sticky with years of grime and residue. I truly dislike posting negative reviews like this but, honestly, I was both disappointed and more than a little disgusted by the whole experience. I'll not be back and I don't recommend trying this place yourself.

The food is fresh and the naan toasty right from the tandoor. Rather than out out a lot all at once, they keep replenishing real-time. Service is vary nice. Friendly and accommodating staff. Feels like they are a cohesive family-like staff. I had the tea for the first time and adding 1/2 of the sugar packet made for a delightful, fragrant beverage. The selection is limited to about 24 main dishes and about 10 refrigerated dishes. Not many vegetarian dishes but I love meat!Lots of room, not claustrophobic. Nice current Indian music not too loud. Many Indian customers dining in and taking to go.

Tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt, but the portions were tiny for the price. The flavor was definitely not there for any of the curries especially because they were somewhat watery and not thick. It made me not want to eat Indian food for awhile, which is crazy because I love Indian food! The worst part is my friends and I basically got burgers next door because we left not full.

Food was delightful and wonderful the downside was the mango Lassi mine didn't have that Oomph taste that I usually get but it's okay first time for everything.Service was decent and the atmosphere was quiet, and cozy with lots of cultural decorations.Hopefully, the next time I come back the mango Lassi will improve.

Great service, not crowded for lunch at all. They have a choose two/three lunch special. Decent deal. The naan is the best I've had! Chewy and crispy all in the best of ways!

Worst. Curry. Ever.Ordered delivery in my hotel - Doubletree near Sea-Tac airport. Driver couldn't find the room, but we eventually got our food. No utensils so we had to go searching for some. Chicken korma was not even close to what it should be and was inedible. Shrimp vindaloo has very overcooked shrimp and also tasted bad. It's still repeating on me the next morning! Even the garlic naan had no flavor. The whole meal went in the trash. Order from here at your peril. They don't understand you when you call, so no point in complaining!

My original review from 2014 is unchanged. This place has maintained it's quality and service. I've been going there since the first month they opened under the new owner ten years ago. Great food, great people.

Worst food ever. It was $20 too.Don't go here. I should have gone to Bellevue. They have good Indian restaurants there. Obviously they are cutting costs. None of the dishes were Good. Only the Mango Pudding was edible.$20 for nothing. I should have walked away. Terrible food . Next to no chicken or meat in anything. Most tasteless food ever.

I have to say the Indian Curry Palace did not disappoint. I ordered for pick up and they had my food hot and ready within minutes of my arrival. The staff was gracious and welcoming and seemed genuinely appreciative to earn my business. It was a nice experience overall and I even had leftovers that were just as amazing the next day!
