Good ice cream shop down by the water. They have a nice variety of ice cream flavors. The girls working were nice & the ice cream shop is in a great location. Not the best ice cream I've had, there were some chunks of ice in it & my cone was a little over cooked with a burnt taste. They have tables you can sit at which was nice on a rainy day.

We were at Point Ruston. The temperature is hot. Naturally, I gravitated towards the line that leads to the ice cream shop. Ice Cream Social is a small local company. This is their second location. They are very similar to the other ice creameries in the area, such as Molly Moon, Salt & Straw, where they offer standard flavors and temporary flavors. The prices are similar, too. They make their waffle cones in house. The shop is fairly basic, white color decorated. On this hot day, the line is long, but they move reasonably fast. They are well staffed. A separate ice cream station at the front offers free samples; a sign states this is the only place to get samples. I suspect that is a policy when it's busy. Hubby chose coconut match blueberry. I chose roasted banana. Both flavors are excellent. A single is $5.75. My photo is partially eaten.

Stopped by for an after dinner dessert while in Ruston Washington. I had the Salted Caramel ice cream in a waffle cone. Just like most hand made ice cream parlors, the taste was amazing and the portion size was good. This store had a line out of the door, however, it did move fast. Samples are given just as you enter the door, so when you reach the counter, be ready to order. The price at this time was eight dollars a scoop, so it's pretty expensive, however, this store is located in a tourist trap area. So be prepared. Give this place a try if you fact ice cream. You won't be disappointed.

Love this spot! This shop serves both classic and creative flavors, and this location is my favorite due to the location. Ice cream at the waterfront on a sunny summer's day? YES PLEASE. The line is long and the shop is small, but it goes by really fast, and besides, you wouldn't wanna stay inside a shop when it's nice out, no?The base isn't super, super, creamy, so -1 star here. Will have to say that their matcha coconut and rose flavors are my favorites so far!For having ice cream here, you can have free parking for up to two hours. Just go on over to the tablet within the first 15 minutes of parking and input your license plate info to get it waived.

We stopped by Ruston Way after an afternoon at the Museum of Glass and ofc I couldn't pass on a local creamery.* ROASTED BANANAI'm not sure if I got any roasted notes but regardless it was a really good banana flavor. I'm a huge fan when it tastes like the real thing and not artificial laffy taffy banana. I found it comparable to the some of the top ice cream shops in San Francisco.* ALMOND POPPYSEEDTasted just like the name - almond flavor upfront with poppyseed notes coming in after. If you've never had almond flavor just think if the scent of almond extract is what you are tasting.I was honestly surprised there is such a good ice cream shop out this way and I'd recommend a stop here before/after walking along the waterfront.

A long line to get the best treat that Tacoma has to offer. Wait 30 minutes for this tray.

My friend wanted to get some birthday ice cream while we were in town so I had to say yes! There was a line when we showed up mid-afternoon on a Saturday. It was an overcast day, although pleasant out. I can see how this place would get super busy on a hot summer day! The line moved relatively quickly, but I had enough time to choose my flavor/size.Although I can inhale a pint of ice cream no problem, I decided to be a responsible adult and went for a kid's size scoop of the Vegan Coconut Stracciatella in a cup. The serving size and price were pretty standard, and the ice cream was tasty. Definitely a plant-based coconut milk flavor, along with those chocolate pieces. The other vegan option was a sorbet, which just doesn't do it for me in general. It would be nice if there was another vegan ice cream flavor option, but I'll take what I can get! My friend loves their Roasted Banana flavor. The shop is cute--there is a decent amount of seating outside, or you can take your treat over to the water for a view, which we did. The employees were nice, it was a pleasant experience overall. I'd come back again if friends/family wanted to stop by for ice cream while in the area.

The ambience is very open and welcoming. They have tables indoor & outdoor. The ice cream is delicious. Since they always put in different special for the day. They could be a wait, but it's worth it. I had the Passion fruit which I love and tried the lemon meringue which was also good.

The sun was out today! We decided to take our dog out on a walk today, and we decided to get some ice cream! The line was REALLY long, but honestly, worth it. The shop itself is clean and they have quick service. There was music playing as well, so it was awesome. I got 2 of the mint ice cream flavors, my boyfriend got the banana and caramel flavor. Honestly, all of the flavors were great, I'd go again 100%! I wish they allowed dogs to walk through though, it was such a pain having only one person go in to get the ice cream, while I had to wait outside. Since there's no dogs allowed, and there's a lot of people with dogs outside, they should have a menu outside that is accessible for them! :)
