Ichi Teriyaki

I have been a loyal customer for years and through new managements. Since Covid the portions have gotten smaller, which with inflation, understandable. My all time favorite has been shrimp Yakisoba. Aside from smaller portion, it has lost the awesome flavor. Please bring that back.

This place has a new owner and it's wonderful! Old owners had good food but the service was wild and the prices always changed from the menu. The new owner has the clear prices, has tap to pay setup, and is a very friendly and patience dude. Hands down the best teriyaki ever

I love this place! I use to come here all the time when I lived in Kent but haven't been back in years. Randomly decided to stop in today for a quick bite and they DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! I ordered the honey garlic chicken and a side of Gyoza. Both items were really tasty and flavorful. They also let me know that they hired a new chef who has over 20+ years of experience and it shows. The food was good before but it's even better now. Definitely give this place a try if you've been thinking of a go to teriyaki spot in Kent!

Food selection is great. Always fresh and hot except for the beef(not sure why). And the chicken wings are good(original or Korean spicy). Takes awhile for orders to be made but worth the wait. The cashier is always nice and welcoming.

We paid 12.95 for stir fried veggies at this place only to open a soggy gross wilted mess of cabbage. There were two pieces of broccoli in the whole container. Food is too expensive to jerk around your patrons. We will not be going back!

The food is good but watch your change if you're paying with cash and watch for a double credit-card charge if you are using a card.

After waiting almost 40 minutes I got my food got home and began to eat. Never had the entire family spit out their food. The chicken tasted like fish not fresh, the teriyaki sauce was so salty it could have been used as a cow lick. Even the free salad they gave for the wait was bad how do u mess up just lettuce? You keep it in water so your customer has to pour out 1/3 cup of water from the salad container. Do not go here find something else

My rice was old. You can tell that it's hard on the exterior to the touch. It was definitely pre-scooped and it hardened over time or was old from last night... Kind of weird to serve old rice... The garlic chicken tasted amazing, although I think they used prebooked chicken and then breaded to fry. It was very nice and crispy + the sauce was delicious. My only complaint was that I received a half empty box. So if you would compare it to a fellow yelper's garlic chicken photo posted from the past which was full, imagine me getting 9 tiny pieces of quarter sized chicken. When I say tiny, I meant it was the tiniest portion I've ever received from a teriyaki joint. When I opened the box I was very surprised. Definitely felt very cheated. Salad doesn't come with the meal. So I ordered salad of course. It was fresh + the salad sauce was thick and delicious! I randomly came here out of the blue from driving around the area. Otherwise I would have never known about this place. This place has potential to be good, but the old rice, small portions, and precooked batter chicken has lowered the ratings for this review. I want to love it, but there was also the cons.

We used to order their delicios food in the past, starting couple of years ago. The food was amazing, no complains. In the last year, the quality became worst and worst every time. Ordered combo yakisoba and instead of at least 5-7 shrimp, I got only 1 shrimp for full order. I'm not talking about a lot of changes to bad side. AVOID this place, and better find something else, it's my recomendation.
