I just moved to Seattle and I needed my local teriyaki spot and this place is hands-down amazing I cannot wait to come here more often. The chicken teriyaki and Gyoza is Bomb.

Decent spot for Teriyaki, but it's not the best. There are plenty of teriyaki spots in Seattle given it was popularized here. This teriyaki spot is very close to Gas Works Park, so a good suggestion would be to take it over to the park for a picnic. They have a small parking lot in the plaza, so it's easy to drop someone off to pick up the food. The portions are great and plenty, and the staff was friendly! However, taste wise, it was average and didn't wow me. Therefore, it's a decent local spot if you live close by and want something quick for lunch or dinner, but nothing worth driving out for.

I ordered the chicken teriyaki with rice. Pretty straight forward chicken teriyaki with white rice. Portions were pretty big but nothing stood out about it.

You know teriyaki is great when the container it comes in feels like a solid brick. The lady at the counter was nice while also running around being busy. The price:quality AND quantity ratio are all perfect. You open the clamshell to see the most delightful pile of meat. And of course it comes with the classical teriyaki salad too. What is that dressing and why is it so good. Last time I came here was for something to eat while hanging out at fremont brewing co but this time we didn't have anywhere to be so we sat in one of 3 tables in the storefront. This was definitely not a place designed with dine-in in mind so it's nice they provide the option at all. I got the teriyaki and shrimp tempura combo. I think I like the chicken and chicken katsu combo more but you really have to commit to eating A LOT of chicken if you get that. Not that it's hard given how delicious it is. All in all a fantastic local business to support

Big portion for the chicken friend rice. SUPER tender chicken in both the Katsu and chicken friend rice. Was expensive though! For both of these + 2 regular canned drinks it was $44.50.

I have lived in Seattle my entire life, and have tried chicken katsu at nearly every joint in the area. I Love Teriyaki on Stone Way (near Gasworks park) is absolutely the best chicken katsu I've EVER had. The chicken is thick, crispy and juicy which is essential. But the SAUCE, the chicken katsu SAUCE, is absolutely incredible. If you go, make sure you ask for extra sauce. Prices are a bit high, but TOTALLY worth it in my opinion !!!

I ordered the chicken teriyaki because the lady said it was their bestseller. Delicious teriyaki that is perfect for takeout. Large portions that can feed two people (or one very hungry guy). Veggies are alright. Will recommend and buy again!

$2.59 for a luke warm can of Coke? My God.It's unclear to me if anything else matters besides what that tells us. My chicken was delicious, the shrimp tempura was light and flavorful. It was tough to fathom that "special" being $19. But hey, it's 2023. Then that Coke. My God that Coke....
