Review for take out omekase and king crab soup.I've had grilled mackerel here before and it's very good.Tried my luck with their sashimi... not so good. Many tough pieces. The scallops and few pieces were fishy. Wasabi is a weird color green, like neon, not very flavorful. I wouldn't recommend omekase. I expected much more more $70.... The kind crab miso soup has two pieces of leg but uncracked. Not thoughtful for the customer-how is one supposed to eat this with out scissors, etc?Service was quick and friendly, but food was a strong "don't come back for sashimi".Better luck with cooked items.

My workplace and I opted to take a long lunch on Presidents' Day. We arrived at the restaurant around 1:20 pm, not realizing it closed at 2 pm. But the person working up front happily seated us, but warned us that since it was a holiday they were not doing their normal lunch menu so beware about prices and he even handed us a menu to make sure we were ok with it. We were so he got our table ready quickly and seated us. Our waitress was fast and efficient taking our orders, and our food came out quickly! I got udon and their tempura pumpkin sushi. The udon was great and the sushi was definitely interesting. I love fried pumpkin but don't know if I like it with rice and seaweed but it definitely wasn't bad!The waitress did a "last call" for us as the restaurant closes after 2. We ended up staying until 2:30, slightly feeling bad we didn't notice the time, but everyone working there was extremely nice! The restaurant itself is very nice, and there's a nice view of some boats. Would be interested in returning!

Not impressed with what was being ordered today. We ordered a chirashi, Tokyo (sushi set - 8 nigiri and a spider roll), garden bento, and a regular lunch bento. The chirashi had a beautiful presentation, but the rest of the food lacked the finesse. Japanese food is all about the artistry, and this place didn't hit the mark. Before I even tasted the spider roll, I could tell that the batter was way too thick, and it overpowered the delicate flavor of the soft shell crab. As for the raw fish, although fresh, it's not the highest quality because it lacks the natural flavor of the fish. Not to mention, the "wasabi" that they served is one of the worst I had. No flavor, I literally had to use the whole portion before I had a little tingly sensation. Note to all Japanese restaurants out there: please do not serve Wasabi that are from a tube. Even if you have quality ingredients, using the fake stuff ruins the integrity of your dish. Just buy the actual Japanese horseradish and grind it up yourself.

The fish quality here is so fresh and not fishy at all. I got the Tokyo set which came with a spider roll and nigiri. The spider roll was crispy and a good size. My friend got the udon set and she really enjoyed it. I came here on a weekday day around 1pm and it was very packed! We waited about 10 minutes to be seated. Overall I really enjoyed the meal but we were sat at the table near the entrance and bathrooms and the stench of the bathroom was very strong and off putting while eating.

This is my go-to spot for chirashi bowl in Seattle! They are very generous with their portion and their fish is super high quality! If you go during lunch time, it offers a very affordable price. They have 2 locations - one on Lake Union and one in Bellevue. However it seems both locations are own by different owners and portion size is a bit different! The service is good and ambience is very casual!

My friends and I came here last year for restaurant week and we decided to come again. We ordered 3 restaurant week trays and 1 tempura entree. The Tempura entree was great! Big portion and all the veggies and shrimp are tasty. I actually haven't had a tempura meal that could satisfy me for a while ( no kidding), and I am a little surprised and amazed by this tempura. The restaurant week menu offer was a good choice with many delicious and fresh fish (see pictures). We unfortunately did not receive that much service probably due to understaffing. The restaurant has 8 free parking spots or you have to pay for parking.

This restaurant is right by Lake Union and has incredible views. There were seats available outside for 4 people, but since we had a larger party, we had to sit inside. The food was delicious, we had various rolls, udon, and a chirashi bowl. Everything tasted fresh and delectable. Not pictured was tempura ice cream, that was the highlight for me, 10/10 highly recommended the tempura ice cream. The waitress was extremely attentive and nice, she talked about her recommendations and was very patient and friendly with us.

Food - the miso was good and there are four different types! I had the golden tofu roll, which was my favorite, and the caterpillar roll, which was also good. My partner had the short ribs and mango roll, which he liked as well. They do have a whole vegetarian and vegan section! They don't have any cocktails though - it's mostly tea, soft drinks, beer, and sake. Service - They seemed somewhat understaffed, but they forgot our drinks a few times. It took some time to get our order in. The servers were very polite and were doing their best though. Ambiance - the patio was really nice. You get to see the water and see the sunset behind QA. It was pretty romantic on the patio, but there was a large group of friends/coworkers inside that seemed to be having a good time indoors too. As a note, they do not seem to be animal friendly on the patio.

I went to I Love Sushi for a quick lunch during work and it was lovely. My friend and I got seated quickly. We ordered 2 sushi rolls which came with 2 miso soups and then 2 green teas. The whole total ended up being $28 which felt super reasonably priced - especially for sushi in Seattle. For the rolls, we got the sunshine roll and the crunchy roll. I personally am still new to the sushi world and I get creeped out by sushi easily. The crunchy roll was really tasty. The sunshine roll was a tad bit too much for me. I think it was the texture on that one that I wasn't a huge fan of - taste wise, it wasn't very fishy though. It was just super soft and was missing a crunch factor. I'd love to come grab lunch here during the summertime. I'll certainly be coming back soon.
