I'm not sure where to even start this review. This place was recommended to me by someone that I met at a conference. They ate here all three nights they were in town. The moment that we arrived at this restaurant and greeted by Shaun we knew this was going to be a home run. There were three of us in our party and we were seated immediately with a beautiful view of the city. Shaun recommended the lamp lollipops and bruschetta for appetizers and my wife threw in a wedge salad. Our table ordered the ribeye, lobster carbonara, & portobello mushroom ravioli as our entrees. They came to the table and torched the butter on top of the steak to melt it. The flavor of every meal was spectacular and exceeded our expectations. They have a great wine offering and we took advantage of that as well. Shaun was very knowledgeable and suggested a great wine based on our entree selections. This was one of the best experiences that we had while visiting San Diego. I wouldn't call this a dinner but an experience that includes a meal. I have already recommended this place to some friends that are planning a visit soon. It's a must try of your in the area. Hands down the best service that we've experienced in quite awhile and we travel and eat out a lot. I hope you give these guys a try after reading this review and if you're lucky you will get Shaun. First time dining and last. My plate came with past/old vegetables. Broccoli was turning yellow. Green beans were moldy. The steak was aged but tasted a little funky. Whatever you do, don't sit by the hostess. Hostess with bright red lips would not stop talking to us- way too chatty and constantly staring our way which made our dining experience very uncomfortable. The place could use a nice deep cleaning. I noticed the upholstery stains along with the floors filth. A bit grimy overall. Service was OK but the food was delayed. I noticed the table in front of us getting their food before us even though they walked in after us.

Slow service with average food! This place is very close to the convention centre and maybe that's why it survives. I will probably skip coming here again

The have a good happy hour that starts early. Portions for happy hour were not large but the food was good. The service was nice and the person greeting people on the street was very personable,and really he was the reason we chose this restaurant for lunch

I absolutely loved this place first I had a tarimusi martini absolutely delicious then I ordered the short rib lasagna delicious the bread was tasty Cesar salad was very tasty overall everything was felt very nice ambiance the jazz that was playing was fantastic I will be back

First time here for dinner and loved it. Sat outside on a perfect summer night. Highly recommend the Burratta and prosciutto to start. Also had the signature pizza Cant go wrong if you are in the mood for pizza. Loved it. Will come back and try the pasta next time. Also. Perfectly located if you are in gas lamp district or in Town for a Padres game as we were. Looking forward to coming back

Beyond pleasant environment. Music and service is second to none! The food is beyond extravagant. Complements to the chef on everything ! Can't wait to come here again!

5 stars. Great food, drinks and service despite the chaos of Comic Con. Would highly recommend trying the lobster ravioli and the truffle risotto.
